I was reluctant to make this complaint as I understand how difficult the service industry can be. However after a repeated experience of disrespect I feel inclined to share so that others don't waste their money here. A few weeks ago, I came in with an appointment. I was asked to wait 15 minutes. I did not mind. When I was told to go to the technician's chair the first thing she says is "shit." She was clearly in a rush to go home and that was reflected in her work. She even tells another coworker something in regards to "talk shit." As if I am not right in front of her and can't hear her. Her attitude ruined my whole mood and still I remained calm and respectful despite my dissatisfaction. I went back tonight to have the nails removed. I had no animosity and was still respectful and just asked for them to be removed. The same woman does not soak my nails but simply pulls out an acrylic nail to pop off all my nails. When I asked why they don't soak, she proceeded to be pretentious and use the drill so "I don't cry." She then tells me multiple times she doesn't want to make me cry, which is clearly a layered insult. She also tells me that my nail bed is thin as she is actively damaging it by propping it off with a nail. Nonetheless, I finish the appointment with dignity and respect. As I am checking out, she asks the manager "Can I go home now?" My nails are now extremely sensitive. If I knew she was just gonna pop them off, I would have saved myself the 15 bucks and the unnecessary attitude and did it myself. If you want a condescending technician who can hardly shape a nail then this is the place for you. The service is rude, lazy, and unprofessional here. read more

I was a regular client, but Got a staph infection the last time I went, which ruined by nail bed forever. The doctor said every single tool, including drill bits must be sanitized for a minimum of 10 minutes between clients. read more

I did like the cleanliness and beauty of the salon. However, my daughter and I both got pedicures this morning, regular not gel , and after 4 hours we both noticed our polish was coming off and felt very tacky to the touch. We returned to have them redone, but they did not completely redo, just touched up my big toes. They did not take responsibility for the polish not being set after 4 hours, just blamed us for ''not being careful''. The technicians were unfriendly and not personable. Unfortunately will not recommend or return. Update - 2 hours after my Redo, my tacky polish is causing grief, sticking to furniture and looks terrible. I can't wait to find another salon tomorrow and get some beautiful toes that don't take more than 4 hours to set !!!!!!! read more

What's up with these nail spas? This "was" my favorite nail spa to go to. But as usual , for some reason they are great when they first open, then go down hill. I have had great pedicures here, but the last two times they have gone down hill. I even paid the extra hoping for a better pedicure. They have cheapened EVERYTHING. Very respectful, took care of me efficiently and on extremely short notice. I was able to get a mani+pedi. They cleaned my feet up very well along with my nails. These people know what they are doing! Credit to Tommy for my pedicure and Lin for my manicure. So appreciative and love my nail design. My only critique is that their nail tables felt pretty grimy while I was getting filed and clipped. While getting my acrylics, a towel was placed underneath so I didn't feel the grime. Would highly recommend them if you need to be taken care of in a pinch or want to go with a friend. I've gone to about 5 different techs here and some are definitely better than others... this time I was pretty dissatisfied with the results (see pic)!! I wish I had my glasses on and watched more closely. If you stay on top of it, then they will do a better job, but it's pretty sad that they're so busy they don't pay attention to detail more than talking to each other and getting their cash tips. read more

I decided to treat my holiday guests to a pedicure. $175 later, I learned: 1. Don't go here if you want your heals smoothed, and I don't mean the cheese grater, just a basic pumice scrub--that's extra, even though it says it's included with the basic pedicure. And this is the main reason I get pedicures. 2. Don't go here if you don't want to be treated rudely. Now actually, even though I was the one paying, I ended up with the rude tech. He got mad when I asked him to help me put my flip flops back on and ripped the toe spacers off. I didn't realize until I got home that he had ruined the polish on one of my toes. read more

Just left this salon. I was "greeted" and I use that term loosely by the most angry/rude energy from a nail tech that I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing! Over worked/underpaid?? Don't know. Also can't remember his name and don't care to. I'm a patient and generally happy person. It takes a lot to offend me. As I walked up to him, I thought he asked my name. He didn't instead he wanted to know what service I wanted and looked at me with such contempt and impatience that I nearly walked out then and there. But my husband had already dropped me off and left to go and get a massage. So I decided to just deal with it. I sat down and he proceeded to drill off the top coat of my gel manicure over my natural nail. And he kept hurting me!! His touch was heavy and he was using too rough of a drill for my natural nail. He never once apologized and kept insisting this is the way it had to be done If he was going to take off the gel. I tried to get him to change the drill bit but he insisted. Finally, apparently disgusted with my flinching and complaining, he got a soaking bowl and told me to put my nails in the solution, then got up with a annoyed sigh and went to talk to a co-worker about me. The solution I Was given to soak in was boarderline too hot and also hurt my now very sensitive nail beds!! But I soaked in it anyway, while talking myself into not ending the appt. And holding back my emotions like a big girl. After a few minutes, he and his co-worker came over to tag team me and explain to me that I they had to get my old gel off of my nails or else "we will be here all day!" Clearly expedience was more important than my comfort or well being!! Really??! I again explained to her that he was using too rough of a tip for my NATURAL NAIL!! So then he finally changed the tip and between the finer grit tip and the soaking he managed to take off the old gel with no further problems. I just wish he had listened to me in the first place and cared that he was causing me pain from using the wrong tip for the job! From there everything went physically better but nothing changed in his chair side manner! Extremely rude person. Ok. Physical and emotional experience aside, to be fair. He did a VERY nice job on my nails. Practically flawless work. That's why the three stars. Otherwise there would have only been one star. That being said, someone needs to stress to this man the importance of the whole customer and not just their nails!! I really hope this salon reads this review, so they can learn from their mistakes and hopefully another patron won't be put through the painful and very unpleasant experience that I went through. I will not be a returning customer and I do not recommend this salon. I also felt that the full set of acrylics I was not so subtly talked into due to my nails being so sensitive after his rough treatment were also not cheap! $67!! read more

Went back again about two weeks later for a mani/pedi both gel. I got the #2 pedicure & a gel manicure and together it cost me $80 not including the tip... it's pricy and the first time i came I only got a gel manicure which they only charged me $30 for. They were super busy on a saturday but were able to fit me right in. I love the place, it can be worth your money just try and always make an appointment. read more

The nail salons around town are starting to rip people off! I tried this place for the first time and was disappointed. My pedicure was mediocre and the polish was left clumpy. I got a fill with a fairly simple design and they charged $55 for the fill. "Because of shape and design"- their standard fill is $22! So MORE than double. What a joke. Don't they realize if they are fair, we will come back? But over double for a fill is just ridiculous. I expect to pay a little extra- but come on. Guess I will be trying out another different place next time. They weren't that friendly or happy to be there. read more

I'm really bummed I'm giving this place a 3 star. But I have to. I have no clue why it's so popular and always so crowded. It's such a rip off. I was really excited to give them a try with my nails. I'm a huge fan of gel nails, but am skeptical about who does them. I hate acrylic, because they lift quickly on my nail bed. I saw they had hard gel as an option, as well as dipped, and soft gel. I was so excited! I sat down, and ended up debating for about 5 minutes on how acrylic nails are not gel nails, and I don't like acrylic and only want hard gel. She would not let up. It was really frustrating. I had a very tight schedule, and needed my nails done. She kept telling me how acrylic is better. She wouldn't let it go, she refused to give me the service I wanted, so I finally just gave in. Less than a week later, my nails are lifting and I'm mad at myself for giving in. There's no arch on my nail beds, and they look as if they've grown out already because of how thick the acrylic is next to my nail bed. I'm so bummed. I was really hoping to find a good hard gel nail salon in them. I guess I'll keep looking... In other news... I found a great new place I took my daughter today, it's called the Nail Bar in Washington. They are legit. Make an appointment because they aren't overly staffed and take great attention to detail. read more

Overall it was a pretty good experience here. The nails were better than the pedicure. I paid for the more expensive pedicure but it was a pretty short experience so I don't recommend going over the $40 option. They aren't enforcing customers wearing masks and don't have any signage for masks. They don't seem to be sanitizing the chairs or stations between customers. If they aren't enforcing wearing masks then they should be cleaning between customers in my opinion. They were very nice and skilled at what they did so the service they provided was good. I personally probably won't go here again though. read more

Took my 9 year old daughter to get a pedicure with me - the man that did her pedicure made fun of her for having hair on her legs and pointed it out to other nail techs. It is totally normal for a 9 year old to not shave her legs! It made her feel self conscious and like she wanted to cry. Totally unacceptable. She also got a manicure and she has polish all over her cuticles. Then he tried to charge me more money than was agreed upon on and acted dumb when I corrected him. He finally did change the price but I was upset that I spent $115 to leave with my daughter feeling bad about herself when she should be happy and having fun with me. I will never be back. read more
