I want to share my experience with SSR Auto Body, which unfortunately was not a positive one. They had my car for two months. When it was returned to me, I noticed unexplained miles on the vehicle, and the trip miles had been reset to zero, which was concerning and never explained. When I asked if my car had been driven anywhere the quick response was no...also strange because I'm no dummy and know you should drive the vehicle for testing, especially with all the new "safety parts installed". It was also clear my car did not go through a proper quality check. The two back seats were not locked into place, which is a significant safety issue and took me quite some time to fix myself. Additionally, the Apple CarPlay, backup camera, and radio were not working upon pickup (these were later fixed after I raised the issue). The car was returned to me extremely dirty--there were leaves in the backseat and thick dirt and leaves inside the glove compartment, as shown in the photos. I asked multiple times if they could install the new license plates as the old ones were smashed, they assured me this would be done...when I picked my car up they still had the old license plates on it. Communication throughout the process was very poor. I had to constantly follow up for updates, and information was rarely volunteered. The hatchback also no longer opens with the key, which was not an issue prior to the repair. The quality of the work was mediocre at best and could have been much better with more care and attention to detail. I truly wanted this to be a good experience, but it was not. The initial estimate was extremely high and nearly resulted in my car being totaled out. The messaging around this felt strange, almost as if that outcome was preferred. Maybe it was because I don't drive a high performance car but that's a bad business decision as I know plenty of people that do and would have referred them. Instead people are asking me where I went so they can avoid the hassle. For context, I drove my car for almost two months after being rear-ended, and it drove perfectly with no odd noises or issues. If you need your car back in a timely manner or expect thorough communication and quality control, this is not the body shop for you. Based on my experience and previous reviews, I am clearly not alone in feeling this way.

Brought my '16 BMW M3 in for a full repaint on 9/25/2025. After 2+ months (and counting), the car is still not ready. Extremely limited / unhelpful progress updates; I have to reach out multiple times to get a call back / update. 12/6/2025 Update: Was promised the car would be ready for pick up at 1 pm. Glad I phoned in (multiple attempts) before making the trip, as the car still has "two more spots" that need to be polished. I would give SSR Autobody a negative 5-Star rating if I could.

Definitely recommend ! They did amazing body repair and left my car looking like new ! The Customer service I received from Maria was excellent, she is very knowledgeable in this field she was so friendly too . Thank you Maria for assisting me with insurance questions I had and making my car rental process go very smooth. Highly recommend this spot .

Richard and the SSR Autobody team did a phenomenal job repairing my 2022 Dodge Hellcat. Unfortunately I got T-Boned 2 weeks after purchasing my car. I knew I had to opt for a bodyshop that's tailored to performance/luxury vehicles, Richard did not hesitate to jump on this repair and handled it flawlessly. The process was smooth and transparent from Beginning to end and after serious work needed on the suspension, body, paint, wheels and alignment. I took my 18 BMW M3 in initially for a rear bumper insurance claim already aware of SSR's great reputation with the BMW community. Since my BMW was already going to be in such great hands dealing with the bumper it was time to inquire about having an aftermarket hood I've always wanted. I had the pleasure of working with Abe, Richard & Celine, all of which were amazing to work with. They kept me up to date with weekly and sometimes daily updates on the progress of my vehicle. They kept me in the loop about which stage in the process they were in with the work and estimated time to completion. They handled all the leg work with the insurance company taking the time and stress away from me the customer. On top of the exceptional customer service, the work they performed on my vehicle was impeccable and I believe the photo stands for itself. The paint on my vehicle is a 3 stage pearl which some shops wouldn't even attempt to paint match. The other refused to take my money to even make an attempt at the paint. SSR killed it! A special thanks to the body and paint technicians who I didn't get a chance to meet but did top notch work. Thank you SSR!

Brought my 2020 m340i into SSR autobody after getting some damage to my rear bumper and rear panel. The guys at SSR did really good on matching the paint , I cant even notice the difference between the old and new paint. SSR quoted me a little cheaper than 2 other body shops I went to. The service was amazing thank you to Celine and the guys, I appreciate shops who take care of their clients, Richard was really helpful on explaining exactly what was gonna be done with the car before taking it in. I can't say enough positive things about this repair shop. Jack and Shah guided me through each and every step of the insurance process before even dropping my car off. I had a comprehensive understanding of how my BMW M3 was getting fixed and received regular updates from Jack to keep me in the loop. I was expecting to get my car back in 3 weeks...after the 2nd week I received a call to come pickup my car! The rear end of my car was damaged in the accident and it looked brand new by the time I got it back! As if it was fresh off the new car lot. I took my car to this shop after being rear-ended. Dealing with insurance was a nightmare, but once i got my car to the shop .I dealt with a gentleman named Rich Conner. He made this process a whole lot more tolerable by dealing with all the headaches of insurance himself. Obviously, being in an accident, I was frustrated. My vehicle only had 16,000 miles. I was worried that the paint would not match other panels perfectly. I know black is a very hard color to blend. I was also worried that insurance would try to put used parts on my car and not replace things. But in the end, I was blown away. Everything looked perfect. Rich was such a stand-up guy, and the work his shop guys do is magic. For such an unfortunate circumstance, SSR put in quality work and made things stress-free. I am very appreciative. read more

SSR Performance is by far the BEST auto repair and performance shop I've been too. They went above and beyond to make sure the entire experience was smooth and seamless as possible. My car was damaged in a accident with left side completely bent in and damaged in addition to the driver side rim and wheel. When I got it back it was brand new! They made the repair process from drop off to pickup so easy and seamless compared to others that will take your car in then make excuses about repair process. All the people there are super passionate about what they do! Super professional and friendly! I wanted to specifically thank Shah the owner for making it such a pleasant experience. Yet another great job done by the SSR team! Shah and Rich helped me do some cleanup on my new Supra. I had them fill in front bumper holes (this should be a crime) and refinish the entire front bumper to clean up any rock chips from the previous owner. This was in preparation for PPF and ceramic coating on the entire front portion of the car which Shah helped with by linking me with Kenley at Electric Auto Films. And the cherry on top, a sick rear diffuser that Rich coordinated the installation for after I ordered and shipped it to their location. SSR has earned and continues to have my upmost trust with any major work done on my cars. I will only go here for my new Supra and you should do the same if you care about your car! read more

My car was hit on the door and rear driver panel. I shop around, but was recommended by a friend to check out SSR Autobody. My experience with these have been amazing. Spoke with Shah and he was extremely helpful getting the paperwork done and informing me what needs to be done. Rich kept me updates the whole time and they treated my car as if it was one of their own. Not only did they fix the body damage, but they also went out of their way to fix parts I didn't expect them to fix. These pictures don't even do the company justice. The car looks brand new again. If there is 6 stars, this review would get 6 stars. I dealt with a towing accident. The tow company destroyed both fenders while towing my car. I was pissed because towing company never responded and I was nervous to deal with the insurance. I took my car to this shop and they told me not to worry and they specialize with dealing with insurance companies. Chris ordered us a rent a car the day I had them check it out. Jack drove us to enterprise to get a rent a car. Yes, they drove us! Excellent customer service. They helped with the deductible. I received my car and the car looked brand new! The car that I dropped off was Kylie Jenner before lips and man, my car looked like billionaire Kylie. lol Amazing job with the dent repair, repairing fenders as well as excellent paint jobs! They detailed it and made sure I was satisfied. They even diagnosed my car free of charge! Also, with the insurance part, they walked me step by step! Jack was the Kobe of the team! Second time seeing them within a years span. Bad luck or unfortunate events whatever the case. SSR gives unmatched service! Jack was very responsive and flexible when it came to dropping off and picking up the car. We have a 2018 Subaru Impreza. It had a deep scratch and dent from the back quarter panel to the driver side mirror. They were able to have my car repaired and painted within a week. The time didn't seem to be an issue, the car looks perfect and like the day we bought it. I highly recommend this shop. SSR Autobody was the only shop I could trust with my Aston Martin DB11. They specialize in rare and exotic cars, but they obviously treat every vehicle with detail and care. They also worked extremely diligently for months with insurance (nightmare) and the manufacturer (bigger nightmare) to get the required high quality parts. They kept my car under tender and ran it every week to keep the fluids running properly. They truly understand how to care for difficult vehicles. The end results were stunning and simply incredible, the car looks brand new. The paint match (extremely difficult) and fit of the parts looks perfectly stock. read more

I bought my truck November of 2020 and the only thing that bothered me about it was the fenders and the RAPTOR sticker on the bed. I brought it to SSR auto body because I bring my BMW to SSR performance and they are one of very few honest shops in town. When they opened the body shop I knew they were going to be the only place I would take my car and now truck. The color matched the fenders perfectly and the trick looks the way it should have came from the factory. Any paint or body work I wouldn't go anywhere else!! read more

Wow doesn't even come close to describing professionalism I experienced. Richard, Leslee and crew are too notch. My 2018 Silverado got damaged by Valley driver and now you can't even tell period my truck looks brand new again. I'm so happy with their performance that My daughter's car is there right now after an attempted auto theft Did a lot of damage to the driver's side and steering column. Always work with reputable shops. I made the mistake of taking my car in for an oil change at a shop left unnamed that I don't normally go to and they pulled my front bumper!!!. Brought my s2000 in for a windshield replacement, and SSR Autobody was able to get more than just that, they were able to refinish my front end, new windshield, and a new soft top as well! There's so many reasons why this is the best body shop in Orange County. Customer service is their best quality. I can get updates on the progress of the repairs whenever I want. Unlike most body shops, there isn't a phone number you can call from 9-5 and that it. Jack and Chris are available 24 hours a day and are always willing to give you time. If I could give more stars I would.. I have a Mercedes Benz AMG GT and earlier this year I had gotten in an accident, a front end collision that damaged the entire front end of my car. Never been in an accident before I didn't know what to expect. I was referred to SSR Autobody by one of my closest friends since she had gotten her car repainted there before. And to say the least it was the best decision I could have made. Richard guided me through the entire process, understanding how it is to go through this process for the first time. He continuously gave me updates throughout the entire repair process, and communicated with the Insurance companies along side me to get as much go our way as possible. Within a few months my car was looking like new. It's always scary not knowing how to navigate yourself through a situation but company's like these are giving me faith to let go sometimes and let others take the wheel. I never do this park on the street but i had to one night cs u was working on my bike, but that night my Adui s5 was involved in a hit an run which sucked around this cov-19, i took it to ssr from a coworker who had work done there, ive seen other cars after being in an accident an most times the paint job is the worse cant say enough on how the paint match so good with the rest of my car you cant see a difference at all A1 to the body shop here an the paint department, ive talked to more then one employee there an the customer service there in on point they all had knowledge of what my car was going threw they never saud let me go get someone to help you not to many places in the world would have customer service like that hands doen i recommend ssr for sure for body work or hit up the performance shop! read more

I initially took my car to a tire shop that was supposedly known for aligning performance vehicles and all things tires because my car was pulling to the right but afterwards, the car was still pulling to the right and the shop said they couldn't fix it and I should get it checked out. They clearly didn't do their due diligence. I then decided to go back to SSR for this fix and they tried everything they could to diagnose the issue and it ended up being a simple tire placement issue that the last shop couldn't figure out. Go to SSR, these guys know everything about performance cars. Rich was nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. I've been coming to SSR for years now and 100% would come back to SSR again. read more

I'm just glad I managed to stumble across a group that takes such a deliberate approach to auto repair. Several weeks ago I had my car broken into and vandalized. It was my first time being in a situation like that and I really had no idea what I was supposed to do. Thanks to SSR, I had no reason to worry. Jack answered all of my questions about insurance, repairs, you name it. I didn't have rental coverage on my policy and SSR offered to pay for half of the bill! This was huge because I commute to work every day. My experience with body shops in the past has been less than satisfactory, to put it nicely. All those bad experiences make me dread having to fix my car after an accident. I've been to many autobody shops in Southern California, I have to say there's very few shops that not only provide exceptional service but also go above and beyond and take the extra steps to make sure your car comes out literally looking like brand new and this place is one of them! I spent a week at another body shop (who's name will not be mentioned) before moving my car over to SSR. Within minutes I understood the vast difference between a normal body shop, and SSR. My car was a definite total loss but the initial shop never picked up the phone, never responded to my messages, and eventually required me to come in in order to get my car back. Was out driving early one morning and had an unfortunate incident with a deer which ended in a lot of damage to the front end!
