First off let me say I have been searching for a good alignment shop for a couple months now. I am so glad I found these guys on yelp. If you go in talk to Brian he really knows what he is talking about. He is a good listener and very helpfull. I recently installed a lift kit on my truck and was looking to get an alignment. The manufacturer had specific specs that they said would work well on this truck with their setup. Three other shops that I went to would not even consider looking at the info I was providing and said they knew what they were doing. They did not. Brian knew the manufacturer of the lift and considered what I was showing him. The way customers are talked to and treated is the ultimate factor in my decision of who I give my business to. Brian was very friendly and addressed all my concerns. I made an appointment for the alignment. They got it in right on time and completed everything I asked for in less than an hour. The lady in the office even offered my young daughter coloring books to pass the time while we waited. I was provided with a printout of the alignment specs which I asked for... something I had not seen at any other shop. Long story short this shop is awesome. Excellent service and quality of work! I brought my '99 Jeep Cherokee here for an alignment after replacing the majority of the front steering components. They took the time to go over everything I did and provided an excellent alignment. My Jeep now drives better than it ever did before. I made an appointment and they took my Jeep in almost immediately after finishing the paperwork, much different than other shops where you may sit for an hour before they even touch it. As I've probably said before, I'm not a frequent Yelper. I see too many complaints on Yelp from Wannabe Critics, and when I've complained, it was because I was really angry, not because I need a medium for my blog... That said, I really let the brakes on my Sequoia go beyond danger stage. In fact, the day we took the car in (yesterday), I nearly couldn't stop at the bottom of my driveway. So, finding a repair facility in relatively close proximity to my home was key. And yes, even though I don't often comment on Yelp, I have started to turn it to for recommendations. (Then I always check out the person who recommended it, just to be sure they seem legit) So I found Cheryl's review of Roger Daniel's Brake & Alignment - just off the 67 near Prospect, and it struck a chord with me, and I gave them a call. A very young, but exceedingly professional, young lady took my inquiry and promised to call back with an estimate. A short time later she called, answered my additional questions, and with a great feeling of confidence, I arranged to come in. After the petrifying drive to the shop, we were greeted by Tiffany (from the phone) and Roberta and Roger - the shop's owners. As it turned out, all three were friends with one of our neighbors just a few houses down. They offered us pizza (even before they knew our address) and made us feel comfortable - and confident - in a way that we hadn't felt since we moved to San Diego. (The smog guy near my office was great, but I didn't see him until I picked up my car.) They called once while working on the car to ask if they could rotate the tires, and then recommended an alignment (there are 5 speed bumps on my street - and I hit them pretty hard daily) for what I thought was a nominal fee. They also replaced some extra hardware, with permission, and the whole job came to just over their original estimate - even with the hardware replacement and alignment. This morning, when all the work was done, Roberta came and picked up my husband at home so that I would not have to drive all the way from Kearny Mesa again just to collect him. Now when was the last time a repair shop did that? When Joe picked up the Sequoia, he asked if they worked on other stuff too because the 323's been in the garage with a check engine light on it for about 14 months. Being a mechanic, I hate taking my car in and paying someone else for repairs. Unfortunately, I do not have an alignment rack so I took my car to Roger Daniel's for an alignment. They did a great job at a reasonable price. They were very professional and friendly. They seemed really busy, which is a good sign, so I did have to make an appointment. read more

Much thanks to Brian, Will and Roger on helping fix the suspension problem on my car that a few other auto repair shops could not even diagnose. They are friendly,courteous and very professional. It is rare nowadays to even find people like them who are honest and will get you options in finding the best solution for your car's repair without having to pay for an arm and a leg. Very good guys! SOOOO refreshing to have fellow jeep/off road guys work on the jeep instead of some dorky pepboy/firestone types. I went in there to get an alignment b4 I got some new tires and I knew a lot of what was already wrong with the jeep but didnt say anything. They found and spoke to me about all of them. Some were VERY minor... They are thorough!!!! As an aircraft mechanic I can't express enough the importance off great/honest/detailed work.... I had their work done a yr ago and I'm going back even when it's now out of the way because they are stand up guys who don't haggle or rip you off. I mean, who wouldn't be just wondering what gigantic horrific amount they were going to charge me. Great place! They were able to take me in as a walk-in, although I get the impression that they get so much business that appointments are almost a necessity. Very friendly people. (And that golden retriever...if I could add an extra star, I would!) They had a nice waiting area composed of a soft sofa and a couple of reclining sofa chairs. There was a tv, but it wasn't on. (It would only distract new from my phone, anyway.) Thought I'd take the opportunity to grab lunch at nearby Estrada's Mexican food. When I got back, it was only a 10 minute wait at most. The cost was more than reasonable and the tech spoke to me as though I was someone who would know what he was talking about. (I did, that's why it was refreshing to speak with him!) I have 2 other cars and would be happy to bring them here when the time comes. read more

Well I'm one of thoes people that love to find thoes people that know what there doin are very honest , and fair . Well i found them !!!! I was recommended to Rogers shop and his wife Raberta , and Brian all 3 and there crew where hands down very professional ,knowledgeable in there industry, and not out to sell you something you don't need . I got a new set of tires and referred to Roger for a alignment and service and I've always herd thies things could be costly $$$$$ well they where fast they use old school technology and new school technology both . And I expected to get a big bill well I was surprised first they had a air conditioning in there waiting lounge, lazy boys , clean and nice bathrooms , water and a couch and all nice and clean . When that where threw with my Yukon ( witch didn't take very long at all ) the bill was VERY !!! Fair and reasonable. Much surprised it was under $100. WHAT!!!!!! Yep under a $100 and got a good clean bill of health . This after another auto shop I went to first told us we needed like $2500 worth of work yep $2500 !!!! I took my Jeep Patriot here after I had a lift installed on it and the first alignment shop gave up trying to get it in spec. Knew I was in the right spot when I walked in and saw all the Jeep/4x4 paraphernalia in the shop. It did take a while, as it was a tough job, but they managed to get everything in spec, explained everything from what the alignment ended being to the effects of the lift on the existing suspension components, and even charged me a bit less than was quoted! I had taken my 2002 Lexus IS 300 to the Lexus dealership, two automotive shops, and another alignment place - and none of them could find the problem. I spent nearly a year trying to solve driveability problems with my 2002 F-350 4x4. Roger Daniels was recommended by a co-worker and I have to admit I didn't hold out much hope. The truck was lifted and I had replaced EVERYTHING in the front end to no avail. I spent only 15 minutes talking to Roger before I knew I had finally found the right place.
