Sinful decadent breakfast food! Service was good for a busy weekend afternoon. It was four of us ladies and all the food was tasty from the pancakes to the breakfast skillets.

Stacked is simply a gem. Restaurant is always clean and staff are always friendly. I love how they have a unique breakfast menu. For the first time I tried salmon for breakfast. Served over sauteed spinach with scrambled eggs and pancakes. A delicious dish. The food always comes out fast and hot. Both locations are always a delight.

First of all - this is a breakfast/lunch place - they are not open past around 2pm or so - check the hours to be sure. Service was fantastic - our wait person was great and attentive. He checked on us periodically, brought us refills on drinks & was attentive to our needs the entire time. The food is a bit overpriced in my opinion for the amount you receive, but it is solid, decent quality. I had the Eggs Benedict and the ham was THICK and AWESOME, the English Muffin was a little soggy, could have been toasted longer, and I could have used additional hollandaise sauce. The hash browns were also decent. You could swap it out for red potatoes if you wanted. The tables are close, but there is enough room for a large party to be seated comfortably. The restaurant is on a corner and is mostly shaped like a large "L" inside. Otherwise, I would go back and try something new next time. The place is clean, friendly and definitely worth a trip!!

Wonderful portions of food! Our server Christina was an absolute delight and she made sure to come by and check on our table often. I came on a weekday morning around 10am and it was quite a few people there but not too crowded. The restaurant was warm and inviting and nice comfortable seating options.

Horrible experience! Our waitress Catherine automatically charged us (party of 2) gratuity. Not a huge issue but I asked her to take it off because we were leaving cash. She disregarded my request and still charged me. I asked her why and she aggressively told me she didn't see the reason why I didn't want to leave a tip and she was not going to take it off. She started yelling and cursing me out and ended up calling the cops lying that we were trying to fight them. Cops came and did nothing! I will never come here again and it's a shame this is one of my favorite spots! No wonder they have signs saying there staff sucks!

The service was ok, but their quality of food has definitely fallen off. I ordered a steak skillet, my was ordered ham & eggs. What I had was not steak, but more like a butchered up roast, that had a funky taste to it, along with the bell peppers. My wife's eggs were not from the shell, but more like a carton( liquid). We used to brag on how good the food used to be, after today's encounter you've just lost 2 customers.

Well as always the staff was great. The atmosphere is great, restaurant is clean restroom too. The prices are a little higher but that's everywhere. Stacked was once 3rd in our top 5. Now I say 7 out of 10. My cheese wasn't melted and the peppers and onions were just thrown on top of my potatoes. The portions where still nice but overall the food was lukewarm. The tea was great and should have been for close to five dollars. Still I would come again.

I think the best part of breakfast here is that kids stay busy instead of nagging loool

I love how they immediately offer entertainment for kids. Even aftrr all these years the wait lines are still long. Food still awesome, not as noisy as it was so very chill.

I'm guessing someone from the restaurant is upset about my review.

I'm here for breakfast came in at 12:50 & the girl at the front lied told us it was only one person working all the tables and the wait was 30 mins. I saw at the least 3 women working the table. She told no one else this lie after us. 4 more groups of 2 came after us. Now why would she do that? Update! Messaging me about my review is not going to change how I feel about it! It's obvious that you don't respect your customers! DONT GO HERE!

The food was really good! Ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes and corn beef hash. There's a ton of food with each meal. Definitely enough for two people to split. The red velvet pancakes look great too! Went on a Sunday, about a 30 min wait for two. Staff was friendly. Everything came out hot. Not sure why they have bad reviews. I would definitely come back.

I love stacked. The location in Crestwood is definitely better than their Oak Lawn location, less wait times and very good customer service

Food was good but I thought the price was way higher than other breakfast restaurants that I usually go to. Probably will not be going back.

As soon as I gave my order I knew the food was going to be excellent. The politeness, hospitality, and attention to detail really make this place stick out. I ordered a double cheeseburger combo. I dined in the restaurant. All I have to say is......AMAZING! This was one of if not the BEST Burger I've ever had in my life. This place is truly an example of what a "Burger joint" should be. Think of it, fresh ingredients and everything made to order right in front of you. I'm going back next week, and I'm telling all my friends about this hidden gem! Outstanding experience! SB

If you name your establishment Retro Burger, you probably need to make sure you're dealing out some…read moretasty burgers. Good news because the owner of this place did his due diligence. This carryout-only shop on Cicero Ave in Crestwood has been open for a number of years, and yet I've never managed to stop in?!? What's really strange is that I happen to be a guy who LOVES a good burger.. like, it's one of my favorite foods. Anyway, I stopped in on my way home from work recently, and it was well worth the trip. I'm guessing the owner helped me during my visit, as he was the only one working. As mentioned, Retro Burger is a small, but very clean space with an extremely limited menu. That speaks to me. Pick a handful of things you're going to serve folks and then skillfully execute them. My burger choices were either "Hamburger" or "Cheeseburger". Now both of these options feature a 1/2 pound of beef, and we're not talking about pre-made, pre-formed or frozen burger patties. This gentleman opened the cooler, took out a tube of fresh ground beef, cut off a 1/2 pound, slapped it on the flat top and gave it a press. I knew this was gonna be special. The brioche bun is steamed prior to a quick trip to the griddle. The grilled onions were dropped in the deep fryer for a minute and then plopped on the griddle next to the burger patty. The bacon came next and it was crispy. Gave the burger a nice crunch without being overwhelming. The lettuce and tomatoes are fresh... you're probably picking up the vibe by now. This cheeseburger was no joke. Very tasty, and made with care. The rest of the menu consists of a hot dog, a polish sausage and maybe one other thing, but the reason to stop in to Retro Burger is for the burgers! The cheese fries were fine, but nothing to write home about. The price point is higher because the quality is there and you can taste it. There are 3 or 4 other places within 5 miles of this place if you're looking for a $5 Big Baby Double Cheeseburger, but I would strongly encourage you to spend a few extra dollars and get yourself a serious sandwich. I'll be back.
