St. George's Row is right off St. George's Street in the historic district of St. Augustine. It's indoors and there's a/c. Tons of shops down this row with a restaurant at the end. Most of them are touristy type shops like the ones you find on St. George Street. I still recommend talking a walk down St. George's Row and checking out the shops; there's some interesting things to see. It's also nice to get out of the heat for a while, and it's also a nice place to pop into if it starts raining.

Old town St. Augustine is one of my favorite places to spend a random day alone or with family or friends. Tons of unique stores and local businesses to peruse through while trying world famous chocolate, popcorn, pizza and many other snacks and eateries. Make sure to bring your camera, good walking shoes, cards/money and a good attitude. Some of the establishments are quite touristy, but with a little planning you can save on some of the attractions using coupons or check-ins with Yelp. I never get sick on this place. :)

I have been coming here all of my life. I used to be able to park behind the shops(western side)on St. George Street. They had meters, not now. Pay to park $10-13 dollars and the Valet parks your car for you. Not happy about this at all. A tourist city does not want tourists to park? Really? I am giving St. George Street a Five Star rating because they have nothing to do with the parking. St. George street is truly the place to go to stroll, shop, dine and people watch. I especially love the "Ring Man" that makes name rings. I wear mine everyday. When he sees me, he always stops and takes the time to clean my ring for me every time. Looking forward to my next trip to St. George Row!

There is a lot to see and do in St. Augustine and St. George St. should be one of them. I didn't have much time so I was here in the middle of the day. It was sweltering. I was tired. And I was alone. Which is not the best combination for enjoying this lively, historical part of Old St. Augustine. But regardless of how I felt, I couldn't just skip it so I made my way down. I stopped at the City Gates, tasted some hot sauce it with datil pepper in it (can only be found in this area), got a Frozen Hot Chocolate, enjoyed a hearty meal at the Columbia, ducking in and out of stores, tasting samples, picking up souvenirs and gifts. It's a pricey area. It's also very busy. And every few buildings or so you can hear music and clapping, singing and dancing from the various bars, yes, even in the middle of the day. I also saw the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, which is right along the path. The area is simply beautiful. Parking is hard to find and very limited. I drove around for a while looking for something, and you can drive through some of the streets and its extremely awkward and embarrassing because they are narrow and flooded with people. So, what I ended up doing and highly recommend, is parking in front of the fort which is across the street and paying. The fee wasn't that high, I paid for like three hours I think and still had time leftover, but I did have to circle the lot about three times before something finally opened. If you're going to be in town for more than just a day, a lot of people recommended riding on the red trains (not the other ones) that take you from place to place. The cost is like $25 and you can use it more than one day I believe. I was only there for half a day so it wouldn't have been worth as you run on their schedule and even will a list of must see's, I simply ran out of time. On another note, I wanted to see a few other landmarks, like Flagler College and the Lightner Museum and they are within walking distance. I was really glad I parked where I did. When I was done seeing the sites, I strolled around the fort, took a break at the waters edge and then headed to the beach by car.

I had a lot of great memories of buying candy at the dollar store, watching a movie, getting a slice of pizza, then blowing all my quarters at the arcade. The only stores that remain from that era at this mall are the JCPenney and Belk. Every other location has held restaurants, shops, stores, whatever you can think of, and come and gone. It has gotten better in recent years, however, as I can remember when there were literally 4 stores in the entire mall. Belk and Penney's are still anchors, but there's a nice flower shop, a hallmark store, and a Sears which have been there for a while. A church has taken over the area that used to be the movie theaters, and they seem to be doing really well- a LOT of cars pack that place on Sundays. I also noticed a sewing shop and GNC, so it's nice to see they're getting some tenants. Still a LONG way from the glory days of this mall, but they're hanging in there. Although it's clean, well-maintained, has some nice stores, and plenty of parking, I can't recommend this mall for a shopping excursion. Would definitely drive to Jax or Daytona for true mall shopping, but if you need something in a pinch, try the department stores here.

There's a hallmark and gnc there too. Blockbuster is actually in front of the mall, not actually inside. Decent mall but you won't find much here

Walking in, the store is clean and well organized (kind of hard to find the Plus Size section, but frankly, that's pretty normal... they always hide us in the back). Departments were marked well, with ample signage, and sales were well advertised. Racks were clean and straight, there wasn't any mess in the walkways or overflowing tables of tee-shirts. It was a relaxing, stress-free, shopping experience. Even on an early Saturday morning, this store was not busy at all, which I prefer. Clothing definitely skews toward "Ladies Who Lunch in Florida," - you won't find anything super-trendy that your teenager would wear. This is for stylish mature women who live in FL and need to look amazing, put together, and cool, all at the same time. Clothing fabrications reflect those needs, too, with light and airy options that won't make us sweat (I shopped in April). Fitting rooms were nicely-sized, with a solid door (not a curtain), and a chair. One gripe... there were only two hooks for clothes (I like to have hooks for "Try On," "Buy," and "Put Back" options). Within the fitting room, but outside the individual stalls, was a three-way mirror so you could get a really good look at your outfit to make sure you'll look good coming AND going! As I said at the beginning, the check-out staff was what really dropped the quality of my experience. There was no employee at one counter, so I went to the other one, where there was one lady doing a return, and doing it *very* slowly... It took her probably 5 minutes to complete it AFTER I'd already gotten there, so who really knew how long it took from start to finish! I think it took 15 minutes for me to check out with my two simple items. However, even though she was slow, the cashier was extremely friendly, so a point in her favor! I like this location, and I like the clothing sold in this store, so I guess I just have to decide if the long wait to pay is worth the affordable stylish clothing?
