Pharmacist are doctors who are not treated with respect. I'm always surprised how people walk in and talk to them like they are beneath them. People don't complain when they wait at Doctors office. Just easier to do so when the pharmacy in a retail environment is expected to "do things right now" It really is simple. Understand your insurance plan and preferred pharmacy within the plan=lower copays. Proactively assess the pharmacies intake and give them time to fill it accordingly. Bad reviews sound like Karen's and Kevin's. I had a great experience and didn't feel the need to rush the staff with their shortages. Bless their hearts.

Long wait times are the norm--even when I've been notified that my prescription is "ready," I often arrive only to find it's not. There have been multiple occasions where I received fewer pills than prescribed, and when I called to ask about it, the pharmacist actually hung up on me. Even more frustrating, they've repeatedly failed to correctly bill my insurance--using the wrong code month after month. As a result, I have to call ahead every time just to ensure my prescription is ordered and covered, only to be told my insurance won't pay (when it actually does, if properly billed). I was prescribed a medication in May and didn't receive it until June due to this same ongoing issue. It's completely unacceptable and shows a clear lack of accountability. The drive-thru has now been closed for over five months with no communication or solution offered. Inside, the lines are long and slow-moving, and the staff often seem overwhelmed and disorganized. If you choose to fill your prescriptions at this location, be prepared to make repeated phone calls, double-check everything, and still risk not getting what you need on time. This place has gone from inconvenient to completely unreliable.

After I switch pharmacies CVS continued to bill Medicare for prescriptions I had been getting from another pharmacy. They claimed to have run-out of many but still continued to bill Medicare. They do tend to talk a lot to their regular customers so that kind of holds up the lines. I hate having to wait 10-15 minutes just to get a tub of ice cream. Yes...the lines does get long. This is also pretty much the only pharmacy that I've been to where people isn't there to get medicine (or Thrifty'a ice cream). The long lines are usually with customers holding a six pack of beer or other hard liquor. It can be 6 in the morning and I see people coming into the store for their beer....as well as 6pm with people rushing in to get their alcohol. They must be desperate to get their drinks on because the prices are so much cheaper at Costco or even Stater Brothers. (Haha)
