If you're trying to find a nail place in St. George, I finally did! I've gone to nearly every salon here it seems and have never found one that I felt did an excellent job. One person made my cuticles bleed, another told me that he didn't like my design so he wasn't going to do it, he also changed the color that I had picked because he didn't like my color... other nails have lifted and yanked my hair out. My boyfriend took my there to get Pedicures for my birthday. When we walked in we were greeted by cute dogs. After that, a lady who was wearing a hoodie, her hair in a really messy bun, and no makeup. There were only two ladies here who actually got ready and weren't wearing sweats or hoodies. They looked like just got up and went to work. This was very rare to see considering we were at a BEAUTY place. It made me reconsider getting services by them. They looked very unprofessional. Worst experience! Do not go here!!!! There was a group of us that went and we all were very disappointed. The whole place seemed dirty and unkept. First of all, there were 4 dogs there. I'm a dog person but that is so unprofessional. The girl painting my toes kept stopping to pet her dog. They did not seem to know what they were doing. They were young (which is fine), but seemed like they weren't even licensed professionals. One girl told the other to stop talking to her because she needed to focus. With my friend's pedicure the girl did not even remove her previous gel on her toes- she just painted over it. When we asked why she didn't take it off she just said "it takes too long, that's why we don't recommend gel on your toes" and then she charged her $10 to remove her previous gel. Last (and worst) of all was my "manicure." She rushed through it and was so aggressive and rough with the nail file. She cut 3 of my fingers! And the shape is awful. I made an appointment with Mika for a gel manicure, my second time. I also had a pedicure scheduled. The young gal doing my pedicure obviously was new and/or poorly trained. Because she took extremely long in doing an average pedicure, Mikas next client had arrived leaving me with the new gal. It was obvious to me this gal had never done a gel mani as she continued to paint outside the lines trying to clean each nail with alcohol as she went. Needless to say, not a good result! Now after 3 hours I am still not finished. Upsetting due to changing my appointment with the person I scheduled it with, Mika, and also poorly managed by her, the owner, by putting an inexperienced girl in a bad position! I am trying to get established with a nail salon in St George and thought perhaps this was the one. Short review- excellent service and we are very happy with our nails. Long review- My family was in St. George for our baby sister's wedding. We wanted to have a girls' day out and get our nails done. My sister looked and saw that Deja Vu had excellent reviews so we booked appointments for that afternoon. There were eight of us that came. Two of us got gels, the rest manicures. All the girls were very friendly. It's a mom who owns the salon and her two daughters, plus one other worker. After we were done the owner walked around to check our nails and make sure we were satisfied. She wasn't happy with one of my sister's nails so she sat down and redid them herself. The manicures held up well and the gels look are awesome as well. If we're ever in the area again we'll be sure to visit again. Thank you so much! read more

A guy that works here is an absolute jerk. All the times I've been in here He is always making rude, uncalled for, disgusting comments to me. I don't even know him, he's never done my nails. Sufficiently disappointed. The pedicure was ok, done by a kid in Jr or senior high, but nothing special. No one bothered to mention that it's a teaching salon. My future mother -in- law got a pedicure as well and the paint she chose was old and tacky/sticky, but the girl didn't bother to mention it. We had to ask for a different one. They took a walk in during our pedicure so we had to wait a half hour for my nails even though I had a scheduled appointment. However, the owner of the salon did my nails. I'm getting married this week in Hawaii and I almost never get my nails done. I've had acrylic nails before and they never looked like this. According to the nail artist, I have small nail beds, which is why the white tips are so far back and chunky looking. But she couldn't explain why the surface was so scratched looking. She took the top coat off and buffed them, but then told me a top coat after buffing wouldn't work so now they still look scratched, dull, chunky and dirty. Also, she used a ton of glue on the tips. She explained that she couldn't take them off and restart because it would hurt my fingers. I leave town for my wedding in two days so she can't just redo them later. Now I have to pay for them to be removed, and redone once I get to Hawaii, and then deal with the extra damage to my nails! Plus, I don't have a ton of time to sit in a nail salon once we get there. Yes, she discounted my services because I was unhappy with the set, but it doesn't change the fact that I have to deal with the repercussions of a bad manicure. read more

Last time I was there her daughter, who is still in high school, did my feet, and it wasn't the same. She's nice enough, but quiet and inexperienced. A clean, quaint little shop with such friendly employees, I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. Most relaxing and thorough manicure I have ever gotten hands down. I'm sorry to say I went here twice and at my second pedicure when they were taking off my polish I saw my big toe nail was white. I did ask what was wrong with my toenail but they didn't really answer and proceeded to put the new polish on. When I took off the polish myself a few weeks later I saw I had fungus on both my big toenails. I had to treat it for 6 months and only have finally recovered. I feel that the unsanitary conditions at this salon led to my subsequent problem. I had never experienced anything like this before in the 25 years I've been getting pedicures. I dont usually get my nails done the last time was more than 20 years ago and they had just started with the electric file, to give you an Idea. The owner was out of town and her girls were running the show, and I just have to tell you from what I saw the place was in good hands. I had an appointment which was a good think because Esi was booked for friday and only had an appointment or 2 for Saturday. She did such an awesome job it might just make me keep them even after my cruise. I have had no problem with them falling off and I just had my first fill this last friday. If I could give zero stars I would. I'm not sure who put 5 stars because this was the worst pedicure I've ever had. We just wasted $50 on this terrible place. First they are not licensed professionals from what I can tell it's a licensed mom and then her daughter and her terrible friends. Second my husband and I came in and they separated us. If I wanted to go by myself I would have. Third she did no nail trimming or filing. She "massaged" my legs but it was more lightly rubbing crappy nasty lotion on my legs and then putting them back into the water. Hmm not how it's supposed to be done. Fourth the paint job. My 3 year old niece could have done a better job. There is nail polish all over my cuticles and skin. I lost count of how many times she put a new layer of paint on my toes. I now have to go home and give myself a full pedicure after I just dropped $50 for my husband and I. And the best part is how much they talked about how many tips they have gotten for the day and the terrible people who didn't leave a tip. Well congrats you got ZERO tip from me.
