Michael came back from his lunch at 5:40pm, 20 minutes before they closed for the day. And managed to fix the cam lean and did a full retune of my bow within 20-25 minutes. He absolutely saved me, and made it to where I'm able to hunt the opener of ID archery elk. Now my fixed blade and mechanical heads touch my field points, whereas before they wouldn't get within 2" of one another. I seriously cannot recommend S.V.A. enough! Thank you Michael!

A couple buddies and I traveled from out of state to come to Spokane specifically to check out the…read moreshop with the intention of buying new bows and/or shooting the course. Showed up with a reservation in the morning and were immediately helped. One of us already had a bow reserved, so he was getting set up by Beckam while Michael set up a couple flagship bows for me to try out with the assistance of Joel. There would be people that came in and out of the shop or called which slowed the process a bit but nothing unusual or off-putting. The staff and the patrons were nice which gave the shop a very welcoming, pleasant vibe. We went through the options of bow accessories, traded in our old, bare bows, did some bow tuning and shot the course without having to make too many additional adjustments. We even came back the next day to shoot the course again. Foam targets were in good condition with assorted ranges, but it can be challenging retrieving arrows if you miss as much of the area is overgrown with tall grass, low hanging tree branches. Thank you, Michael, Beckam, Joel and the Spokane Valley Archery crew for the hospitality and helping us get our bows set up. We'll definitely find an excuse to fly out again. Hire Joel!

This was the best game in town to acquire those items. THE SETUP You don't see Sporting Goods stores like this in the Bay Area. Hell, not even in California. I felt like I walked into an outdoorsman's wet dream when I entered through the doors of this venerable establishment. OUR ITEMS It was a quick thing to find the rafts and the scuba gear we needed at this store. In doing some pricing at the sporting stores in Sacramento and Seattle, it appeared these purchases were a far better deal here in Idaho, by almost 30%-50%. [ Which makes the follow-up point obvious: if I ever need equipment in Idaho, DON'T BOTHER to buy it in California and take it up there - just wait and get it local - far better diversity and far far better pricing. GUNS Rifles with sniper scoping, pistols like refurbished Glocks, crossbows, dart guns, sling shots, refurbished (sub-machine?) repeating guns even. There is just about every personal weapon one could obtain to take into wilderness survival if they need it. TAXIDMERMY On every wall there were the heads of just about every wild game that rifles, crossbows, darts and slingshots could make their target in the local Northern Woods of the Panhandle of Idaho. Elk, Moose, Bobcats, Mountain Lions, Weasels, Ducks, Marlins, Sailfish, Salmon, etc. etc. Just about every creature of the Air, Sea and Land had it's representative stuffed and mounted here.
