Came here when I was on vacation with my best friend. I paid almost 90$ for a pedicure/gel and tip. I came in to get my heels literally SCRUBBED. I work in healthcare so I'm always on my feet and in shoes. When I tell you she spent 45 seconds scrubbing my feet, only to leave with it feeling spikey, has me feeing a type of way. I have never left a nail salon unsatisfied like this. I hate to complain, but I paid 90$ with upgrades. You'd think it would be perfect. My polish also looked like ive been walking in shoes for 5 days. Pretty disappointed to be honest. We stay in town a few times a year, this was supposed to be a girls get away with my friend away from our busy lives, which it was, but we were both feeing dissatisfied after we left. I just returned for a second time at St. george Nail, made an appt to which i had to wait 45mins after my appt all to be met with super b*tchy behavior from the owner. I drove 40 mins to come to this appointment. she asked from across the building what i wanted as i called earlier to make sure they had ample time for long gelx with design and they confirmed 'yes', she said i am being "super picky" on what i wanted when it was just a base color with cat eye overlay followed up with an attitude and talking about me to the current lady she was working on. A lady sitting next to a friend i brought, suggested we should leave after an interaction like that and that she also would not be returning after seeing her treat a customer like that. so the owner just literally lost 3 costumers today bc of that interaction. read more

St. George Basil does great work, but over proved. I say this because I was quoted the cost for my nails but that is not the price I was charged. I repeated the price I was given to confirm yet that was not honored and I felt it was handled very poorly. I'm happy to pay for service rendered and expect it to be what I'm quoted. If I misunderstood I would gladly pay but I confirmed all communications concerning this and felt strongly misled simply to get my business. I came in from out of town to repair a broken toenail. My bails were previously painted with red gel polish and so all I really wanted was my gel removed and my nails repainted. Everybody was friendly, but my qualm is more so with price and value. My basic pedicure was $37, and the cost of gel was an additional 15. When the gentleman was removing my toenail polish, he completely grinder off all the gel with an efile and did not try to soak off any remaining gel with acetone. Be aware that overtime this method can lead to thin nails that can also cause future breakage. My feet were soaked, and when it came time to cleaning my cuticles, all he did was use the nippers and I did not receive any cuticle remover, nor did he use any tools to clean under my nails or around them. I failed to say that I didn't pay attention to see if my tools were removed from sterilized bags, but when my pedicure was almost over another nail technician came and took his cart away, and I really hope they didn't use the same tools on the next lady that was being started. He did a good job, painting my nails, and did apply cuticle oil when he was done. All I have to say is when you're paying for luxury prices, there should be an A-to-Z list protocol that is followed on every single client to ensure that they don't feel like they're getting less out of their experience. It's those little details that will have clients go elsewhere. I know I don't live here, but if it would help out any local who's looking for the best value for their dollar then that's that. read more

I don't even have to worry about who is taking care of me or doing my nails that day because I know they are going to come out flawless. The owner is a gem. I promise you. I'm usually not the type to complain,I let things go, even when something feels off. But what happened today at this salon was absolutely disgusting, unprofessional, and something I'll never forget. I had a 5pm appointment, and another girl walked in right behind me for hers she was early for her's. She was polite, waited patiently, and even came back with her boyfriend to ask if he could get a pedicure too which it was his first so that was super exciting for the both of them ! . Everything seemed fine until the nail tech who was supposed to do her nails came over the the pedicure chairs where we all were and started yelling saying things like, "I'm not doing her nails again! It took me three hours last time, and I only charged her $70! She complained the whole time and she can leave!" The poor girl looked so confused and said she loved her nails last time and thought maybe the tech had her confused with someone else because she loved her nails . She even explained her nails naturally curve, which is why she guided her on how to file them without pain. As that's the only thing she said to her the last appointment But the tech didn't care -- she doubled down, still yelling, and then started talking trash about her to three other customers while the girl and her boyfriend were sitting right there! The things she said were humiliating: how "ugly" her nails were, how they "should've blocked her number last time," and how she "wasn't worth the time." The tech kept saying she didn't care how she was acting and she was not doing her nails and etc... I was disgusted. I told the girl's boyfriend they needed to leave, and I told her directly she didn't deserve that kind of treatment. She left in tears ! after saying she'd driven an hour to see that same nail tech, only to be treated like garbage in front of a room full of people and a tech she thought she finally liked. And as if that wasn't enough, after she left, the tech kept running her mouth -- still talking to customers about how "awful" the girl was and bragging that she told her to leave, kept saying over and over again how she only charged her 70$ and it took her three hours ( mind you I'm pretty sure this lady was the owner and they all charge separate fees so she COULDVE charged her MORE. ) I finally spoke up and told her she was completely unprofessional, made everyone uncomfortable, and that I'd never be back. The nail tech who did my pedicure was amazing (and the only professional one in the room), but I stopped the massage early, paid, and left. As I was paying, the yelling tech told the front desk I didn't have to pay but that I wasn't welcome back -- which honestly made me laugh, because there's no way I'd ever return after witnessing something so nasty and sad I've been coming here for four months, and I've never seen anything so unprofessional and cruel. The way this woman humiliated a customer in public, while gossiping and yelling in front of everyone, TO OTHER CUSTOMERS! Children in the room also was beyond embarrassing -- for her and for the entire business I'm not going to call out the other three working people there as they were ALL embarrassed of the things this lady was saying and doing and kept apologizing to me and the other lady but If that's how they treat paying clients, this place doesn't deserve anyone's business and I think everyone should know and to the girl who was treated this way just know you were stood up for and things were said after you left ! read more

Got my nails done on the 18th, it's been a day and a half and the polish is chipping, lifting, and Peeling completely coming off. I understand I didn't get gel so I wasn't expecting it to last more than a week max. But a day? That's crazy. She also didn't take the polish all the way down my nail bed, she also missed the edges of my nails, so some are half painted. She also nipped my cuticle pretty bad. My friend's nails were a bit sloppy too, she also didn't take the polish down to the cuticle either. Both our nails looked grown out before we even got out of the chairs. Honestly never experienced something like this before. I get my nails done in many salons because I travel a lot for work. First of all when I went to the bowl for the pedicure the water was very hot and when I politely asked if they could lower the temperature, the technician acted frustrated. They never asked me about the temperature which is definitely standard practice in my experience at other salons. Secondly, she started grinding away to take off my old gel polish very hard, causing me pain and I told her you're burning me and she acted frustrated. To be clear I was polite. I've worked a lot of Customer Service positions and I'm always careful to be respectful when making requests for giving feedback. It was only gel polish. We could've been soaked off and accomplish without the use of the grinder anyway. At the very minimum, very gentle grinding should be used to avoid damaging the nail bed. 37 Then I asked for a new nail file versus one that had been used before this also irritated her. Lastly, she cut the toenail on my big toe shorter than the other nail and then asked me how it was and I said that one was shorter which it noticeably was. She then started to get very agitated and angry and refused to continue working on me. I probably should have left sooner anyway, but this was crazy. I left with all the previous pedicure removed and no service and no apology either. Truly shocking. The only positive thing I would say about this place is that it's a beautiful space, it's a pity that the service is so bad. read more

This was the worst mani/ pedi I have ever had. Do not recommend this place. Unfortunately I do not remember the names of the girls who did the mani pedi. I had to keep correcting the lady to cut my nails shorter and before that she was so rough while doing my toes she cut me. I had to use alcohol for a few days after that hoping it wouldn't get infected. The manicurist did not do the cuticles right and when the gel was applied it was so sloppy. And the worst part is is that the gel started peeling the very next day! I'm a busy mom of small kids and I barely have time for myself. Now I have to make another appointment somewhere else to fix the bad job these guys did. I ordered the deluxe mani and deluxe pedi and the whole thing ended up costing me over $130! So disappointing and a waste of money. Many nail places in town, don't go to this one. read more

I have a hard time even giving this nail salon a 1 star I am so disappointed. First time visit cost me $120 for acrylic nails. I expected to pay $55-$65 not $120 dollars, total raped, everything was separate, polish, cuticles, gel, can you spell R-I-P-O-F-F BEWARE DO NOT VISIT THIS SALON. My mom and I both had pedicures today, and the whole experience was fabulous! The staff is very nice, attentive, and kind. It's very clean, yet it still feels warm and welcoming. My almost 75-year-old mom has the typical age-related foot problems such as arthritis and nail thickening, but she's also broken a foot as well as a heel so her feet are very tender. They were very gentle when handling her feet, particularly during the massage, which made it so enjoyable for her. Thank you for an awesome experience, and we'll be back! read more
