Rod, the manager of the Cottleville location reached out with an offer I couldn't resist...to try their kolache. They are tucked into a little strip mall next to FireHouse Subs. I have had different forms of kolache, and at first I did not think I have had St Louis Kolache. After getting home and sinking my teeth into them I realized I had them during the pandemic. I worked as an ER nurse and someone sent them in for us - "supporting the Hero's". I was offered a random selection of items: sloppy Joe style, Mac-n-cheese, chicken, some type of sausage (maybe a brat of some kind) as savory selection. The sweet selection was a cinnamon roll, apple filled, s'more style, and a chocolate fudge crumble. My favorites were the sloppy Joe style, Mac-n-cheese (has bacon), the cinnamon roll, and the chocolate fudge crumble (not 100% sure on the name). The dough is enough to fill any carb addict's craving. An easy and quick snack or meal to grab on the go. Not a sit down restaurant, has a few tables available - but more for the grab and go. The location I went to in sits across from Mercy Kids clinic and right down the road from St Charles Community College. Location is great to grab a quick breakfast on the way to work or lunch while running errands. They close at 2:00 pm. Easy to reheat in an air fryer - 300 degrees for 5 minutes. Or a quick pop in the microwave. Stop in and give them a try. Let Rod know where you heard about his location: Yelp

Why choose between sweet or savory when you can have both? St. Louis Kolache - Cottleville is basically brunch in a box! We tried an assortment, and we were salivating at the spread -- from the hearty 'Merica (sausage, gravy, egg, bacon, hashbrown) to the seasonally fitting Apple Pie, it was impossible to pick a favorite. But if we had to choose our top contender? Spinach & Artichoke stole the show! With flavors like these, the only move is to grab at least a dozen!

So delicious with the kindest staff/owners ever!! The bread is so soft and sweet and everything is so well seasoned. Such a great vibe and place all around!!!

I have always loved everything. I've ordered here except for this last visit. My favorites are all of the breakfast kolaches, the jalapeño popper kolache, and the St. Louis style pizza kolache. I can't recommend the buffalo chicken kolache. I took it up to the counter and asked to exchange it for something different, and the two girls behind the counter nodded knowingly and gave me a jalapeño popper kolache in exchange. I asked them if they often gave this one returned and they said yes and that most people don't like it. It didn't taste like buffalo chicken to me at all, and the chicken was cubed and dry. I think it would be much nicer if the filling was more like a buffalo chicken dip consistency inside the kolache. The dining area is cute with a chandelier made out of whisks. I like that the soda machine allows for unlimited refills and they have diet Dr Pepper!

The staff is always friendly and welcoming when you walk in. The kolaches here are made from scratch daily, and you can taste the difference. They have a huge selection from sloppy joe, ham and cheese, and breakfast flavors, to apple pie, peach, and double chocolate brownies! There is something for everyone! The dough is soft and pillowy, with just the right amount of sweet or savory taste you are looking for! They have a few spots inside to sit if you're looking to sit down and eat your treats right away too.

Cute breakfast spot that an associate recommended that wasn't fast food. I was hoping the sandwiches were made to order but found everything was already made like a doughnut shop but now that I know what a Kolache actually is it makes sense now. The pastry was sweet and I ordered a ham, egg, cheese and jalapeño Kolache. The pastry was room temperature which I would have order sweeter had I known that. But after I heated it up it was good. The service was decent and I would try again.

Opening week review! While my tastebuds are dancing at the opportunity to have kolaches closer to me, my waistline and belt are cringing. Some of our absolute favorites: chorizo, American ... oh who am I kidding?! Our family loves them all!

So freaking good. This is my family's go to please for breakfast to go. The chorizo and egg is the best one! Especially warmed up.

The space itself is so cute, it's very intentional and aesthetic. The pink stripes, ceiling clouds, plant paintings on the wall make it so unique. They have a pretty extensive menu, and I ordered a Garden Muse salad and it was delicious. I'm really simple and when it comes to salads, as long as the ingredients are fresh I'm happy. This hit the nail on the head. I added chicken and that made it super filling. The dressing wasn't sweet (which I prefer) and it's safe to say this is one of my new favorite salads :) I also ordered one of the latte specials which was a birthday cake latte. They were accommodating with my order of half sweet, and it was so good! I can't wait to come back for brunch! I'm already looking forward to it.

We sat at an outside table and asked if the area around the table could be cleaned as there were a lot of bird droppings next to it. Unhealthy as well as gtoss! The manager came out and explained it can only be cleaned off with a power washer and that is done once a week. (Obviously not today!) She (manager) did cover the soiled area with a damp dish towel. When our order came out the food was mixed up on the plates---my eggs, husband's sausage, etc. The plates were removed and brought back out. Unfortunately the food was not as ordered and now too cool to eat as well as not prepared as ordered. We were offered a redo of our food but declined at that point. Sad to say we will not return.

I work remotely, so I decided to find a place with wifi that I can finish my work week while relaxing (Chillaxing) a bit. I came here on Friday mid-afternoon and was not disappointed in the least. The bartender (owner?) was friendly and helpful. The in-house Vails Brothers provided AMAZING wings. The Happy Hour was a cherry on top. This place is big with plenty of seating options. Large garage doors are opened up when it's nice, and it provided a lovely open air experience--and plenty of outdoor seating if you don't want a roof. Someone had a dog, so I imagine they are dog-friendly (outside). This was terrific, and I'm glad this is in my neighborhood. Thanks, Chillax!

Vibe was good with a mix of patrons - young, elderly, families. If you want beer, cocktails, etc head to the bar to the right of the door. Expansive beer list, cocktails, including mimosa flights, and drinks to go (in Capri Sun form). Food was quick, hot, and everything so good. I would def come back if we are in the area.

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. They offer counter service. The menu is fairly extensive offering the usual fare. I'm not much of a sweet breakfast person. I was happy to see they offer chilaquiles on the Mexican breakfast menu. They offer both red and green. I ordered my food and headed to the coffee bar and snagged a sear at the counter. My food came it quickly. I was served a beautiful plate of food complete with chilaquiles refried beans pickled onions and scrambled eggs. The eggs were a little overcooked for my taste. But all in all the meal was fantastic. The ambience is warm and cozy. The seating comfortable. The part that made the visit so memorable was the warm friendly service. I will be back soon to visit them for lunch. They had me at Al pastor nachos!!

They even kept the arched entryway that a customer built for Rok & Ocha of Crazy Sushi. You order at the counter and they give you a number and then bring your food out to your table really quickly. I ordered the biscuit combo breakfast, which was a split biscuit with gravy, two eggs and bacon or sausage and one piece of toast. I ordered multigrain toast, and that was the highlight of the meal, it was a high-quality piece of toast and was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly over easy, but the real disappointment was the biscuit and gravy. It was supposed to be sausage gravy, but it was clear that this came out of a can and was not homemade and the sausage was not existent. I would not order the biscuit and gravy again. After reading other reviews, I should've ordered from the Mexican offerings instead. I think next time I will try the divorced eggs or the chiliquilles.
