Lots of kids making the food, one adult that I could see and she went out of her way to avoid me. Avoid.

I'll definitely be back. The bartender, I think his name was Justin. He was very helpful and…read morefriendly. He shook my hand and introduced himself. Outstanding. They were leaning heavily into Halloween so the place had spiderwebs and black stuff and witches everywhere, great for the kiddos. I got food to go. I got pastrami Rueben which was fire! The menu says stuff fried is fried in beef fat so I got two different types of fries. French fries and tater tots. Both delicious. Tater tots were great. Can't wait to try more food off the menu.

Lots more people enjoying their meal. We had about 10 people in our party and were seated right away as we called ahead. They have a great staff, every time we have been here with small or larger groups they handle service equally well. Do not skip the Brisket Egg Rolls! They are so good. The order comes with two egg rolls that are fairly large, I cut each in thirds to share with the table. They are filled with the brisket filling so that you get a good ratio of filling to wrapper. They come with a southwest ranch that is good, but I like eating them plain. Small salad was good. For my meal I went with the buffalo chicken pizza in the thin crust. It was really good, so different than what I usually order. Buffalo sauce, chunks of chicken, red onion, jalapeno's, and a ranch drizzle. I would order it again. Great service and great food consistently!

We recently came here for the second time and met some friends for dinner. It was their first time…read moreeating at the Twisted Tavern. Everything our group ordered was delicious! What really stood out to me was the service we received! I really appreciated not being rushed through our meal. The fact that they actually let you order your courses separately so they're not coming out on top of each other was refreshing. And even though it was a Friday night and there were others waiting to get in we weren't rushed to pay our bill but instead invited to take our time. We hadn't seen or heard much about their pizzas, but we were in the mood for one and decided to order the meat pizza. It was made in a brick oven and it was really tasty. Honestly there were so many toppings that we ended up asking for an extra cup of the marinara sauce to dip it in. The sauce is made in house, it was delicious and the waitress said it's the same one that's used with the spaghetti and meatballs. In regard to the pizza size even though they're considered personal pizzas it was definitely bigger than we were anticipating. I would say they're close to 11 to 12 inches in diameter. My husband and I each enjoyed two pieces with our salad and took the other half home with us. They are definitely big enough to share, especially if you're ordering an appetizer or a salad to go with it. Our group very much enjoyed the artichoke spinach dip. It came with bread that had been cooked in their brick oven and I love that the spinach was in bigger pieces. My husband, and I also shared the harvest salad which had butternut squash on it, candied pecans & goat cheese. It was really yummy. Others in our group enjoyed the salmon and the crispy chicken sandwich. I had recently seen on a local Jefferson County page that many people consider Twisted Tavern the best place for a good piece of cake specifically, their wedding cake . Truth is that was the primary reason why I suggested this restaurant to meet our friends at but sadly by the time we finished our meal and were ready to order dessert they had already sold out. We were told this does not usually happen. Overall, we found tasty fresh food made in house, great service and fair prices. I am already planning another visit to the Twisted Tavern (so I can try their wedding cake! ).

Spinach dip, onion rings, fried pickles, Brussel sprouts, and aside of spaghetti. The brussels sprouts were nicely fried, a little greasy. The fried pickles were lightly breaded, but very salty. The side of spaghetti was large enough to be a full serving. Wasn't overly impressed with the food, but the service here was top-notch.

There's limited seating inside and it seems like they do a large carryout and call in business. I think this may be a small franchise as there are several listed in the area. Service was a little frosty. She didn't offer any information about the products and I felt a little pressured to make a selection. The price was fairly low and she did say she could heat up my kolache if I wished, which I agreed to. It came out quickly. It was a cute little pastry, very uniformly shaped. The yeasty bread around the filling was very soft and aromatic, definitely my favorite part. The eggs were also a pleasant texture and very hot. I didn't detect much cheese and unfortunately I thought the bacon was 1) in very teeny tiny pieces and 2) slightly undercooked -- very chewy and still pale. I tried to eat around it. Overall, good pastry/bread and eggs. I'd probably try a different meat if I ordered one again. The sweet options are also interesting looking!

They microwave them but I was hoping they would be under a heat lamp or something for a more uniform warmth. I could see how this could be an issue so I wouldn't even consider this a real "complaint". 100% recommend this place for a tasty little lunch!
