I had recently done shopping in the plaza where this rite aid was. I went to family dollar and I'm assuming the sticker alarm from family dollar set off their metal detectors when I walked into rite aid. Employee jackie was in the front of the store the whole time during register when I was done at the other register I left the store and beeped once again. Jackie the employee left outside of her register to yell at me to accuse me of stealing. Once I told her I beeped when I first came in she kept denying it as if she had any physical proof of me stealing. I HAD BOUGHT 3 things from this place. Ridiculous she didn't know I got checked out by the other employee Keira. Someone needs to tell her how the law works. read more

I've been a Rite Aid Pharmacy for at least or over 20 years. In all those years I've been on pain medication prescribed by my physician. I had been on Norco 10-325 for all of that time until my Dr changed my medication to Oxycodone 10 mg 4 times a day. The same dose and the same 4 times a day. After being on Norco for so long I felt that the medication needed to be changed because it's not effective any longer and my doctor agreed and changed my medication. I have no idea why the Percocet as changed to now be called Oxycodone and with that changed a whole new attitude towards this medication comes with all these new preconceived notions that only drug seeking, being treated like a (street kinda) drug addicted a low life and that I do not need this medication. This change in medication is the normal next step in dealing with my life long diseases causing severe daily pain 24/7 365 and their is no cure. I also work with my doctors in alternative treatments, tests being prodded over after all of it nothing helps and I will continue to work with my doctors. Since this change with the same Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 1735 E Walnut Ave, Visalia California I am being harassed by the Pharmacy staff when it comes to questions and getting the medication prescribed to me by my doctor and even harassed by one of their physician calling me and suggesting that I go to another pharmacy. This was highly prejudice and makes me feel like I am a nuisance, drug seeking and a drug addicted. No one should ever have to go thru this also with their Pharmacy too! I don't want to change pharmacies. This Rite Aid is close to where I live and they have a drive thru which with my disabilities makes it easier to use. I just want them to do their job and not harasse me almost every month. Some of my doctor appointments are before my medication is due and I rely on their texting me that it can't be filled until.....the day is texted to me and I expect it to be filled. I was on one of these physicians there telling me I've been getting my prescription filled on the 29th day and I shouldn't get my Rx filled until the 30th day. As far back as I can remember my pain medications have been filled on the 29th day. He was telling me in his math I should have some unexplainable amount like I'm stockpiling the difference or maybe he wants to say I'm doing something else with my medication. In my math getting my Rx filled 29th day that's only 4 pills a month I take. There are too many days a month that my severe pain is too much to handle, so yeah I can see how that can happen. If this harassment continues I will be forced to change pharmacies but again i don't want to and I'm assuming that who ever is in charge of having your pharmacies run off paying customers. If I have to resort to changing pharmacies I will take my complaint as far as I can to hopefully this won't happen to anyone else! I spent 25 yrs of my life being a critical care RN and my symptoms became too much for me to continue and I had to go on disability. Just don't use Rite Aid if your reading this and have to take the prescribed pain medications because you too might fall into their harassment too. Donna Adams ​ read more

I waited 15 mins for someone to show up to the ice cream, the girl at the register had to call someone over the announcements 4 times and still no one came until she called someone by name to come. Thrifty's ice cream!!! This is what I always think about when I see a Rite-Aid Pharmacy. This location is very clean and organized. The staffs are super nice and friendly. They do tend to talk a lot to their regular customers so that kind of holds up the lines. I hate having to wait 10-15 minutes just to get a tub of ice cream. Yes...the lines does get long. This is also pretty much the only pharmacy that I've been to where people isn't there to get medicine (or Thrifty'a ice cream). The long lines are usually with customers holding a six pack of beer or other hard liquor. It can be 6 in the morning and I see people coming into the store for their beer....as well as 6pm with people rushing in to get their alcohol. They must be desperate to get their drinks on because the prices are so much cheaper at Costco or even Stater Brothers. (Haha) read more

This is directed to the unprofessional, embarrassment pharmacy in rite aid. I am beyond infuriated. They call me and tell me they needed my insurance number and so I gave it to them and tell me my anxiety meds will be ready in 30 mins an so I show up an hour later and they tell me they don't have my anxiety meds and it will come tomorrow. You could've called or how about while taking my info you tell me if it's available. Anyways, I show up the next day and I pick up my prescription, only to get home and find out My anxiety meds are missing. I call and they tell me they never received a prescription for them. Are you kidding me ? We spoke specifically about my anxiety meds. What do you mean you don't have it ? For those that have pharmacy needs, or depend on daily medicines, avoid the hell out of this place. read more

This store is very close to my house, so we frequent it for the Pharmacy and for odd items we may need at the last minute. The store is almost always clean, stocked and well-organized. The customer service always seems friendly and helpful. The Pharmacists don't seem thrilled to be doing their job. Anytime I ask for recommendations or questions about my prescriptions they seem to be uninterested. They aren't mean or rude, just lackadaisical. read more

Garbage ass facility. These people make absolutely no sense. They have western union services. With all guidelines clearly posted. But if it's been a slow day for them. Than western union is pointless. I had a 1000 wire. And they told me they gone have that much money. I asked why do they have the service if they can't provide the service. The manager just said that they are sent everything and have no idea about anything else. Made us re call wu. Had everything done. Than told us that we can get 500 cash. And come back for the rest later. Which is pretty ghetto if you ask me. The line was like 8 people deep. All frustrated and the manager leaves the one lady who is at the register to help the people that literally just walked in to get their ice cream for them. Like the 8 people who have been waiting in line for 15 minutes don't matter. It's a mess in this store. They need new management who knows what customer service is. And don't provide services such as western union. Money orders and such if your a Mickey Mouse store who doesn't have cash on hand. read more

Awesome people and management can be busy at times but being the only rite aid around with the best deals busy is understandable. The customers are most understanding when it comes to waiting for ice cream. There are some customers that go into the store demanding and yelling management takes it very well and makes sure they are very professional at what the issue is. read more

Yaaaaay first to write a review. This place is right across the street from my house. So I come here everyday but mostly early n the mornin or super late at night. I like the store and they have deals often its the associates I don't like so much lol and almost all the time the lines will b long as hell but there will onli b one or two registers open wtf. read more

There are really long lines but there is usually only 1-2 registers open. Just your typical Rite Aid though.

When you need some meds quick, you can get in and out perrty fast unless they tell you its going to be while at that time its time to bust out the camping equipment because its going to be a while. read more

Store is clean and organized, however I just came from there, I was looking for an ice pack, I should have figured they would be in the first aid aisle but I was half sleep and wasn't thinking properly. I seen one of the employees and decided to ask her where I could find one, usually I would just look harder but I wasn't feeling like doing that today, anyways I asked the lady and she replied "ice pack?" All confused I said yes, like for a sprained ankle (probably should have said a cold compress) but I didn't. So I asked again, she replied "first aid" rolled her eyes and turned away. I understand they had just opened and it's early but that is still no way to act towards a customer. That's my only complaint about this rite aid, lady that helped me at the register was very friendly greeted me, asked how I was doing and told to me have a good day. read more

Great customer service the employees are always so friendly and helpful. Its nice to have a pharmacy close to everything. I wish it had a drive thru but that's okay . Its a great store to get something you forgot however the lines are always long, they never open new lines to help. So the wait sucks most of the time.
