The customer service that I got from the girl in the front desk to my service adjuster (James Norman) was far beyond the best! James Norman, my advisor was very detailed and very professional handling my claim with Allstate insurance. He made sure that I got the most out of my claim making sure that I got all brand new OEM factory parts to get my car back to its factory condition. He actually called around looking for dealers where they had promotions going to get the best price on OEM parts. James, gave me updates from time to time during the time my car got taken into the facility. The workmanship at this repair shop has always been flawless. No droopy paint, no paint over spray and all the nuts and screws were put back like how it was. After getting the car back, the car was detailed from the interior to the exterior. My brand new Volvo EX40 was damaged unexpectedly by a falling item in my garage, I had only had it for 8 days. There were two dents at 3 and 4 inches long in both driver and back passenger doors. I came ups on Sterling through a strong recommendation of a friend. I worked with Paula, who clearly knows how to assess damage and the different ways her team can repair issues like mine. I had my vehicle serviced here, and it was a terrible experience. When I got home about an hour away, I realized the coolant was low even though they claimed to have inspected the car before giving it back. They blamed Newport Porsche since that dealership handles coolant, but they should have checked it themselves. I ended up having to get my car towed back to the shop because of their mistake. On top of that, when I arrived to pick it up, I noticed the rear bumper wasn't installed correctly, which took another hour and a half to fix. Sean the GM and Robert were professional, but the quality control here is awful. If I hadn't caught these issues, my engine could have been seriously damaged. After a minor incident with my new Porsche, I learned that not all high end collision company's are alike. Of course, we all expect a high quality result from a body shop specializing in exotic autos...and most can deliver. However, I discovered many of the high end body shops are quietly bound by structured manufacturer partnership agreements. Specifically, there are instances where cars can appear to be 'over repaired' based on process guidelines established within the partnerships for those that hold official certification status. My Porsche was towed to a reputable, Porsche certified, body shop. The diagnosis was a damaged radiator and replacing a couple panels. The first rough estimate was ~$10,000, but the final estimate was over $36,000. It was my understanding the huge difference was the manufacturer's rigid guideline to replace a number non-damaged panels. I was told this was the only way a certified shop would do the work. My insurance company was very upset about the size of the estimate. We needed to find someone else, but time was being wasted. I got involved. I visited, and quickly ruled out. the small and medium sized shops...felt too sketchy. Had my car repaired here 2 years ago... There were a handful of issues I noticed when I received my car after 4 months in the shop. Leaking differential, paint runs, missing fasteners. As I maintained my car, I noticed additional issues like incorrectly installed wheel liners which caused noises that took months to figure out. Most recently, I noticed the wheel that was subletted for repaint is actually not the exact OEM color. Needless to say, I'm pissed off 2 years later. Don't be fooled by their bs marketing, repairing Lambos and Bentleys. The guys doing the repairs don't actually give a sh about your car if it ain't a Lambo. The rep I communicated with was alright though. That was the only half decent experience. Be warned, go somewhere else. read more
