This is my second year, hosting a birthday party at in the game. We had 52, counted 24 children the rest adults. I booked my party a few months in advance with Chris G. The assistant manager, another assistant manager Kara helped create my vision of what the party should be, (staff here is amazing)our server Maurice was awesome he ensured all of my guests were content with food and drinks, super attentive too to our party. We had the VIP space upstairs which was great. My son had the absolute best time here and everyone enjoyed themselves. Kids enjoyed the arcade and outdoor attractions. The party room offered a nice atmosphere. Only negative was- They need to increase on air-conditioning circulation in the space could have been better. There are slot machines too. I talked to a staff member and there ne GM only comes in for less than an hour and works from there home. Looks like they will not be open much longer since they dont care about the community and the businesses that are here. If you gave my son the ability to teleport at will to one place in the world, he would pick the arcade at Hollywood Park. And while I'm not saying that would be my pick, I see his point. There are a lot of fun games, though too many in the pure slot machine category (where "playing" consists of just winning a random amount of tickets rather than laundering the gambling through a game of skill), but the prizes available are actually reasonably cool and the number of tickets you need to win them is merely exorbitant, rather than sheer robbery. They also have a satisfactory fast food thing onsite (pizza, chicken tenders, etc.) and a surprisingly deep array of outdoor options -- go-karts, slightly perfunctory mini-golf, a very small roller coaster, a giant slide, a toddler ropes course. I could easily come back, and I guess I will whether I like it or not. read more

In addition to golf, they had mini bowling, bumper cars, and few other attractions that weren't open for the season yet. Plus some arcade games. And they have a snack bar/cafeteria place. We always come here and the kids enjoy themselves. This time was no different, however, this time our food order was wrong. I asked if there was something small that we could have, maybe, because we had one child eating and one child waiting and was told that everything was made from scratch so it would be a while. I found a manager, Chris, and simply explained the situation and he rectified the situation quickly and beyond our expectations!!! This is why we never hesitate to bring our children here! A very nice place for the entire family. It is mandatory mask wearing no excuses. Even outside which is good for the protection of all of us. It is good for adults because they have adult drinks large TVs to watch the games and they have a good selection for food and frozen drinks . They have rides outside kart racing and giant slide and a ride that goes front wards in circles and then backwards. They also have minute game outside and bowling and inflatable bumper karts. Super impressed! There are few places you can go where it's even better now than it was in your childhood. The grounds are gorgeously maintained, everything is clean, and the workers are attentive, kind, and helpful. The mini golf is beautiful and maintained, and each hole is cozy with trees, lights, and little building scenes. We came that evening to mini golf, but we had found a Groupon package that had offered games. Our kids had a blast playing the games, and the package that we bought lasted for a lot of plays and fun games. In fact, we had mini-golfed and played what I felt was quite a few games, and the park was about to close, so we came back to finish our credits a few days later. We had a great experience on that second day as well. My parents, who had not been there in over 20 years, came with us to golf, and they were really impressed with everything. The hours and site regulations for dresscode are family-friendly, and I so appreciate that we can take our kids to a great environment. There is a really nice eating area both inside and in a glassed-in window area, which overlooks the pretty lawn and flowers. Our family has played here throughout the years, but the place has slowly gone downhill, with malfunctioning games and cheap knockoff prizes. 1. Down the Clown (a staple game at arcades) is missing several balls, but instead of getting the proper balls, staff replaced them with lightweight balls that are hardly heavy enough to even knock the clowns down. This of course takes away from the fun. 2. QuikDrop, a game where players drop balls into buckets as quickly as possible, has been broken as long as we can remember. Balls do not dispense properly, making the game unplayable. The fact that this has gone unfixed for so long shows how neglectful the staff is regarding their games. 3. Pop the Lock, another popular game that tests your hand-eye coordination, has an unbearable lag. This makes the game unplayable as the entire purpose of the game is to react with lightning speed to win the jackpot. Again, another example of how neglectful staff has been with games. 4. Whack-N-Win, a game that takes only a few seconds to play, has an unexplainable premium placed on its price, and to add insult to injury, the jackpot payout for the game is unusually low. Other games have jackpots that are too low too. (Why is Down the Clown 250 tickets instead of the usual 500?) 5. Zombie Snatcher looks like it was built in the 1990's and doesn't even award tickets automatically. Instead, you take an actual hockey puck to the front of the store to redeem what are laughably low awards, like 50 or 100 tickets. (What a waste of time!) 6. If you're lucky enough to win a jackpot on any game, don't expect to be able to play it for another 5 minutes. The electric ticket counter takes several minutes to "count" your tickets, and the game remains inaccessible to anyone while it does this. Expect to watch several frustrated guests repeatedly swipe their card in a futile effort to play a game someone has won a jackpot on. 7. Many of the "top prizes" behind the shelf are cheap knockoff brands: cheap, low quality headphones and electronics. In a nutshell: Too many broken games and prizes need improvement. It also wouldn't hurt to add a few more redemption games; there really isn't that much variety. Only reason I give two stars instead of one is the food is solid. read more

Took my friends younger sister and her friends to celebrate her birthday. It was nice that they're weren't that many people bc of covid. The employees do not really enforce wearing masks either. We saw so many kids running around with no masks. Sanitizing stations were everywhere throughout. Kids played bowling (cutest bowling area ever with the cutest balls lol) and lots of games. They also enjoyed bumper cars and go karting. Go karting requires you to be 18 years of age to drive so the adults had fun with this one. Definitely a place to create memories with your little ones and blow money lol. We didn't eat here but hope to one day. They make their own Pizza and wings in house! Great spot to take the kids for some game time and family fun. Was here on Sunday at 2pm for a play date with my daughter and her friend. It's not a big place, but have great game options and attractions. Some of the popular attractions include go-karts, bumper cars, a big slide, and mini golf. I actually rode the go-karts because my daughter does not know how to drive and it was so much fun. I haven't drove a go-kart in many years and even after all these years it's fun. The wait time on all the attractions was like 2 minutes tops. There were not wait lines to play any of the games. The cost is not cheap tho, especially if you have multiple children. There is no admission fee but you pay for the game card that's used for the attractions and games. I purchased the platinum card which came with 3 attraction rides and 60 game credits for $30.00. This may sound like a lot of game credits, but if the game you choose cost 36 credits this is nothing. I made the mistake of not reading the Game amount assuming they all fell in the range of like 3-8 credits. WRONG!! VR games, which I guess are popular now and with the kids run you 20 credits and up just for one game. This can get very expensive. You can also reload/add more credits to your existing card if you run out, which range from like $5-$20 I think. So yeah, this place can definitely get costly if you have multiple kids and you spend hours here. They also have food, which I must admit the options were great and the food was fresh to order. I ordered the nachos and my daughter and her friend had the kid cheese pizza/fries. I paid $6.99 for my half order of nachos, which still was a lot and looked like a full order to me, and $6.99 for the cheese pizza that came with fries and a beverage. They also have adult beverages, which is very nice! It was also orderly and did not appear to have issues with any riff raff and I can see why because they don't have regular security guards, they have real police here protecting, so I am sure that's a determent if anyone had any stupidity to come to mind while here. It also make you feel safe coming here with your kid(s). The place is super clean/no smells and they enforce Covid protocols and you must wear your mask here at all times, unless you're outside or in the eating area. Overall my daughter had a great time and so did I, but spending $100 in 3 hours for a play date doesn't make you wanna run back real quick. read more

I purchased a groupon pre-covid and decided to visit the park before it expired. The park made major changes due to COVID-19 but it became crowded in the mid-afternoon. It was hardly any space to social distance as they were kids and teens everywhere! All guest were required to wear face mask but some (i.e. adults) choose not to wear them while indoors. I understand the kids taking off their mask or not properly wearing a face mask but adults know better! I spotted the staff wiping down the games. My recommendation is to arrive early when they open to avoid the crowd. read more

I am absolutely head over heels for the Cobb salad at this place. Not to mention, the wings and pizza are good options as well. Most people only come to bring their kids or to attend birthday parties but sometimes I go just for the salad. The incorporate the perfect amount of each ingredient and it makes for an incredible salad. 10/10 would recommend!! read more

I haven't been here in many years and the first i'd want to say is that this place has completely changed and had a complete overhaul. They got rid of the play place I used to play in all the time, got rid of all the old games and got much newer ones, got rid of tickets & coins and now use a card system. Not saying any of these changes are bad but this place still hasn't lost it's spark. I came here on a Friday Night for a friends party expecting this place to be a madhouse but honestly, it wasn't a madhouse, kids aren't walking all over you or acting rambunctious like they used too in the past. it's much cleaner too. This family Amusement Center is not too far from our house and Groupon was running a promotion where you had one ride of pretty much every attraction that they offer for about $15 a person which would be comprable of two hours of play but when we got inside we saw this play which they were running for about $25 a person they gave you unlimited rides on the popular attractions for two hours so pretty much was the same to do everything once took us two hours was about the same as the $25 and that they were charging inside the facility but anyway the facility has underwent some changes some upgraded especially the game room has been overhauled and all the games are more modern and up-to-date and colorful displays they vary in price from $0.90 all the way up to 3 $4 per play. My family and I went about 7 p.m. and we started off with the miniature golf 18 holes nothing special quite a few people ahead of us but we still got through the game and his various twists and turns and water falls in interesting decor. Now the race cars in the tracks themselves have not been updated my car which I had the Toy Story car was malfunctioning the whole time and I literally had my foot push to the metal the whole entire three or four laps around the track those cars definitely need to be updated and the track needs to be a little bit longer or let you have more laps because once you finally get the car going at a smooth steady Pace your ride or your turn is pretty much over they have a three or four story superslide I would say that you put you lay out and you slide down a ramp pretty much that was a new addition I've never seen that before they also have carnival ride addition that just rides you around in a circle Boring. But it got us out of the house something to do something engaging something fun for under $60 for 3 people so which was well over two hours or entertainment so I think that it was worth it we did not eat any food there is plenty restaurant to choose from. They recently updated and changed their name. In the process they have made this place impossible to afford if you stick to a budget. The games are VERY expensive and the prizes are cheaper than the normal and the quality of the games are just blah. They use to have some fun things older kids/young adults could use (we once combined our tickets for a Ninja blender). We are sad to see the changes and keep trying to go there to spend our 15000 points but there is nothing good. This place is like D&B for kids. Lots of similar game and the atmosphere is similar. Much better than Chuck E Cheese for a kids party. Went her for my nieces party and had a really good time. They had a beer pong game! Lol. All of the hostesses were young cute Latinas and it made me wonder why I hadn't been here before! This place has AWESOME pizza! I was completely caught off guard. The pizza here is classic Chicago style thin crust and better than half of the pizza joints nearby. I'd actually come here just for a slice. Yes, they sale slices here. I have been going to this arcade for years. It is one of those fantasy arcades for serious gamers and thrill seekers. The prices for tokens is DIRT CHEAP! $25.00 for 100 tokens plus they give you bonus tokens when you pay over certain amounts. Many of the games run on an E-Ticket system so you don't have to worry about losing tickets. Now for the aforementioned thrill seekers: if you love watching those how to win tutorials on YouTube you will LOVE this arcade! The games that are worth mentioning are a Japanese style gem pusher game that is FILLED with candy, roughly about 20 claw machines (They even have a MONSTER CLAW!). a Japanese Mini claw, candy claw, Wizard of Oz coin pusher, Sponge Bob games, and a golden goose classic egg drop! Had a great time at In The Game Hollywood Park today. Our entire family really liked all the games. Many were updated since our last visit, and there are so many to choose from! I hate to be a Karen today but yesterday I was so disappointed with Hollywood Park. I always bring my daughter here to have fun, play games and I even had one of her birthday parties with them last year. I'm not sure how they are advertising a FREE Halloween trick or treating event but nothing was included or free expect a pink diary toy for boys and girls and 2 pieces of candy. That's all they got. Not to mention the haunted maze was an additional 6 dollars. Do better Hollywood Park. Don't get me wrong, I was prepared to have to spend money but I did at least expect my child to experience some fun Halloween trick or treating but it's clear the advertisement was just to get people in the door. This place has been around since possibly before I existed. It's gone through many changes, and I honestly assumed it was closed down. To my surprise it is up and muuccchh better than I can recall. The entire building looks like new. The attractions include bumper cars, mini golf, small roller coaster, super slide, and race track. I did them all!! & had a blast. So it's clearly good for all ages. We hosted a group of 40 in the upstairs party room and the service attendant was great. We had an absolutely wonderful time at In The Game, Hollywood Park. I contacted Lisa G. to plan an end of the year celebration for our school. We were able to rent the whole facility out just for our students/parents at a reasonable price, with a great package deal. Everyone had a blast. There were even staff members dedicated to helping our students/parents check in (Ashlyn L and Kara O) who were so friendly and helpful, just overall great customer service. The parents were extremely happy with this event. The facility was nice and very clean, the staff had great customer service, and even the food was excellent. I stumbled upon Hollywood park on our Roadtrip from Chicago back to Maryland. I really wanted to play laser tag (which btw they don't have) and ended up having a really awesome Friday night arcade/ laser maze/ mini golf spree. Since laser tag wasn't an option we inquired about riding go karts because they were only like $7! Unfortunately it had rained earlier making the tracks unsafe so we decided on mini golf instead. After playing for a good hour in the arcade, my 3 friends and I grabbed some drinks from their concession stand and played 18 holes of mini golf. Their mini golf course was really cute and well kept. I was pretty stoked that the price of their beer and wine was cheaper than an average bars price because after all it was Friday night ;) . I paid about $4 for a glass of wine and my friends all got $3 beers. I also paid for all of our mini golf which ended up being only $28. We took some silly pictures in their photo booth and even gave the laser maze a shot (it was $2 and totally worth it). There were adults and children alike partaking in the Friday night fun at Hollywood park. There were 2 children's birthday parties going on while we were there and it looked like everyone was having a blast. The prize selection is crazy ! They had everything from your low ticket candies, plastic parachute men, stuffed animals and toys to high ticket items like collectible figurines, autographed memorabilia, George Forman grills and margaritaville margarita machines! I wish I had a Hollywood park near me! Btw it gets its name from the "Hollywood" theme decor. The whole Game Center is decorated with major motion picture murals and museum-like exhibitions of tons of movie props. They had the slot machine straight out of Bedrock from the Flintstone movie, and a huge life like hulk statue ! On weekends they close at midnight, and I would definitely recommend this place for a night out of fun for kids, parents, and big kids at heart. Pro tip: awesome first date idea. read more

We went and played Mini-Golf and thank goodness the course is big Kate was hitting her balls everywhere but into the hole. It was nice to see that they were not going into the water every time. If fact none went in the water. The games were OK, 3 times we had to call the attendant and some kid left the jump rope game with it owing him/her 199 tickets. It owed the 3 of us 217 after we played. Had to wait to long for the repair dude to put in my tickets so they only get 4 stars. PS. Three of us played for about 30 mins on $10 and had a lot of tickets that we handed to a nice little girl whos eyes lit up when Glenn handed her a pile of tickets as big as her head! read more

I was here again in the summer with the family, and the new addition is the gamecards. Wait, did I say gamecards? let's try it! I bought along a little high school graduation cash with me ($5.75), put it in the gamecard dispenser, and I waited, and waited, AND WAITED, and my gamecard didn't come out like it was supposed to, so that was my cue to call an attendant and still get my tokens, but no gamecard. oh well, maybe next time. Onto the games. When I played Time Crisis 3, the screen was a little dark, but I still managed to complete the game. would've done better if the screen was at it's regular brightness, but never mind. As for House of the Dead 2, the game's calibration was having a bad day. Wuh-oh. Now for the outside attractions. I went on the go-karts, and saw that you can pay with gamecards. DANG DISPENSER! But I still went on. and that's all she wrote. So the next I come back, I'd like to take another shot with the gamecards dispenser, if it's still there.
