I'm not a bowler, but I came here for the food on the recommendation of a friend. Not sure quite…read morewhat to expect, since it's a bowling alley. The bowling alley itself is rather noisy, but the restaurant has a door that blocks out most of the noise. The nice young lady behind the bar attended to me promptly, and I ordered a small 8" pizza (The Big Four) and just for giggles, a small order of mini-corndogs. Since I was on two wheels, I just had water. The corn dogs came out first, and they were better than I expected. Hot, fresh, corndoggy-ish goodness with mustard to dip them in. The pizza came out while I was chowing down on the corn-dogs, but it was still hot when I finished the dogs and moved on to the main dish. The crust was a mix of thin and hand-tossed, not overtaking the pizza but thick enough to hold the toppings. The sauce was good, the toppings were excellent, and between the two orders I spent less than $20. This place is a hidden gem if you're looking for fast good food without breaking the bank.

These guys do great, and boy do they get busy on the weekends. We had a double adult birthday here,…read morespecifically, because they have better food options than other surrounding alleys, and a full bar that pours some nice stiffies. The lanes are in great shape, and the lane sitting area is really quite beautiful, in a wood-antique(y) kind of way. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, and the alley hostess was a hoot! Easy to get to off the highway, very clean, and an overall excellent experience for us once-a-year bowlers...

We usually go to the restaurant but we've also bowled here before…read more The bowling alley experiences were mostly good but the music was too loud sometimes. The bowling nights were supposed to be social events but it was at times very difficult to hear the people we were trying to chat with (and I'm pretty sure my watch gave me at least one "it's too loud and that's bad for your ears" warning). I'd enjoy that volume way more if we were there to dance. I'm more comfortable in the restaurant so it's on our list of options when planning to go out for breakfast or dinner. They usually have some good beer options (menu available on untappd) and I've enjoyed their cocktails and mocktails. They do a good job with Bloody Mary garnishes. The downsides: - Take-out sometimes takes a super long time (even if you order online well in advance). - They recently took steak off their menu. We were bummed because it's one of the easiest things to get for my husband (food allergies) and on our most recent visit the whole reason we came was because a friend wanted steak (and eggs). - When you order fish & chips they normally ask which side you'd like and I usually pick coleslaw. This means I'm expecting fish & chips with coleslaw. What they deliver instead is fish & coleslaw. Sometimes I'm glad for the lighter meal but sometimes I really am craving some fries so it's annoying. I think I tried to talk to a waitress about it once but the conversation didn't go anywhere. I don't know if I'll order it a third time but I might be tempted to just because I'm curious to see what will arrive next time I ask for "fish & chips with coleslaw." We haven't explored their arcade yet. They used to also have a casino/card room but it closed in about 2025.

Good food but service was fairly slow. We had to wait about 15 minutes for fairly simple orders to…read moreget our food. Place was not overly busy.

Everyone we interacted with was helpful and nice. They take a lot of pride and care, you could tell. We got there for a 1pm reservation and got there about 15 minutes early so we could get everyone shoes figured out and food ordered. Rosa's Pizza is inside the alley. We got 2 large pizzas and everyone must've been big fans because there was not even as much as a leftover piece of pepperoni. It was hot and delicious! The bowling screens were new with easy, user friendly prompts and there were several types of games you can choose from. It wasn't a hassle to change the bumpers on and off either. You also get to choose a theme for your bid display bowling screen. We picked disco and ocean, the kids thought that was pretty cool. We used a ramp since we had a kiddo under 5 with us. It's also appreciated that they had 6 pound balls; sometimes we've been to "family friendly" places and they don't have the lighter weight balls because they jam up the pin gatherer or the gutters. Even with varying weights of balls being used on our lane for different ages, we didn't have any issues with the balls getting stuck, or didn't have to call at all for assistance resetting pins. The big display has a countdown on it for the amount of time you paid for and automatically shuts off the lane when you're done. We got done just a big birthday party was coming in and the staff turned all the lanes over very quickly. Will definitely be back again for more fun in the future. Side note: I forgot we had visited Cheney Lanes before in 2020 but it had all been updated and refreshed I didn't recognize it. They did a really good job in there.
