I have been to a number of nail salons in the St George area and Utah County, and none of them have given me the results, care and attention I need for my nails like LV Nails has! Mike is very knowledgeable and does the job the right way. I can communicate what I want my nails to look like and Mike does it perfectly, every time. On Wednesday 12/14 I got a dip polish here. Today is Tuesday 12/20. Less than a week and my nails did not hold up... for the price I would not recommend this service here or come back. He put multiple coats of the dip and filed so much of it down. I mentioned that and he said that the layers are still strong... obviously not. They looked great leaving the salon but did not hold up. I use my hands often and even told him my job and that I was moving and he ensured that they would last. I really regret coming here and usually get dip and have never had this issue. I'm going to have to get them fixed elsewhere as I'm out of state. So frustrating. Perhaps other services here will last but not dip.. read more

I've gone a few times now & I'm always treated well at this lovely nail salon. I'm greeted by everyone when I walk in before asking what [nail] services I need done. Customer service is excellent!! Everyone is AMAZING!! I typically ask for a gel manicure whenever I stop by & my mani lasts over 2 weeks.. I've gone almost a month with no chipping. It's definitely a plus since I don't live close by. I'm originally from SoCal [before moving to Utah] & I usually would have to get my nails done every other week [from other nail salons] since my gel polish would last less than 2 weeks.. I guess you get what you paid for. LV Nails & Spa is my go to place in southern Utah & I won't go anywhere else. I'm a full time traveler and stopped here to get a fill. It's been 3 weeks and there has been zero lifting and my nails still look good. Best I have ever had. I have clear with black tips and you can't even tell they're grown out. They are very family like and care about their clients. If I lived there I wouldn't go anywhere else. An appointment is strongly suggested because unlike other "Asian" style salons, this one prefers to make appointments and is unlikely to have time for many walk-ins. I had tried several local shops here but hadn't been able to find one who valued his work until I found Mike who is the manager of his salon here in St. George. Absolutely AMAZING customer service! We had a party of 4, called early afternoon, and they were able to get us in before our dinner reservations. I recommend calling instead of yelp message, it's just better that way. Great conversation and energy. Not only that, but very professional and talented. They understand nail health and were very careful to clip properly. They had three more parties of 3-4 come in after us on appointments as well. I loved my nails so much I referred two friends and my niece - Mike is so professional, fair and kind. The salon is clean and I always try to make sure I make an appointment in advance because he is very busy and gets booked quickly.. However when I'm in his chair, I love that he takes time and doesn't rush the service( explains why he is booked). My full set is ombré, pink and white acrylic, I love it because I don't have to worry about it chipping and looking ugly when it grows out, my nails look beautiful when I come for my return appt, (usually unless I get hair color on them ) I don't get lifting which is a huge deal for me because I'm in water a lot! To be honest I'm from Las Vegas and I'm in the Beauty industry so I know great nails, it's been hard moving to a smaller town not knowing anybody, it took me a few technicians till I found Lv nails. Great customer service from Tracey. I'm in St George for a convention and did not have time to get my nails done prior. Yelp helped me find this place with all their great reviews. Tracey did an awesome job on my nails. She took her time and really made my nails look great. I would have taken a before picture but didn't want to offend anyone. Mike responded to my Yelp request for a reservation in a timely manner. It's a bit pricey but it was last minute. Salon is a bit outdated and needs someone to help tidy up. I usually pay $15-$20 less in Vegas and salon/chairs/product are in better condition. read more

Used to be a regular of Mike's till today, he does a good job for gel manis and making you feel comfortable but for the last three appointments I've had he's done a terrible job at managing his time. After setting up an appointment and waiting for close to an hour and a half today all I got done were my nails wrapped. Same happened the last two appointment where I had to spent past to 3 hours just to get a gel mani and a regular pedi . Sorry but when you have to look for a sitter and have limited time a three-hour visit to the salon is excessive for a gel mani (even when I tried scheduling his first appointment in the day so I didn't have to wait in line) even with my early appointment found out there were three ladies ahead of me already and he took a couple of walk-ins. With only 3 people working at the time! They got all three ladies done within that hour and still took two other walk-ins while yes I was still waiting. I must add that I was late 10 mins, however that's only because I always have to stop to get cash on my way there since there's a $2 up charge for using cards. What a hassle! Sorry Mike but I thought my regular visits and the endless referrals and people I've brought to you were valued more. Sadly, I won't be back. read more

We had to wait almost 45 minutes for our appointment. When we went to put our feet in the pedicure bowls they didn't look clean. They don't use the pedicure bowl liners and I'm not sure the tools being used on me were clean either. They also cut my toenails super short. On my way through St George after a week hiking and needed a pedi/mani for a wedding in Vegas. LV was conveniently located right off of 15 and there was no wait to get in. Mikey gave me a great French tip shellac manicure and a relaxing pedicure. The only thing I recommend is that the owners spruce and freshen up the place. Great customer service. I am from Salt Lake and was unable to get my nails done before getting here. I did not have an appointment but Mikey was able to get me in after a short wait. I'm not one to review much but when I do it's because I feel my experience could have been better. The place doesn't feel like you're walking into a spa. In fact, it's very plain! There is something to be said about the aesthetics looking nice. It creates a more inviting and relaxing environment. Unfortunately, they were short staffed the day I went, so not their fault on how slow things were. In the end my nails turned out okay. However, they are WAY over priced for the work done. For a gel mani I paid $47 plus tip. I'm sorry but that's outrageous!!!!!! I'm from SoCal originally and everything is expensive there but I pay $60 for gel mani/reg pedi. They have no pricing on the wall and it's my mistake for not asking, but with that alone, I won't be going back for the fact they are too expensive. Excellent pedicure by Mike!! And nails too!! While doing my pedicure he had me soak my finger tips in acetone to get the existing acrylic nail off said that it was much healthier for your real nails to do that rather than tear them like most people who do nails do. I was amazed how long my actual fingernails were.... I elected to keep my own fingernails and he did the powder over the top of those thus strengthening them and keeping them more healthy! You also counseled me on the correct usage of callus removers I had been going back and forth all the time and he said you must go in One Direction or you are defeating the purpose. My husband scheduled an appointment with Mike today for a pedicure and was duly impressed with his ability and knowledge and choice to offer extremely good customer service! This is definitely my favorite nail place in St. George. I had to leave my nail tech in Draper after 7 years, because we moved to St. George. I Tried 7 different salons prior to LV Nails. Never as satisfied as when I went to Mike yesterday. He is fantastic at his job. He asks thoughtful questions and listens to the answers. He did my nails exactly the way I like them. They may do great work here i wouldn't know i never got a chance to see it done. I got my nails done the day before in my hometown and the nail tech did not do the best job.It was really bothering me they needed to be re shaped and filed down a bit . Now i am aware that fixing someone else's work can be hard but i knew that it could be done . I get to the shop and the manager or owner is telling me that hes going to have to re fill my nails even though i told him i had just gotten them done the night before but fine that in its self was what it was he quoted me $30. To file them down .When i asked him how much it would be for a gel color to be put on an he said an additional 25 . I thought that was excessive. Even being from California where everything is so incredibly expensive and over priced . I checked for another yelp review and found Filipina nails just a mile up the road. I was able to walk in and get my nails fixed for 18 and an extra 10 for the gel color and my nails looked AMAZING . So glad i drove a little bit longer well worth it. read more

Van scratched and massaged up & down my legs, massaged with the stones lots of lotions. Also Tanya did shellac mani it was great. Massaged my arms and hands. This is one of the first nail places I started going to when I moved to the area. My first appointment I waited over an hour and a half for a full set. The guy doing my nails didn't seem too concerned that he was so behind and I didn't end up getting out of here until 9pm. On that first set he quoted me 40 dollars and ended up charging me 55. I didn't have any customizations or nail art so it was a huge quote difference. He did do a good job and was very detail oriented but was trash talking other nail salons in the area. He also talked about how nobody worked with him because nobody could do their job like he needed them too. I went elsewhere the second time and they didn't do a great job so I decided to go back here. He got after me for going somewhere else and again he was behind on the schedule. I ended up getting charged more than I was quoted the second time. I have found other places that I like that aren't as expensive and are on time, and detail oriented. read more
