Food is so fresh and they have a great prepared meals section. The quality is SUPERB. The quality of meat is unsurpassed. The clerks are so helpful and the entire store is so clean and orderly.

Tidy, nicely organized Armenian supermarket downstairs from the Descanso Spa. So many choices and unfortunately I don't know what half of the items are, but well organized and the produce looked good. Because I had just done a big shopping for the weekend, I just picked up a couple of sweets, but will come back again another time.

Truly best grocery store! This city really needed fresh grocery store! Not only groceries but something for everyone! There are all kinds of goodies inside, from fresh prepared food, to Armenian bbq that is perfectly marinated, to fresh bread! The perfect and most delicious meats! Every time! I shop every Monday and Friday and always fresh! It is always so clean and smells clean! They have toy varieties for your kids! As well as pastries to alcohol and cleaning supplies! Perfect one stop shop! And the service WOW! They are really nice all the workers, they greet you with a smile and help you with taking everything to the car! Trust me you will not be disappointed! They even have ready made amazing food by the deli, for lazy days!

Sun Valley, CA I…read moreaccompanied my friend for some grocery shopping. I'm new to this area so I was surprised something like this exist in her neighborhood. Driving to the store is easy as well as finding a parking space. Plenty of blue placard spaces and I like that. Inside, it's one of those step-down markets, but it is clean, well -stocked, and organized. The produce section is neatly arranged, and everything looked fresh and good quality. Since it is an international grocery, you'll find products from all over, which is wonderful - catering to all the customers. Prices are a little bit on the lower side compared to other markets, so you get value for what you're buying. There's also a public restroom tucked in the back with a clear sign, which is always helpful. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth checking out.

For food, I would say this store is very cheap compared to other grocery stores. Produce is way cheaper than other stores in the area. Deli department can be a headache since some people cut the line and don't wait for their turn , even though, getting a number and waiting in line is required. If you are interested in buying international and domestic beer, wines, and liquor, this store has a huge selection of alcoholic beverages. For ambiance, I would say this store has improved. It is way cleaner than it used to be. Employees are constantly cleaning and mopping the store which is a plus. Be careful of the carts when walking around in this store. Parking is easy. This store has a big parking lot in the front and on the side.

Sunland Produce - Like any other store you need to know what is on sale. It's an old store but not the dirtiest.

From the moment I walked in, the customer service really stood out. I was approached by staff at least three different times, each one kindly asking if I needed help finding anything. It didn't feel forced or overbearing, just genuinely attentive and thoughtful. When I did have a question, I ended up speaking with the store manager, Justus, and he was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough in helping me. You can tell he really cares about both the customers and the store experience. That level of service is rare these days, and it honestly made my whole visit feel easy and enjoyable. It definitely left a lasting impression and makes me look forward to my next visit. Big thank you to the team for going above and beyond.

My Bread of choice is always whole grain. The sandwich is huge and cut in half. For an extra buck you can add chips and a water. Now, if you are in a rush they have pre made sandwiches of all sorts. Those are good too but not as good as a handmade one. Pro-tip they have cool kid lunches. Perfect for a field trip. Sprouts also has a self serve nuts/candy/dried fruits sold by the pound. Lots of organic and good for the soul stuff. I am a fan.

If you like cooking or experimenting, this place is a gem. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful--approachable without hovering, knowledgeable without being pushy. You get the sense they actually enjoy talking shop and helping people find what they need. If I had to split hairs, the POS system feels a bit dated, and having one more register open during busy moments would smooth things out. Nothing that ruins the experience, just small operational stuff. Overall, still an easy 4.5-star experience and a place I'm always happy to come back to.

I finally asked where's the tamales, not where's the beef??!! It turns out the tamales were just on the other side of the wall with almost as many veggie options as there were meat choices! I keep saying I'm a vegetarian, but I bought 6 chicken mole, 4 chicken with green sauce, and a bunch of chile cheese, bean and cheese, spinach and cheese! Sooo good with a balanced ratio of masa to filling. They have tamales every Saturday and I think Tuesdays and Thursdays as well. They are only $2.50 each. This will be my go to for feeding a crowd on short notice!
