If you like Jamaican food and clothing this is the place for you. Most of the bays were closed. The incense smell is over powering, reminded me of high school when we thought our parents didn't know we were smoking in the basement since we lit incense. The vegetable market is the best thing here. I would come just for that.

I love flea markets! And this one doesn't disappoint. It has all sorts of items for purchase but you have to be willing to search and dig. The outdoor produce area was my favorite...lots of fruits and veggies for purchase. And they'll make sugar cane juice for you on the spot as well (which was perfect for this hot summer day). We also bought incense and a necklace from a Jamaican spot (super friendly and helpful). A fun place to walk around, grab some grub and get fresh produce for a steal!

Meh... Con: 1) Too much cheap krap from China. 2) hardly any vintage furniture Pros: 1) Couple of trustworthy restaurants 2) lots of fresh veggies and fruits 3) lots of vendors with live plants

Food: 5 Customer Service: 5 Location/ Parking: 5 The flea market is situated in the heart of the Jacksonville, FL area, and we had an excellent time a few weeks ago while we was visiting the area. There is alot of vendors that are situated inside the enclosed sheltering, and more vendors outside under the hot sunny weather. Overall we had a great time just walking and looking for some antiques and little nick nats.

Haven't been to this flea market in a year. Parking is sometimes limited. I and My Wife decided to go here today. We decided to have some Mexican food. We decided to eat from Antojitos Mexicano food place. My Wife decided to have the Menudo, which She said was fresh and hearty. It was also hearty and filling as well. She also decided to have a Beef Lengua Taco too, and on the side an Elote, which was excellent. I decided to have a Beef Lengua Torta, which was excellent and an Elote on the side, which was excellent. To drink We both had cold and refreshing Horchata, which was authentic as well. Will return here again.

The Beach Blvd Flea Market has just about everything you could possibly need or want. We went on a Sunday which was a slower day as not all the booths were open. But I'm not into crowds so I was a happy shopper. There were two bigger stores in the market which sold anything from clothes, underwear, bungee cords, socks, cooking utensils and bowls, school supplies, sheets, little umbrellas for your hat, pretty keychains, tools and much much more! There was also a farmers market with so many different fruits and vegetables I didn't even recognize everything LOL. I am definitely going back for the fruits and vegetables which are priced much lower than any grocery store near me. There was also an Avon vendor. There was a large amount of pots and pans in the center isle. This vendor also sold outdoor grills, but not the kind of grills you use to make steaks and burgers. These were big propane burners which would come in handy if you lose power during a storm. The majority of the vendors only accept cash with a few exceptions. So be sure to stop at the ATM on your way.

Beach BLVD Flea Market has the typically Florida flea market stuff. New and used goods, produce, antique(old stuff), arts and crafts, etc. My favorite is the Jamaican and Taco stand. It's not the BEST food, but it's darn good. NOTE: There's two taco stands. They have difference prices. I ate at the one that has $3 tacos, so I can't speak on the one that serves them up for $3.50 Parking is a challenge. Getting in/out is a challenge. Even when it's not crazy busy. People seem to park anywhere they can find an opening. Vendors can be a hit or miss. There's a ton of spaces that were closed the last two times we've been. Not sure if it's weather related, or just how it is. There's three rows if I'm not mistaken. It's not that large, but there's a little bit of everything here for everyone if flea markets are your thing.

20oz orange blossom local honey and a wildflower honeycomb that I devoured before I took the pic hehe sorry! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Pretty cool spot to kill some time! I came here while waiting for a friend. They had a lot of vendors, although some of them literally were selling trash... I guess one man's trash is another man's treasure?? It was super hot in there but I noticed a guy hacking up coconuts and handing them to people with a straw. THAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY DREAM TO DRINK OUT OF A COCONUT WITH A STRAW. Obviously I had to get one. For $3.50 you can pick your own fresh coconut, and he hacks it up to get to the juice. My advice - get the coconut when you first get there, drink as you walk around the rest of the market and head back to the coconut stand and have them split it open for you so you can eat the inside! Next to the coconuts, there was a local honey stand with SO many size options and flavors. Orange blossom, wildflower, pepper, etc. They also sold the honeycomb. I purchased a 20oz jar of orange blossom honey for $11 and a small container of wildflower honeycomb for $2... I wish they offered testers because I loved the wildflower when I got home to eat it but the jar I bought was orange blossom. Oh well its still good! There was a super cool store with tons of random items from clothing, to shoes, to kitchen supplies, to pet supplies, etc! They also have a massive amount of produce, but some of it is definitely old stuff that grocery stores sold for the low to these vendors. They have a seafood stand with raw fish, shrimp, squid etc, as well as a few food stands that offer Mexican food, seafood, fried chicken, burgers etc. There's tons to find here! Only downside is it does get a little warm inside if it's a hot day but check it out! **Basically no one in here was wearing a mask so I was a little turned off by that. Make sure you bring one if you care about protecting yourself and others!**

Smaller and somewhat friendlier produce vendor with some marked prices.

Nope not my bag. My mom was in town and I told her about this place and how I've driven passed it may times but never actually checked it out. We went on a Friday afternoon, around 1ish and it seem like most of the vendors were closed. There were two main vendors that sold fresh fruits that were opened, the one towards the front was the largest of the two but their produce were not marked with prices and when we asked they didn't seem very willing to help us or cared whether or not they received our business. The one towards the back and the left side of the market, with a sign that read International Market was somewhat nicer and had some prices marked. There were a few exotic produce that isn't carried at regular grocery stores but nothing I would really care to buy in the first place. The produce quality at both places seem pretty fresh though. It's a flea market, so most of the other vendors just sold used (really old) items. Perhaps we came on an off day and shops open later in the day but I would think if they close at 5 pm, the majority of the shops would be opened by noon.

First flea market in Florida and the comparison from NJ to Florida. So far Jersey crushes them in Flea Markets. Can anyone recommend a good flea market down here? I did however buy 2 pairs of sunglasses for $14 which I thought was a good deal. Originally $8 a piece, negotiable. Thought some items where over priced and didn't really have a good selection of clothing nor places to eat. People were friendly and over the area was clean.

I've been to the Beach Blvd Flea Market a couple times- but the last time was years ago. John had pointed at it on the way to breakfast and I was more than willing to poke in and see if there was anything of interest. I find Flea Markets can surprise you from time to time. We entered on the South-East side of the market and found ourselves in front of a gaming/ arcade- interesting and not at all what I would have expected. We walked down each row and I'm not sure if this was considered a normal weekend- but a lot of booths were closed. There were still plenty open- ranging from barber shops (that were crazy busy with lines!), vape stores, junk booths (or treasure- you judge), tools, couponer grocery, kitchen supplies and much more. One shop had tons of new power tools, vacuums, lawn equipment and more- higher priced items that ranged in pricing, marked down from a traditional retail store. I actually might go back for a power tool batter that would be $20 less than a regular store if it's the right one for my tools. There are several produce stands- kind of a must for any flea market- most are at the front (Beach Blvd facing) or on the West rows. And a honey guy! I love honey- I have too much honey, I buy honey every time we travel and also locally- Hi my name is Crystal and I am addicted to honey. And I bought 3lbs of it from the guy for an amazing price of $20! And he is the bee keeper- my preferred way of buying honey- from the source! Even though we had just had breakfast, John was drooling over all the delicious smells coming from various Latin and Mexican restaurants in the market. For me- this is a once in a blue moon thing- flea markets that is. I love a good bargain, but sometimes they are hard to find!

Great products and variety, specially in plants and produce. Could be a bit cleaner. Nevertheless I'll definitely go back!

Nice variety of vendors, the smell of cigarettes was so strong I could not stay long. Also most of the stands were closed.

Ask the Community - Beach Boulevard Flea Market

What day is the best day to go get fresh produce?

Fresh Produce and seafood are at the Beach Blvd Flea Market every Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Are dogs allowed?

I don't see signs saying no dogs allowed, it's really crowded. If your pet gets anxious in a crowded environment, I wouldn't bring them here.

I have been twice now because a local ceramics artist from Jacksonville Pottery Studio (right down the road from this market) sells her pottery there and she specializes in Hobbit Door inspired arts. I now have a door mug (yellow to match my front door) and a door planter I picked up yesterday as well as a little corked bottle! Jess from @insearchof.ceramics is my inspiration to attend, even with thunderstorms threatening! Besides several local pottery tables, there are clothing booths, jewelry, soaps, candles, food trucks, CBD and more! Great little monthly pop up to check out and support a small and upstarting business! That and get to know Murray Hill a little better! I especially love that it is in the evenings- because summer months are just too hot!

It usually takes place on Sundays from 4--8pm. They've gone through many changes since its inception and now it runs like a well oiled machine. Vendors galore. More-so, unique vendors! Jewelry, small batch honey, post cards, t-shirts, balloon installations, massages, leather hand bags, etc. There's always something new and shiny that catches the eye. Some vendors are repeats, but you can usually expect a few you've never come across before. I love that Vagabond stays open throughout the event. Nothing better than strolling while sipping delicious coffee. I think one should have the mindset that it is a small market, so if you're not serious about buying anything you'll probably run through it rather quickly. Give or take 25 vendors if I had to guess. Vagabond Flea is the epitome of supporting local. Check out the talented makers who don't have their own storefronts. This is their chance to interact with the community and make some money!

BUYER BEWARE!! I ordered something through Amazon & by mistake put the incorrect mailing address…read more It was shipped & undeliverable. When it didn't arrive I tracked it & was told that it was undeliverable. I called UPS & was told that per the seller, I was not allowed to pick it up & it could not be forwarded. I immediately contacted the company via email. They did not respond, so, several days later I contacted Amazon to see if they could help. I ended up getting a nasty email that said that it had the wrong address & was undeliverable - have a good weekend. No mention of forwarding it, no mention of me being able to pick it up, and no mention of a refund. I then had to go back to Amazon & let them know exactly what the company's response was to my problem (I cut & pasted their response so Amazon would see that I was not making this up). Thankfully, Amazon immediately processed a refund, which I should be seeing within a week. I did not even get an apology until I posted a negative review on their Face Book page, at which time they told me that they issued a refund as soon as they realized that there was a problem. I checked my bank account & they did not issue a refund. They told me that they are a small family owned & run business. If this is the way that they treat customer' that is exactly how they are going to stay - small. I would not order anything from these people again - BUYER BEWARE!
