As a absolutely foody to see 3 stars on this app absolutely absurd... I've worked in many breakfast places and as a reviewer for Yelp this restaurant the cook owner has went above and beyond to prepare his food.. I ordered the chilaquiles on point not soggy perfect spice exactly what I was looking for.. I also ordered a broccoli cheddar skillet with avocado and let me tell you I've never had any skillet that had broccoli with seasoning it had a hint of garlic not just grilled and thrown in there that flavor was incredible you don't get that at other restaurants... And then of course my favorite thing waffles I don't know what this man does to the waffles but it was crispy on the outside and kind of lacy inside my kind of waffle not a waffle that you cut into and it looks like a pound cake I can't figure out how he makes it or whatever he does that's how a waffle should be.. He uses fresh potatoes.. and fresh hash browns although ..I was charged which believe me I get I a pecan waffle with pecan inside and out I think I was charged $5 extra but you know what pecans are expensive and boy there was a lot on there I would chop them up though..... Was very clean the windows were clean that's my pet peeve when you walk into a restaurant and you have dirty windows the coffee pots were shiny they take pride the cleanliness of the restaurant my server was excellent very informative I did ask about the owner cuz I was just truly impressed usually when food is made to perfection the most part and this industry it's always not a Greek Hispanic they learn and watch and intact.. I don't know if he had had experience before but whatever he had whatever he knew..he is definitely gifted.... I will give 20 stars to this place I hate I work mornings I can't even get there I just had a day off and I was at urgent Care and we stopped there it makes me feel like breaking a bone and having to go back there just so I can go back for breakfast or just take a day off of work LOL.... There is an automatic gratuity don't be discouraged and understand the area they probably work many years getting stiffed and had no choice.. to succumb to that.... Food was amazing! I got a veggie skillet with toast and apple juice. Everything was fresh and cooked amazing. However it's a bit pricey. 100$ for a family of 4, but I guess now expected. The booths and tables are a little tight together, so if you do order food and have 4 people, the table might be small for you. The parking is also a little bit of a disaster. When they're busy , I would assume you'd have to park on the street, because their parking lot is about 10 cars worth. Waitress was sweet and attentive. read more

This is a nice mom and Pop place. You can find a nice park on the street and the food was good and the portions are large. The only part that I did not like was that my food came out a little later than my friends were halfway through eating when I finally got my food I was severely hungry. this place can get crowded so I suggest you come early. Bialey's is exactly what every neighborhood needs. We have frequented this locale regularly for both breakfast and lunch and Bialey's has hit it out of the park 9/10 times. The service is great, the atmosphere is light and warm and the food is very delicious and plentiful. If you love chicken sandwiches - The Chicken BLT is a must, if you love "lemonade" they have what you NEED! Their skillets are huge and should already come w a to-go box! I have eaten brunch and literally not eaten again until dinner (very filling). Lupe is a "hoot" and a great time when visiting. Most of the menu is a "hit" and you are able to customize each plate as needed per your request. Fantastic family owned business is an understatement. My family and I were looking for pancakes on this Sunday morning and we found a hidden gem. Come to find out the business has been around for 25 years. The food was amazing and very tasty. The service was great Luz and Brenda were so friendly, I didn't want to leave. I tried the taco dinner (with steak, chicken and beef tacos) everything was bomb and my daughter had the French toast and egg breakfast which was incredible. With so many restaurants struggling to stay open these days, it's such a blessing to find one that still offers dine-in seating. They offer very limited capacity and every other table is blocked. They do clean in between guests and masks are required until your food arrives. I absolutely LOVE their hash browns; big chunks of crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside potatoes. Bialys is such a great, local neighborhood diner! I've gotten breakfast takeout from Bialys a number of times and always satisfied! Typically takes ~ 20 minutes for the order and dishes are very reasonably priced with generous portions. I've always gotten takeout, never dined in with COVID restrictions but the staff is very friendly with me and in what've I've seen interacting with other diners. We've tried a lot of the dishes and my favorite is anything with chorizo! I specifically like the Braulios skillet and the Mexican omelette. The chorizo just hits different in the morning! Personally wasn't a huge fan of the eggs Benedict. It had a peach next to it and the Hollandaise sauce had a tangy peach flavor. It wasn't bad just caught me off guard and wasn't the traditional Benedict i was craving. Overall I've loved my experience and plan to be a regular at Bialys! read more

I can't really leave a review of this place because I never receive my food. My husband and I came here and Valentines Day it was busy. Understandable because of Covid restrictions and the holiday but it was only 2 ladies taking orders and seating people. We ended up just walking out. Most importantly you have to spent a minimum of $10 to use your debit card. read more

This place has really gone downhill. Water was tap and had a terrible taste. They don't provide napkins in the restrooms. They have a sign that says paper napkins outside. Imagine all the people that do not wash their hands already and you just touched a dirty door knob. When we sat down we ordered our drinks and soup. I loved it the first few times I ordered but the quality went down & it's like they can't read the notes you leave & I leave the note in every box, just to make sure it's not overlooked. Today was a reminder of why I order from Flapjack but they were closed. The omelette was way overcooked. The hash browns were burnt. I took my husband who is legally blind to Bialy's in Evergreen Park to eat breakfast while I went to my dental appointment next door. I explained to the waitress that my husband was visually impaired and to take special care of him. When I returned, after my appointment, my husband had half eaten his food and complained of the food being cold when it was served after a 20 minute wait. I had intended to sit down and eat but I refused to do so and told the waitress at checkout how displeased I was about my husband's service. We have been there before and never had an issue. I asked if the cook had changed, but she said no. My only conclusion was that they no longer wanted our business. read more

Well I liked this place in the beginning. I stopped in maybe two times a week in the past month. This last week their service was ok. The food wasn't great and they were very skimpy on my breakfast sandwich. I called in to complain about my sandwich that I had picked up on my lunch break and was rudely told to bring the whole sandwich back. I'm like I ordered it because I was hungry.
