Unfortunately, this place was very disappointing. I had searched for a nail salon close to home and settled on this place based on previous reviews. Collagen Nail Spa is not the place to go. It's unsanitary and the nail tech I had was not gentle. I should have walked out sooner than I did. Even though my experience was with one nail tech, if that one nail tech is being unsanitary and rough, then that's still a reflection of the business this place provides. read more

I've been here a few times but I think I have to officially call it quits after my last experience. I make an appointment everytime prior to my visit and everytime I still end up waiting over 10 minutes before someone attends to me. They allow you to book no matter if they are short staffed and thats just wrong. I experienced the owner taking customers by herself one after the other instead of her simply saying Im sorry I cant get to you today because its just me. She had six people in a pedicure chair all at once when she was the only one working. It seems very greedy to me and results in poor service. She was texting while massaging my child's legs during her pedicure, going back and forth between clients (starting one, and then stopping to continue another), massages seemed shorter than usual, and the nail polish has already started coming off. The end product is not worth this type of service or quality and Id much rather be told I have to reschedule than to deal with this treatment again. read more

Pedicure appointment. Observed a walk-in client sit down for artificial nails and male owner technician was argumentative with the client. She politely excused herself as she said there was a miscommunication between them. Male owner technician said a few things about her after she left. I arrived at my appointment on time to a empty shop and the place smelled strongly of cooked food. I went to use the restroom but it was fithly something sticky on the doorknob, so I went to wash my hands but no towels. I came out to observe the above meantioned incident. Still there was no one to seat me for my appointment. Then wife owner came out and put a plastic bowl cover on the pedicure chair and I asked for disinfect too but she was so rude and told me I could go somewhere else if I had a problem or bring my own pedicure tools if I don't like it! I said, " nevermind, it's not to much to ask for sanitizer from a genuine hygienic business!" I'm so tired of catching nail fungus from this and other nearby unsanitary, unsupervised nail businesses! Much less pay for rude businesses owner if you dare to question their lack of basic hygiene. read more

Pretty bummed out that my second time back was not as great as my first. I called to make an appointment, and when I arrived, they questioned why I was there. The girl then started working on my nails. She burned me with the dremel a few times. She didn't ask how I like my shape until AFTER she was done rounding the corners. After she was done adding the polish and told me to look I had to request she add another layer of polish as there were transparent areas that were blatantly obvious. Even after another layer, it still wasn't even. Even after requesting another layer, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Another lady was also in there getting a fill and she was about 1/2 way done when I arrived yet we left at the same time. 5 days later I went in to request my nails be completely removed as one had already broken. The nail tech then told me all the issues were due to my nails being too thin. I do appreciate them removing them at no cost considering I wasted $40 on nails that didn't last a week. read more

Collagen nail spa was a well kept small nail salon. We enjoyed our visit, although I would keep in mind that they were slightly understaffed. We made an appointment for a family of 5 to get pedicures and they accepted our appointment while they only had two people working. They did a great job it just all felt a little rushed. And who wants to be rushed when ur getting a spa day? They were super sweet and talented. Just keep in mind when going here how big your party is and how many staff members they have available. read more

I've been there twice, but the 2nd time may be my last. Having said this, they did a good job on my nails. It was just not a relaxing or welcoming experience. I called ahead of time and agreed on a time to come in for a mani/pedi. When I got there, there were two staff members working on two ladies who appeared to have just arrived. The woman in charge seemed stressed out but at least she didn't ignore me. I sat in a pedi chair waiting for maybe 20 minutes before another woman arrived with her little girl, threw her belongings down by my chair and started working on my feet. When she was almost done with the polish, the woman in charge told her to go work on one of two other patrons who had walked in and were waiting. The woman in charge finished my last two toes and then told me to move to another chair after they dry to get my manicure. The little girl was moving chairs around where I was told to go, so I waited until they told me to move. I felt bad for the worker who came in with her little girl. She was not friendly and seemed unhappy to be there. I prefer a welcoming and relaxing environment. The first time I went there (months ago), there appeared to be some kind of inspector who came in and told the woman in charge to have her lawyer call him. Same kind of bad vibe in there. This is a new salon, run by a married couple. They are very nice and personable. I have been traveling in or RV for 7 years and have had my nails done all across the country. I had both a fill and a pedicure. They did a very nice job on both. I would highly recommend this salon. It is very clean and friendly. read more

I'm not usually a person who complains but I don't like how my nails came out. The staff and salon were nice and clean. The person who did my nails seemed to be in a rush, he quickly put a dot of glue on my nails and then looked for the nail tip, and some did not seem to fit my nail properly. When he started to put the acrylic on top I was a little nervous since some nails were thicker than the others but he had drilled them down and I thought they would be better but I still have some really thick nails, the tips of my nails look like the polish is floating from how thick the nails are. Before painting the color, he had told me that we had to wait a few minutes for them to dry but then he went and started another client who came in. I don't mind having to wait in between clients since I do hair and I understand but I was sitting for 20-25 minutes waiting for him to come back and he also didn't communicate that he would be working on another client. He did the basics for her and then the other person finished the other client. I didn't want to bother and ask to get them redone but I also didn't get a chance to really look at them until after leaving. I was with 2 others who got pedicures and they said it was pretty good. It was still nice but I would only recommend for basic nails but I wouldn't recommend getting acrylic. read more

Well, they were doing good on my toes at first and then one of the ladies was digging in my toe and I come home and the day after I got an ingrown on my toe feel very swollen and it hurts really bad. I do not remember recommend this nail salon. read more
