This is one of my fave flea markets! I enjoy walking and exploring different finds. I have found some nice pieces for practically free and the burger joint is the spot! And I like that restaurant out back on for karaoke... Plenty of parking too! I always find bargain buys here! read more

We were visiting Jacksonville and saw pics of this flea market and decided to try it. First let me say the neighborhood is terrible. Trash thrown everywhere. People sleeping on the sidewalks. Some very shady looking characters wandering around. We parked in the lot that was designated for the flea market but decided that we were not brave enough to get out of the car, so we left. It wasn't worth getting knifed over. From the car we couldn't see much that looked decent. read more

This flea market is large and has many vendors to choose from. I was a little disappointed that a many of the vendors are selling cheaply made products from China. I was hoping to find some antique furniture or cast iron (I am addicted) but no luck at Ramona's flea market. There is a $1 fee to enter the flea market. read more

Well...this is an interesting place to say the least. You can do a lot of entertaining people watching and find just about anything you could imagine. The outside is like a giant yard sale and honestly most of it was in pretty bad shape, prices were reasonable it seemed. The inside stalls are more like flea market with new items and mix of things. Here are a few things you could buy...live chickens, live rabbits, puppies, produce, jewelers, clothes, tools, plants, masks, household goods and decor. Some of the booths look like hoarders using it for storage others the merchant takes a lot of pride in their setup. Oh yeah and there is even a bar in the back to get a nice cold beer. I will say the produce vendors the food looked pretty old and in rough shape. No prices but nothing looked good enough I even wanted to inquire on prices. Almost nothing is priced so have to ask and not everything is a deal to be aware. Make sure to check expiration dates on cosmetics, food and cleaning supplies we saw a fair amount that was expired. For $1 entrance fee is worth spending a couple hours on a nice day. read more

Update: Less than two years ago I wrote a review and since then my dad has passed. This place holds a ton of memory since we went almost every other Sunday when I was younger. This place holds something sentimental to me and I figured I would post updates as time goes by on the vendors since my family continues to come here. Covid has surely emptied out a ton of the regular vendors but it seems like things are starting to get back to "normal". Toys: There's a lady that's towards the back parking area. I can remember her being here for the longest, she sells inexpensive toys and sometimes she's with her niece or granddaughter. I've picked up a few signs, poppers, ninja swords and other things from her. She's really nice. Artwork: There's a guy that sells custom air brush paintings on wood, mailboxes, and helmets. I purchased a Seminole and Jaguars sign from him several years back and it's been outside and looks like the day I purchased it. Plenty of compliment on his work, will be posting pics soon. Peanuts: Right where you enter at the main entrance. They have been here FOREVER and if you notice peanut shells on premise, it's probably from this place. They sell peanuts in ziplop bags for $3/5, small or large. I enjoy the spicy and so does my son, but they don't sell flavored water so it's mild for us through the market. Produce: They use to be outside near the main entrance but has moved under the pavilion closer to the back packing. Actually, I think all the produce vendor moved together and sometimes there's a food truck or two that's serving some tacos or other yummy lunches. Personally, I would rather get my produce from the farmer's market on Beaver or the supermarket. The produce here seems a bit "dated", imo. Antique, Tools and other large items: I wouldn't really call it antique because it's mostly just rusted junk but you can find most of these items in the open field, which is right and all the way down when you get in the main entrance. There's a vendor there that sells old metal signs for wayyyyyy too much. There's always room for bargaining but when you are asking $30 for a sign that's really worth $5-10 bucks tops it feels like I am low balling. There's also people selling a ton of tools that in area. I've never purchased any myself since I am a guy that trust in warranty. Bikes, workout equipment, outdoor toys, you name it. Karaoke and Beers: There's a cool little hang out spot where I know a lot of locals go including a few of my friends. They sell beers either on tap or in a can/bottle and you can sing your heart away. Haven't really heard of much singing lately though. Kitchenware: There's a place that near the back parking that sells everything that will furnish your kitchen or outdoor cooking. Just note, everything is way overpriced and you can probably find better quality items elsewhere. Smoke shops: If you are a fan of hookahs, vape or other extracurricular smoking activities - They have vendors for that here too. They are pretty spread out so I would suggest hitting all of them up and see how their prices are. Some are cheaper than others for the exact some item. Restrooms: Yes, they have them here and it's well maintained for the most part. A bit date but so is this whole place. There's a ton more I could list but that's all for now. I'd recommend packing some waters, something you can sweat in and some walking shoes during the summer as this place is massive and there's no A/C. Best time to visit is during the fall and warmer winter if you don't like the heat. read more

Bring your cash and get ready to negotiate. Lots of good deals to be found. If you have plenty of time on your hands, you can stroll through all the vendors on the property. It's definitely the largest in the northeast of Florida. Entry fee is a dollar per person and they have shopping carts available for 2 bucks. There are plenty items for sale old and new. Like we bought Ryobi tools new for a fraction of the cost. Also purchased a nice vintage mirror to hang over my vanity in my bedroom. The restrooms were decent. Located in the back between bldg A and B. They are indoors and mot out houses which is a plus. It was a nice day at the flea market. You never know what you might find here. read more

I am posting this because I was asked too by many Costumers of the Fleamarket. What prompted me to update was I think I was blocked on Ramona's Facebook from commenting. And they had a VERY old picture of the farmers market posted under water. Trust me on this every fruit stand is brand new and not in water. Some of them have paved them. They look great. I do love this flea market and think many great things are coming with the new owners . I always remember as with anything with change comes complaints. So this is what I have heard. Things that I was told by people I talked with and interviewed at the flea market. Perks: you can grab a beer or drink to your liking and walk around the market. They have a new sports bar and a karaoke bar. Perk: 300 plus vendors you can buy anything from a car to a spoon at the Fleamarket. Anything you want. Perk: for bad wether there is a breezeway type of building set up lighted. Perk: fun for the kids and families. Perk: you meet all walks of life. Perk: new vender kettle corn.. yummy. Perk: easy parking busses Rvs welcome. Perk: Animal friendly. Complaint:There is no bathroom facilities that really work. I know for a fact this to be true but they have brought out many port a potty's. The flea market for years has had a major water issue they run off pumps I know the new owners are trying to get this fixed ASAP. With city water. . Complaint: The gate fee and shopping cart fees $1 to get In And $2 for a grocery cart. Many people have complained about this and stopped shopping the Fleamarket. Sorry I agree with the people on this one Only flea market to charge that I know of. I talked with other flea market owners they said "Ramona's gate fees have brought them more customers"I asked the other Flea-markets if they would put a gate fee on for revenue they said " that would never happen" Also the customer base has dropped a lot. Complaint The food quality has dropped some. I must say that Matty the chef is trying hard to bring what people want. Yes that's right I said Chef he is a licensed chef he used to work for the Jax beach 904 restaurant no longer in business. Complaint:Food is okay but the price are up there is what I have been hearing. I'm not sure what the standards are for a flea market. To me I think carnival food so the price is on point. Complaint: The filed is a trash pile this was a prime spot too be years ago. I think when the new owners and management get done with a lot of the changes this too will not be a issue. Complaint: rent is all went up. This is true all rent went up $25. They call it a facility fee. I call it raising the rent lol. I feel that many of the complaints I have herd and by what I see that there may be some issues with some of the things. I know for a fact that the new owners are trying there best to fix all that I have talked about Matt G the general manager I think was a brunette when he showed up almost 2years ago and now has white hair lol. He may not know much about flea markets but he has one hell of a support team with Barbie 35 plus years and Ruby I thing she was born in the flea market. Lol and all the ladies in the office. Hell some of there ground crew that's worked out there for 30 plus years.. I know they all work hard to keep your time at the Fleamarket fun in the sun. This is my take.. Safety while at the Fleamarket. Trust me they have Jso on site and there own privet security. They take the safety of every person very seriously and do their job well. Please feel free to come out and bring your walking shoes you will need them. Ps. Reason for 3 stars when they get things in better shape I will revise this post for sure. I love this place! You won't find a more packed full of customers flea market in Duval! They are doing so good! The workers, venders and even the customers are just really down for earth awesome people! I didn't bring cash and the super sweet customer behind me offered to pay my $3 total to get in & for cart rental. I love going there. Shopping & selling at my own booths. The have everything you could need and want! The office staff is very helpful. They have food, bathrooms cleaned, ATM machines on grounds. Last Saturday I went and it was a excellent day from the time I walked in the gate, they only take cash, $1 per person. $2 to rent a shopping cart, the one that has those available for shoppers. read more

I've become a flea market junkie! Ramona flea market is hot as hell but some good finds! The only flea market I have ever seen where you pay to get in but it's only 1/2 a dollar and more then worth it to me. The amount of hustle that goes on at the Market is unreal. I live for a good deal! After giving my pay ticket I find a beautiful high/low sundress (brand new in package) for $8. Was kinda worried that it wouldn't fit (but it was only $8) - got home and tried it on and I felt like Cinderalla sliding on her slipper. These dresses normally cost at least $30! And some brand new never worn sandals for just $5. A few days later I see the same style sandals in Forever 21 for $15 :-) Best stands have to be the fruit/veggie. Decent pricely, quality items, and you can taste test. Also you might stumble on hard to find Latin American / Caribbean items. Somewhere far in the back - I looped the place so much I had no sense of direction - there is a cafeteria/picnic covered space that was blasting music. Grab some tostadas, hotdos, nachos, or a fried oreo and jump into a line dance. I actually saw a lady with fries doing the Wobble. I guess this provides people a place to unwind and recover from the heat. But I don't see this place big enough for all that. Especially since it's cooled by large loud fans. Never saw any ATM's so hit up a bank before you come. Great place to spend a lazy Saturday just strolling the stands. But make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Some of the paths are uncovered and littered with kids fallen snow cones and other randonness. Back to it being hot as hell. You will break out a sweat. I almost want to set up a stand selling portable fans - But don't steal my idea. read more

We've always loved Ramona Flea Market and have come here off and on for almost 20 years. We don't mind the 50 cent per person fee to go in and it's nice that you can rent a shopping cart. (Actually did that once when my youngest was smaller and I had forgotten a stroller.) I've heard many people complain about the price (???) but I think charging an entrance fee deters a lot of problems I've seen in similar markets. It's an odd mix of personal stuff mixed in with mini-stores and hope-to-be antique dealers. I don't think there is anything you couldn't find here. Clothing, housewares, knicknacks, and more tools than you've ever seen in your life. I love the mini farmers market here and you can find good deals if you know your prices. For example, Haas avocados are going for $1 each in the grocery store right now, but I found a lot of dealers beating that price for what I thought were nicer (riper) fruits. Yes, they might have the same or similar source for their produce, but you can't haggle with the grocery store. There's also a better chance of finding more exotic fruits and vegetables than you might find in a standard name brand grocery store. There are food vendors situated throughout the market, some even sell beer. There's a tiny ice cream parlor serving soft serve ice cream and a small bar (beer) as well. Bathrooms are better than you expect. Yes, a lot of our affection for this place is nostalgic because it was a fun place to take the kids, but we came here this weekend (with no kids) and still had a great time. Healthwise, it's a great place to get some walking in as well. LOL I hit over 2 miles on my pedometer and didn't even realize it! read more

I love shopping there...but I will never sell there again. We bought 2 spaces for the weekend and had a lot of brand new stuff to sell. Apparently because we moved a table- the lady next to us called security. A TEAM OF 3 SECURITY PEOPLE came over and interrogated us over moving a table. I was humiliated and what I thought was going to be a fun weekend turned into an uncomfortable and embarrassing mistake. The 'regulars' talked loudly about us and then after I apologized for moving the table and offered to move it back...I was ignored. So there's my story- you be the judge. We spent about a hundred dollars renting and Ramona Flea Market regulars and security team treated us terribly. read more

Awesome place to go if you are looking for something fun and cheap to do on the weekends. My dad comes here often so that's a perk when we're together and I want to get a good price on items. Most vendors are very friendly and will work with you on prices. Yes, you can get some pretty good deals! I brought $20 with me and got some pretty cool random things and still had change left over. The Ramona Flea Market is a very organized venue with a separate parking area across the street. I recommend bringing a rolling cart to carry your purchases if you think you're going to buy a few things. It will make your experience so much better rather than having to lug heavy items back and forth to your car. I really love this place! Perhaps you will leave with many fabulous finds or perhaps simply empty handed. Either way, it's an excellent way to get your exercise for the day and enjoy the great outdoors on the cheap! 5 STARS! :) read more

I really don't understand the draw. On a Saturday morning In the summer this place was hopping! There were just a couple (3, tops) produce and plant vendors, a nice gentleman sampling and selling honey, and then just a whole bunch of random junk dealers. To use the word "antiques" to describe anything at this flea market would be a incorrect. Just because it's rusty or looks old doesn't mean it actually is people! It's almost all literal junk- garage sale leftovers status. It's evident some Outdoor vendors leave their stuff outdoors 24-7 because the furniture is all water damaged/warped and veneer peeling, metal is rusted and things are literally in piles. Some vendors have random boxed food and things like laundry detergent, maybe if you're in the market for those things you can save yourself a buck buying it here. We did a once around walk through that took about 45 minutes because it's a pretty large place with easily 100 vendors but only stopped briefly to look at a couple things. $1 entrance fee was only worth it to learn I don't want to go back. read more

Ok, so I know it's just a flea market but DAMN. This one is on steroids! Yea it's .50 to get in but who cares...one could lose a whole day browsing this place, both indoors and outdoors! Ideal spot for people watching/meeting and to just go with no particular thing in mind to buy because they have EVERYTHING and at dirt prices. There's also a whole farmer's market-esque area where all the vendors are side by side, all selling just about the same thing. Not to worry Yeeps, this makes the competition among them high so feel free to haggle your lil butt off and everybody wins. My go-to place when I'm off on Sundays. Fun place to grab a beer and walk around. The deals you come across are so amazing sometimes. $20 will get you the coolest stuff if you know where to look and what to look for. Don't be across to haggle, most people are nice (some lady selling a cash register was a complete jerk). When you want some downtime, the beer garden is a cool place to sit and listen to people sing and watch people dance - if you're brave you can dance too! Ramona Flea Market is easily the biggest flea market on the Westside of Jacksonville. There are indoor and outdoor stalls, with vendors selling a smorgasbord of items. This can range from produce or antiques to a table that came straight from a garage sale. The flea market, as a whole, definitely has a long way to go. The grounds are in definite need of sprucing. Parking is decent and definitely not as bad as Bargain House of Fleas on Blanding. You do have to pay .50 cents to get in, but for the deals that you can find within this flea market, it's worth it. The food stands make me nervous, who knows the last time that they were inspected or updated. I'll usually only buy a drink from here. An indoor sitting area that once was just separated via a plastic curtain, now has an actual doorway. In here, you can find a stage and karaoke being sung throughout the day. All in all, Ramona offers an array of different people selling an array of different items. If you have your heart set on finding one certain item at a flea market, you could probably find it here. read more

Went back again on a Sunday this time at around 10am. It was packed & lots of outside vendors. It was a 65 degree day, 1st week in Feb. Outside is mainly a huge garage sale- one mans junk is another.... well- maybe. I only bought some fruits and local honey- both things I could have got without paying an entry fee. Most walking around were empty handed, which is not what you want for such an expansive operation. It was good for a one and done- I probably won't be back and nothing jumped out at me. read more

Good old Ramona! Absolutely, hands down, the best flea market in Jacksonville. Let's start off at entry.... Be sure to bring a dollar or two with you, because the entry fee is .50 cents. But it is WELL worth it. They also have strollers/carts you can rent as well. There are SO many vendors. Indoor, and outdoor vendors. They have just about anything you could possibly be looking for. It always takes us at least a few hours to walk through and see everything, that is, when we are taking our time. They have restaurants and even a bar inside of the flea market. The food is actually pretty good. The flea market stays open until 5pm, but usually the outdoor vendors start leaving around 2-3pm. So be sure you browse outside first. There's plenty of parking, and even handicap parking behind the ticket shop. You never know what you're going to find here, so if you love good deals, pay the .50 cents and give this flea market a shot! You won't be let down! read more

If your ever in the area, stop by for the best little fruit baggy for $4 of mixture or just all fruit of pineapple. Mango, watermelon. Also, it is a nice stroll to go through to kill time and never know you may stumble upon something like I have today. They had rabbits for $10. They are also beers you can get as well as the fruit at the enterance, which are like 3.60 or so, but if you make you way through the front row in the entrance go to the end, hang a right. You'll see a sign for cold beer which is draft and for 2.60. But the hidden gem for this place is the fruit snacks they blow the boiled peanuts out the water. I only like taking a stroll through cause you would be amazed of what you can find. Like I did, a bunny for 10$. If you got spare time, you can actually may get an enjoyment of out time and may find yourself buying something. read more

Best Flea Market in Jax! I honestly go here a few times a month, to the point that I know some of the vendors, lol. I have even had someone ask me what a price was one time when I was standing at booth. You can find a little of everything... We're talking, clothing, furniture, tools, food, laundry detergent, and art. I personally love the "yard sale" area, I never pay full price and I find everything I could ever want here. I went about late morning to early afternoon and there were rainclouds. So, maybe that's why it didn't really feel like a bustling place to be. It was still a pretty cool flea market. There was a bouncy house for the kiddies, a little karaoke bar looking place, and a face-painting spot. Clothes, CDs, DVDs, and fruit. Basically, everything you'd expect a flea market to have, they have it, plus a few extras. It didn't seem as if people haggled on price here. I'm thinking this must be the type that has a set price and that's it, but the price is lower than retail stores. Or maybe, because the crowd wasn't as thick as usual, none of the vendors were willing to come down on price? I don't know. It costs .50 per person to enter. I visited Ramona Flea Market when it was blistering hot over the weekend and it was the heat, not the lack of interesting goods that chased us away. Unlike most of the other flea markets for miles around, Ramona isn't just limited to the NOS vendors that peddle cheap crap like lighters and perfume and fake sunglasses. You can actually find normal flea market stuff here. Now, don't get me wrong, there are commercial vendors a plenty (generally located under the tents) but out front in the scorching heat you'll find what amounts to a massive yard sale of all types of items. It's a great options for people who like to do weekend garage sales without all the travelling around town. There's plenty o' junk but you'll find a few diamonds among the detritus. People are a bit unrealistic with their prices but most are willing to haggle. Part of me was hoping to find some of the artisan/arts market type of fare here as well, like the flea markets I used to frequent in Arizona... but it's no use, those type of flea markets don't exist here. This is second best but much much better than any other options in the city or surrounding area. Advice: don't visit when it's 100 degree outside. Or do, because you'll be able to haggle a better price while the other suckers sweat. Also, just an FYI, you have to pay 50 cents to enter. read more

Nice place at times but don't try and get any food from this place it's like they hate you when you want to get a sandwich or something. I had to walk out because the face the white man made look like I was bothering him. And I'm only saying he was white because the black guy at the other spot was very nice and made you feel welcome just the older white woman behind him looked like she hated the world. read more
