Phenomenal service!! Extremely professional and communicative at each stage of repair on my vehicle. Evan kept me in the loop so I could plan the rest of my life and transportation during a collision repair that I did not expect. Highly recommend !!! read more

I stopped by this body shop to ask whether they could repaint and properly match the orange-peel texture on my liftgate area. Unfortunately, my experience with Sandro was very disappointing. Instead of listening professionally, he came across as condescending and dismissive. He made comments that felt like he was mocking my desire for a high-quality, factory-looking result, and repeatedly implied that my standards were the problem. He also told me that orange peel is part of the original surface of the car part itself, not something created through the paint application process. Based on my research and conversations with other paint professionals, that explanation does not seem accurate. Orange peel is affected by the spraying process, materials, gun setup, technique, sanding, and finishing -- not because the raw part is manufactured with that texture. He also suggested that if I wanted the orange peel to match, I would need to replace the whole part, which did not make sense to me. When I asked questions and explained that I wanted the repair to blend correctly with the surrounding panels, he kept saying things like "does this really bother you?" and implied that if I wanted quality work, I simply needed to pay more. I completely understand that perfect paint matching is difficult and that high-quality work costs money. I was not asking for cheap work. I was asking whether they had the skill and willingness to do a careful job. Instead, I felt talked down to, dismissed, and treated like my concerns were unreasonable. Eventually, he said they could not help me because my standards were too high and walked away. Based on that interaction, I would not feel comfortable trusting them with a detail-sensitive paint repair. Professionalism and honesty matter just as much as the repair itself, and unfortunately this experience gave me no confidence in either. read more

Quality work! Evan took care of all the issues and made sure i received factory parts for my truck. Would use again..

Best body shop in all of OC! It has taken me a while to post a review, sorry staff!! I recently asked Tustin Acura where they recommend getting work done, and they directed me to Tustin Body Works. I took my car in and had Sandro inspect and let me know what work my car needed. He quoted me an amount, and did all the work with my insurance company. The reason I am so grateful for Sandro is because my insurance wanted the cheapest costs possible with using an aftermarket piece, but Sandro worked his magic and was able to get the part from the original manufacturer. I was involved in a minor accident and had to get some cosmetic work done, even though I had small cracks and scratches paint the technicians still had to take off and replace grill/emblem. The work took about 2 weeks which Sandro would call and walk me through the whole process. It looks as good as new!! Thank you Sandro!! read more

This has to be one of the best, if not the best, body shop in Orange County. They make the process of getting your car repaired so easy. Fernando was so helpful and so knowledgeable and kept me apprised of when the car was going to be ready and how much it would be. I highly recommend it to anybody who needs bodywork on their car. They do a superb job. read more

This is the second car I turned in for minor body work and paint. I have to say, they could not have done a more perfect job! Specifically: They turned my car around in three days, the finish work looked like factory grade perfection, not a single swirl mark. Their pricing is lower than their competition, and they stuck to their estimate, in fact the final bill was $100 lower! Sandro has the best customer attitude, fun to talk with, and his staff is also top notch and cheerful. I'll NEVER go anywhere else! (Or maybe I'll improve my driving and I won't have to go anywhere!) read more

Just picked up my car today and want to shout out Ferdinand the technician here! Very great service, constantly updating me on car status so I'm informed. Time frame for repair was quoted for two weeks but they somehow got it done in one. Just all around very great service! This will be the shop I recommend here in Tustin 100% of the time! read more

I was recently a victim on a DUI hit & run. This shop was part of the insurance companies "approved" shops. As an approved shop, they guarantee the workman ship (I'm sure most shops do that anyways). The reviews on Yelp weren't that great, but the shop not too far from my job. I called them and scheduled an appointment for the estimate. When I arrived, the gentleman that greeted me was super nice and friendly. He introduced me an adjuster who would do the estimate. The adjuster wasn't as friendly and energetic as the first guy. He took several pictures and measurements of all the damage. The estimate was based off of the 2022 model as their system did not have the 2023 yet (its already July) They said I can leave it and they can start working on it that day. I called my insurance company to see if they were ok with me to get started on it (they were) and made arrangements for the rental car. I told the employee at the front desk that I would leave it that day for them to start working on it. My insurance company made arrangements with Hertz - the employee at the desk said that they normally call Enterprise as Hertz dont answer the phones. Well, today they did pick up and would be on the way to pick me up. During the repair process, I received 1 update from the repair shop (to let me know the estimate went up once they started working on the vehicle and saw the additional damages). Ok, no problem, I'm only paying my deductible. My insurance called me a couple weeks later to let me know that the car is estimated to be repaired on such date. The next business day, I called the shop to see if they can give me an approximate date so that I can request the day off to get this all taken care of. The adjuster and I went in circles about when I can pick it up - it was more complicated that it had to be. Long story short, I arranged to pick it up the next business day. When I arrived, the car was sitting up front - all dusty and dirty. I walked in and the receptionist was out that day, so they had to run the paperwork and payment themselves. The friendly guy that I met the first day helped me with payment. After that was all taken care of, the adjuster showed up and walked me out to the car to show me it was repaired. Told me to wait about a month before I applied any chemicals or did anything to the paint. I asked if it would be ok to apply my HOV decal. I wasn't given any details on what was replaced or repaired. If OEM parts were used. I've dealt with 1 other body shop (you can see it in my other reviews) and I was provided with updates frequently and on the day of the pick up, I was provided with details (yes, I know its all in the paperwork too). My car was returned to me cleaned and spotless (as it should be). This was just an Ok experience. read more

Accidents happen, but it's worse when it is not one's fault. I was referred to this body shop by my insurance company, which worked out great because it is close to work and home. The best part was the exceptional service provided by Ferdinand. Being a female, it can be intimating going to any repair or body shop; However, Ferdinand was extremely helpful, informative, caring and best of all provided overall personalized exceptional service. He was very thorough with the process, provided compassionate, caring service and left my vehicle looking great. I certainly hope I don't have another unforeseen hit & run, but if I do or need any body related work done on my vehicle, I will definitely be going back to Tustin Body works and personally request for Ferdinand to assist me. read more

I have a 10 year old Acura RDX that had significant damage from someone backing into my car (front right panel and bumper). Tustin Body Works did an amazing job in repairing my vehicle. I took my 2021 RAV4 to get a dinged door fixed. This is the second time I've had doors fixed. The first time was at a different shop. The work by both shops was great. No issues and very happy with the results with Tustin Body Works and the other shop. What set Tustin Body Works above the other shop is the customer service. Sandro and his team make me feel like they care for my satisfaction. Sandro communicated throughout the process. He also helped me fixed a broken lock on a different door. He sourced a more affordable option to a new lock. Thank you Sandro and Tustin Body Works. Hopefully I won't need your services again but if I do, I'll definitely work with you again. read more

Gonna make this a quick review but THANK YOU to the team at TBW for fixing up my vehicle in less than the quoted time. I was a sad victim of a parked hit and run and decided to handle it via insurance. I was recommended to this place and Colin took no time in handling the affairs and inspecting the vehicle. They were ready to do the repairs for me immediately but I wasn't ready to hand the keys over. I had no difficulty dropping the car off based off of my schedule and admittedly I gave them very little time to squeeze me into their schedule so I'm grateful for that. They have a partnership with the local Enterprise rental car shop so if you need to be picked up in order to get there, they'll schedule that for you. The weird part is that there are closer Enterprise locations but the one that does the pick up is the one off Edinger so just be mindful of that when making your reservation. My car was finished in 4 and a half days, where I was originally quoted one and a half weeks! Since I was out of town, they let me store the car until I was able to pick it up. Thankfully they're open until 5:30 PM and I received my car in no time. Since I dropped it off during covid, I was really excited to see that they had completely covered the driver's side with a plastic cover along with the wheel and the floor mat. Lastly, the warranty lasts for as long as you own the car. But after looking at the vehicle, I can definitely speak to its excellent craftsmanship. Thank you!!! (44/100--2020) read more

The people at the front desk and adjusters are so nice and awesome. But the mechanic is not an honest at all. He acts nice but very condescending. When it comes down to it, Aaron will do the most minimal work. I have brought my car here so many times for cosmetic damage never had any issues! I just took my car in for a service and they found so much more damage caused by the accident that this new mechanic missed! Please get the mechanic Collin back. He was an honest dude your quality of work here has gone down since you got this new mechanic. He did not check the car at all!!! Not coming back again! read more

I have been to Tustin Body Works quite a few times and they are amazing to work with. I initially found them 10+ years ago when our insurance company provided them as a option to get repairs for a previous accident. They did an amazing job with a complicated, pearl white paint blend and I have been coming back to them ever since. Sandro has been spot on with quoting, pricing, and timelines and the crew in the shop does great work. Fast forward to today and 3 or 4 cars later, I have another pearl white car that has really bad peeling/flaking on the top roof rails due to faulty dealer primer. Sandro at Tustin Body Works to the rescue again...amazing job. Could not recommend more highly. read more

After they fixed my car, they left the bad smell like dog food inside my car. They are not responsible to clean it. So bad, never come back.

This review is a little overdue. I got my car fixed here in January/February of 2018 after being in a car accident and having my passenger side rear quarter panel and light destroyed. I was told by my insurance to bring it here and I wasn't too happy with the end results. The paint didn't match. It looked very dull (my car is cobalt blue). Additionally, I used to have a grey towel across the rear seat to protect the seat from damage, spills, etc and when I got my car back, there was a Burnt hole in the rear seat. I do not spoke, I don't let anyone else in my car who smokes and I'm very specific about keeping a clean car so this damage was caused while at the shop. Additionally, whoever moved my seat while at the shop, failed to fix the carpet they messed up. I was pretty upset about my car but I was going through training at work and could not afford to lose my only means of transportation AGAIN for the next few weeks so It was never fixed. If you need your car fixed, check out other places. read more

Helpful and friendly Karen offered to carry a box of my belongings from my car, which is totaled from an accident, to the office and to my friend's car. I was injured from the accident and it's wonderful to see someone initiate their helpful hands. She had all the paperwork ready for me to sign and explained what I was signing. Then, she put my copies into an envelope neatly and placed in my bag for me. Little gestures show great customer service and I appreciate it all! The engineer, Aaron, who was assigned to work on my car was quick! He called me the very next day of his determination and he will write the report to my insurance adjuster. He told me it will take 2-3 business days for them to get back to me. Again, without me asking, he told me what I needed and wanted to know. If this isn't a great customer service, what is? Thank you team at Tustin Body Works! read more

If you want an auto body shop that will offer you good customer service, be efficient and go above and beyond; I would recommend this place. I had a hit and run occur to my car a few weeks ago. Luckily the damage wasn't too severe. My insurance gave me 4 options for body shops and after looking at all the Yelp reviews on each place, this body shop seemed like the best one. I'm so glad I chose this place. I took it in on a Tuesday morning with Sandro helping me. He called me a few hours later, giving me the timeframe for when I could expect this to be done, which was the following Tuesday. They gave me a call on Friday afternoon and said I could pick it up that day before they close; 2 days earlier than expected not including the weekend! They were able to order all new parts from the dealer and get it done fast. My car was gorgeous and Sandro even touched up some scratches for me free of charge. If I ever need work done again, I will come back and I will be telling my co-workers and friends about this place. I highly recommend! read more
