I'm a little miffed. Been coming here for many, many years with good results overall. They have been accommodative to my special requests and have terrific hygienists. Recently had a procedure done and was told only after I was sitting in the chair for the appt, about to be numbed (NOT during the 6 separate email and text alerts about my upcoming appt) that they don't have a 3D Xray machine, so the x-rays they took initially that determined there was a problem might not show how extensive or deep my problem is and therefore this procedure may not work. In the chair, about to be numbed. Not the time to spring this on someone. You inform someone before the appointment so they can go get a 3D x-ray somewhere else and make an informed decision. Not happy. It's a good way to push a loyal, 20+ year patient out the door. read more

Bait and Switch is the new standard practice at this office. Apparently, the highly qualified Staci Sikora, DDS who I was very happy with seeing for the past year or so is no longer seeing patients, which I was only told after a much younger and very inexperienced dentist who introduced herself only as Amy (spelling unknown since she is not one of the dentists on the website, see image from this office's website below) questioned her judgement from my last appointment and recommended invasive work well before it may or may not be necessary. When I questioned her judgment and indicated that I would wait until my next set of x-rays in 6-months to make any decisions, she stormed out saying that she didn't appreciate my attitude. Here is what I don't appreciate: 1. Made to wait 15 minutes for an appointment...which happened today. 2. Not being informed before my appointment with her (even though I received multiple digital reminders of the appointment) that my highly qualified dentist, whose judgement I trust, was no longer seeing patients...which happened today. 3. Having MY judgement about MY dental care being questioned by an inexperienced "professional" who seemed more interested in how many additional services she could sell me on rather than respecting what I believe is best for MY dental care...which happened today. 4. Having a "professional" act like a petulant child...which happened today. I guess it's time for me to find a new dentist, hopefully I will have a better experience than I had today. read more

Staci Sikora, DDS - Bait and Switch...at least one of these dentists are no longer seeing patients at this office and her replacement was abysmal. - General Dentistry Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I've been coming to this office for years. Sandy is the first face you see when you walk in she always wants to know what's going on, they always make me feel like family. Every visit is a good one, the staff goes over and beyond to make sure I receive great service everytime. I would recommend them to all of my friends and family. I give them a 10 outta 10. Had a wonderful experience! I feel like nobody has every explained things to me as well as this dentist did. Staff is highly professional all around. My cleaning was painless and I'm looking forward to continuing care here. read more

One of the best dentists I've been too. Great quality of care and the nicest front desk staff. Highly recommend.

I've had a lot of dental work done here, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. You feel so well taken care of from the minute you walk in. Sandy greets you by name when you arrive, and you never wait long to be seen. All of the staff are very friendly and skilled -- and they listen to you. I don't have dental insurance, and the costs here are very fair. I highly recommend Sikora Dental. read more

New to Chicago I needed to find my new dental home. After reading all the positive reviews for Dr. Sikora's office I booked an appointment. I walked in to a beautiful office and very accommodating staff. Visit was quick, yet thorough. The hygienist did a phenomenal job and Dr. Sikora was very thorough and gentle during my exam. All of my expectations were met and I already booked my next cleaning. Glad to call Dr Sikora and Associates my new dental home! read more

They are the greatest. I was a confirmed don't-go-to-the dentist person for a long time. Blessed with relatively good teeth. But one of my colleagues was going there, so I gave it a try. About 12 years ago. And going ever since. Friendly, professional attitude where I actually get the impression that they genuinely care about my teeth, as well as the rest of me. For people working downtown anywhere near the Board of Trade building, this is just way easier than making an appointment out in the burbs. Sandy really stands out, at least to me, even though I think I've been calling her Sandi in my emails to her for years, asking for an appointment on a short-term basis. Sorry, Sandy - you were too polite to correct me, but most of the people on this Yelp review call you by your proper, truncated name. So I had to look it up on your website. You got me most of those appointments anyway. read more

The team at Staci Sikora makes going to the dentist enjoyable! They are always on time and always friendly. I was able to get in quickly when I needed a repair. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Simply the best!!! They helped my chipped tooth look brand new! What a relief to have a smile back look back to normal! Thank you!

I have been visiting this place for over a year now. The dentist are knowledgeable and the place is neat. The office staff is fantastic, specially their office manager Sandy. She goes above and beyond to help the patients. I was visiting in NYC on 4th July weekend when i developed a severe tooth ache. Being a long weekend it was challenging to find help. Sandy worked with me to send antibiotics to nearby pharmacy and followed up with me the entire time until I was able to go back to Chicago .She accommodated me the very next day as I was in acute pain and needed to see the dentist asap.My tooth ache had escalate rapidly, and I am grateful to Sandy for going out on a limb to help me out. Thank you, needless to say I am super happy with my dentist and the services provided. - Sejal read more

A wonderfully friendly staff, offers excellent care. The moment you enter their office, you can sense the professionalism. Their hygienists, I have had Jessica and Lauren, are excellent. The front desk staff and especially Sandy provide exceptional service. Dr. Das has truly taken great care with all of my dental needs. read more

I very rarely leave reviews, so it should tell you something that I feel the need to sing Dr. Sikora's praises from the rooftops. I've been going for several years and have seen several of the dentists there -- for both routine and emergency procedures -- and I've had nothing but excellent experiences. The front office staff is always helpful and personable too. Come for the care and compassion, stay for the delightfully ghoulish waiting room art. read more

I have been going to Dr. Sikora's office for a long time now (over 10 years) and have always been impressed with the professionalism of her staff and the treatment I have received. The new location is beautiful with up-to-date equipment and dentists who are current on new dental techniques. Sandy keeps the office running like clockwork, and it is always a pleasure getting my teeth cleaned here! read more

Wanted a dental office close to work, to make cleanings easier (and excuses less so). Had a great cleaning experience. I hadn't been to the dentist in (ahem) much too long. They worked with my insurance, and the whole visit was really reasonable. Dr. Fisher is AWESOME, and really put my mind at ease about a broken filling I need to get filled. The office staff respond quickly and via email and are incredibly helpful. I had to go back and forth with my insurance on getting my upcoming filling covered, and they were responsive and understood my need to reschedule. I'm not looking forward to my filling, but I know I'm in great hands. read more

We were in FL for a few years and we are so happy to be back at Dr Sikora's office. Staff is very competent and friendly. We love Sandi, the office manager, she makes your visit flow as easy as possible! They're new offices (new about 4 years ago) are really nice. I highly recommend! read more

If you're looking for a dentist that is professional, friendly, and comforting, this is the place to visit. A few years ago, my mom was undergoing a dental procedure at another office that went wrong and ended up in the hospital. Since then, I've been terrified to go to the dentist, but recently came to the realization that it was time to go. I found this office through my insurance website and decided to give them a try after seeing all their positive reviews on here. From the moment I walked through the door, everyone was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. Despite my fear of going to the dentist, everyone who worked with me was super sympathetic and didn't judge me for not having been to the dentist in so long. They walked me through every step of my visit, answered all of my questions, and made the experience more pleasant than I could've ever imagined. I have to make a follow up appointment for another cleaning and look forward to doing so. read more

Absolutely the most professional dentist office I have ever been to. The staff genuinely cares about their patients and providing the best service possible. I used to dread and hate going to the dentist, now I absolutely look forward to it. They do an amazing job with cleanings and fillings and communicate very effectively as they are going through the process. Also there is no teeth shaming lol. It's an excellent office with excellent people! I highly recommend! read more

This is a great place. Their work is very good AND everyone is very kind and patient.

Easily the nicest most nurturing dentist office I've ever set foot in. I got a rather unpleasant call from my dentist and wanted a second opinion so I stopped in here since it's right by my office. Sandy, the front desk girl was an absolute doll and SO nice to me. I was a tad upset and she calmed me down and brought me back to earth. They squeezed me in for some xrays and a quick exam and made me feel much better. I met with Dr. Rachel Cohen and Jen the hygienist. Seriously, from the front desk all the way through this was an amazing dental experience....and when does anyone say that about the dentist?!?! read more

Recently switched jobs to downtown and as much as i loved my dentist in the suburbs, i had a lot of work that needed to be done, and i needed a dentist in the loop for easier scheduling. I went straightly based off of yelp reviews and i couldnt be happier with this office. Bonus points as the dentists are from Texas (i lived there 10 years), but the staff has been incredible. They make you feel like family. I have a small mouth and it causes problems, but they were gentle and have been just amazing. They have a convenient location and I have not had an issue with scheduling appointments. I've been seeing Dr. Fisher for my work and she has an excellent bedside manner and explains what she's doing and why. As long as I continue to work in the loop, I will continue going to this office. read more

I had two appointments with Dr Preeti Das, first a regular cleaning and check up then the next week to get a couple fillings done. All of the staff was super helpful and took the time to walk through my options for fillings and explain what was going on with my teeth. I didn't feel any pain during the fillings and Dr Das was very meticulous and checked in along the way to make sure everything was feeling ok. Highly recommend! read more

The best dentists in Chicago! The best receptionist in Chicago, Sandy, is employed here! The staff is very courteous and take great care to explain all of the procedures. The new camera is pretty cool as well. The hygienist will show you on the monitor the status of your teeth. If you are looking for a dentist in the loop, I highly recommend Dr. Sikora! read more

My overall experience was very good here. The front office staff as mentioned by others is VERY good, knowledgeable and proactive. Something you don't see much at offices anymore. They go above and beyond to help you. Which I think is a plus. I don't live near there anymore and have since changed dentists. But I would not hesitate to go back to them. read more

An office so friendly/comforting/professional and inviting that it removes any fear/apprehension you might have about going to the dentist. Like all the previous reviews have said, everyone here is super friendly and make you feel at ease during your whole visit. The facilities themselves are very nice, the equipment seems to be state of the art, with digital imaging devices. But beyond the gizmos and more importantly, the staff takes their time with you. They explain everything they are doing and not only what you should do for maintenance but why you should do it. Hands down the best dental experience I have had. I have recommended the office to several peers and their expectations have been blown away. An added benefit is they are conveniently located in the CBOT, for anyone that works in the loop its an easy mid day lunch break to squeeze a check up in. read more

These guys amazed me. I had been really bad, and hadn't gone to the dentist in a couple of years. I was a bit apprehensive about my first visit back to "the chair", but from the moment I walked in Sandy made things an absolute pleasure. Friendly and smiley, she was a welcome change from the all-too-common "I hate my life" office manager. And the experience with the rest of the staff was just as good -- Paul was friendly and helpful, Cindy was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and just plain great at what she does, and Dr. Limardi was great as well -- friendly, thorough, knowledgeable. What more could you ask? In addition to all that, these guys have a state of the art practice -- and they used the technology not only to make their jobs easier (and more efficient), but to involve me (the patient!) in explanations of what's going on. Top notch. Lastly, Sandy went out of her way to help me understand some various options available to me for dental insurance -- she was incredibly communicative, and was responding well after hours to my e-mail inquiries. Highly recommended in every regard! read more

Sikora and Associates is amazing. My teeth were a mess (no, really. a mess) and Dr. Matesi has helped me fix them! Wonderful service, great efficiency, and great overall professionalism. I cannot recommend them enough. The staff is amazing! read more

I am extremely satisfied with the care I receive from this team. The Hygienists are some of the nicest girls I have met! They do an extremely thorough cleaning and exam so that you can make informed decisions in the event there is something that needs to be addressed. Sandy their Office Manager is top notch, she is welcoming, knowledgeable and even more importantly, very respectful of your time! I have been coming for over 5 years now but wished I would have found this YELP worthy practice sooner! I only wish they were in the suburbs so I could bring my kids to them too! read more

I've never had customer service at a dentist like I do at Sikora and Associates. The turnaround time for a response via email is amazing. They work great with a professional schedule so whether you need a morning, lunchtime, or after 4 pm appointment they will provide you a few dates and times so you can choose the best for you. They also send a confirmation email when you book the appt and a few days before as a reminder. I recently switched jobs and wanted to schedule my appointment with them but haven't received my cards in the mail yet. They went into the insurance system and updated all my information so if I didn't have my cards by my appt date it was still ready to go. I thought this was such a great customer experience. Also, what I love the most is that every one there is really friendly and unlike other Chicago dentistry offices they do not try to sell you on unnecessary purchases. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a dentist. read more

These guys are the best!! I had 2 cavitys done, it was so confortable that i dozed off a little They even send you a follow up email to see how you are feeling. They explain every step of the process. Great staff! read more

Simply amazing. I've had one cleaning and three cavities filled so far, in two visits, and they did a great job each time. My second visit was yesterday with Dr. Matt Ellison and my top right newly-filled teeth fit perfectly with the bottom. So, thanks for that, bruh. They have an extremely clean office and use only the fanciest - maybe even the shmanciest - of dental instruments. I felt very comfortable during both visits, including the extremely thorough cleaning I received the first time around. It resulted in some sore-ass gums. That was my bad, though. Apparently you're supposed to floss more than four times a year. Absolute best customer service you will find in a dentist's office. The staff and assistants are fantastic - besides being polite, friendly, and generally likeable people (in my opinion at least, and I think most people suck, lol), they strove to provide the best experience possible. When I arrived I felt like they were genuinely excited to see me... Endearing. The impetus for me writing this review was that it's Saturday morning and I just received a follow up email from the Office Manager Sandy Bui's iPhone asking me how my teeth were feeling. Call em up! read more

Just had my first cavity filled, and it was almost pleasant when done by Dr.Sikora's associate, Dr.Eldeen. She was very sensitive to any apprehension or pain I felt. The whole staff is informative about what's going on-even during a routine cleaning-which puts many people at ease. They are quick, painless, and extremely knowledgeable, taking time to notice warning signs, discuss preventions, and answer questions. Hands down the best dentist experience I've had. It's also nice that they communicate and schedule by email--no waiting on hold or getting a machine. read more

Wow I never thought I would enjoy going to the dentist!!!! Just visited Dr Sikora this afternoon, what a wonderful experience, the highlight of my week. I would rate the entire practice five stars. Sandy, who manages the office, is a delight to work with. Very informative, helpful and engaging. read more

Did I really just give a dental office 5 stars? As someone with major dental fear, stemming from years of orthodontia and a semi-botched jaw surgery, I surprise myself. Yet the lovely gentle women of Sikora Dental deserve it. I had a dental emergency a few weeks ago. I searched for a nice dentist that would take my fears seriously. I found Sikora dental online and sent an email at 10pm hoping for an appointment the next day. An hour later I had a response from Sandy and an appointment the next morning. Just went back for a temporary crown. Dr. Limbardi and her assistant were great as were the Bose headphones they gave me to plug into my phone to listen to music. I am headed back in two weeks for the final crown. Given my dental anxiety I would be lying if I said I was looking forward to it, but I'm not dreading it either which speaks volumes. read more

Great Dental Group! Very friendly staff. Everything is explained well with pictures!! Definitely the most high-tech dentist I've ever been to. They take digital pictures of your teeth and gums to literally show you any problems or things to keep an eye on. It is very interesting to see your teeth that close! Really makes you take better care of them though! Sandy at the front desk can answer any insurance questions! They are located in the loop and they take lunchtime appointments which is awesome! Overall, the best dentist I have ever been to and I have had some favorites. read more

I needed a dentist in the city after going to the same dentist in the suburbs my whole life- this one is conveniently located near my work. Smaller office than I expected but very clean. Stacy is awesome! So is the rest of the staff! They all seem like they have a good working relationship and make you feel really comfortable. Stacy confirmed that my insurance would cover my visit and I felt confident this office was not going to up-charge me or mess up my billing- which I was very concerned about based on reviews of other dentist offices. I actually look forward to going back in six months because it was such a good experience. read more

I was a first-time patient who called in the middle of the night because I was in so much pain with my back molars. I didn't leave a message because I was in too much pain to even speak, so I waited it out until the morning. I called again as soon as they opened, and heard "I'm so glad you called back, I saw you called really late at night, how can we help you?" From there it was a whirlwind! I was seen right away as an emergency (that day an hour later), was referred to a great place to get my now emergency root canal(s) 'cause isn't that always the way, and it was all handled in a professional and timely manner. I'm happy to report I've finally paid off my dental work (which they were gracious enough to work with me on). That's just the story. Each time I go in I'm greeted with a friendly smile, everyone is kind, patient with me, and although lighthearted, they take their jobs and your dental health seriously. I was desperate for a new dentist, heard good things and definitely, it was above and beyond I could have hoped for seeing as how I busted in calling crying in the middle of the night. They are now my go-to dentist for regular dental care! read more

Excellent service! This is what every dental office should be doing for its patients! Polite, prepared, highly professional and competent staff and amazing doctors and hygienists who actually take the time to examine you and discuss your needs with you before recommending a treatment plan.
