I hired this company in Sherwood to get racoons out of my attic and then to clean it. The cost was around $269 upfront to put the traps down and then I was charged $200 more to spray for hornets (even though I then signed up for the maintenance contract which would cover it). So, now $1000 into this, I have paid for the bees are still here, they have trapped and removed 4 racoons. There you go. Pretty expensive. Had to fire them as the cost are crazy. If you have an animal to be removed, you have to call between 10a - 1p. A three hour window, even though their website says they are open 24 hrs/day. They are not. You only get to leave voicemail. I was told that when I called, they usually pickup by 2 hours later. Not! How about 3 calls later and 4-6 hours later. Sorry, that is not being open! . When, I had a racoon removed sooner (during normal business hours), they added on a charge of $50 to total, $160 for a pickup of a raccoon. They put the traps outside, even though the animal was in my attic and so the traps have been attracting all outside animals. They wouldn't set traps in the attic so I have been paying for lots of animals that have nothing to do with my issue. Cancelled the service with this company! read more

I didn't get a chance to actually try out the services. I made the appointment on 11/17 at 8:22 pm, for 11/19 between 8 - 12, however the confirmation that I received was for the wrong amount. It was $169 more than I was quoted! So I called them back right away but couldn't get thru! Then I sent an email twice asking them to correct the pricing and never heard back. However, on 11/18 I had to cancel the appointment due to an emergency appointment that was also scheduled for 8am on 19th. So I called them on 11/18 at 8pm to cancel. At that time the person I talked to said he couldn't cancel the appointment and I'd have to call the local office in the morning. So I called the local office in the morning at 5am and left a voice message saying I couldn't keep the appointment and would reschedule when I had some more time off. I heard nothing more until I got a phone call at 9:30 from the technician, saying he was on his way. I explained that I had cancelled the appointment and apologized that it hadn't been communicated to him. He said that he was supposed to collect $50 from me for the cancellation, which I said that I wasn't going to pay. He said that since he wouldn't be able to make up the revenue for the missed appointment, that was the fee. However, I hadn't given them my debit card and old him that. He said that I'd need to call the office and pay the $50. Are you kidding me??? Next thing I know, I receive two invoices via email on 11/26 for $50. And I've now received two phone calls (one just today 12/28) from them wanting me to pay them $50. I've told them that I have no intention of paying them and now I won't EVER hire them either. They just keep talking and saying we need to resolve this, to which I keep saying I'm not paying you $50. The last thing I said was that they could take me to collections. This is ridiculous. Nowhere on my original appointment confirmation is there anything that mentions a $50 cancellation fee, it only says to call the office - which I did twice! Some nice workers but overall customer service was very disappointing. Company offers a narrow 3-hour daily window to call to have a trapped critter removed and says an employee will call you back "soon" to let you know when pick up will be. I got the calls very late or, more often, never and was not phoned at all prior to their coming on my property and making decisions that affected us. In addition, although they knew I needed very small animals removed, they claimed the best available humane trap was the one they brought ... from which the animals repeatedly escaped after enjoying the lovely bait Squish provided. We basically ended up having to catch them ourselves ... For the high prices we were charged, we deserved much better service. read more

I did not request services for this company and I plan on never using them based on the interaction I just had with one of their employees in traffic. This worker was driving down Foster and at a green light I honked my horn because he was not moving and on his phone. After he proceeded to drive he then drove 5-10 miles under the speed limit. When I attempted to get in the other lane to pass him he swerved and cut me off almost hitting my vehicle. Once we got to a red light I rolled my window down to ask why he was driving in this manner in a COMPANY vehicle he proceeded to cuss and say he doesn't care. I caught this whole thing on my dashcam video. Once I told him that he shut up and speed off. I don't know who this young mans manager is but he is so unprofessional and literally was causing traffic for multiple drivers to prove some point in his head. I had quarterly service set up, but SQUISH shows up without notice, heard our dogs and left, then charged us for the service. I called back to reschedule for a Saturday service, they showed up on Monday. The service tech was looking through the front windows and screamed "come to the door!" My wife is disabled and could not get up to answer the door, so the service tech left. No one called us to let us know they were on their way, or to let us know they could not be there on the Saturday that I scheduled. The collection service called me a couple of weeks later, I paid the quarterly service that I never got. I told the rep that I wanted to cancel the service and he made a note on the bill stating that, and that I wanted Richy Bryant to call me. Six weeks later, another service tech showed up unannounced. I explained I asked the service to be canceled and that he should have called before showing up. He was quite nice and polite, told me that the service could not be canceled without an email to the company, and that I would be charged for the service again, that I did not get, but I could call and reschedule. Never heard from Richy Bryant, the billing rep. There is no email address on the web site, so I called but keep getting RB's voice mail that states he will call back. Twice called and no call back! I paid $269 for these guys to come out after rats got into my detached shop. They did a cursory look set a bait trap and left. They did no inspection of the property to look for further signs of infestation, no inspection of the building to look for entry points. Just set up a couple of bait stations and left with my wallet lighter and my rat problem what it was when they arrived. They charged extra for the second bait station. Definitely *NOT* worth the money. Tired to talk me into leaving a good review for a $10 discount. Saw a rat on my neighbor's roof the next day. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! CALL SOMEONE ELSE! read more

I would not use this company again. We hired them to remove some squirrels that had nested in an attic. They told me they would not repair the entry hole squirrels had made in side of house but they had affiliated companies who would do the repair. After squirrels were captured I called these companies, most did not return numerous calls. One came out inspected, made an appointment to repair and then never showed up. I told Squish about the problem and they were unhelpful. I would never have hired Squish if I knew their referrals were a bunch of flakes. I finally found pest control company that did come out and finished the job by repairing the hole. Cost more money. Do yourself a favor and hire only company that will do the entire job. Remove squirrels and then repair the entry hole. Pass on Squish. There referrals are useless. read more

Horrible business practices and customer service. Learned an expensive lesson and want to save others their time and money. Had an unidentified critter digging under my back patio into my crawl space. Had another company out and they crawled into crawl space and found no nesting or feces yet suspected a ground squirrel. Recommended I call Portland Wildlife Control as they might be more cost effective. The number for Portland Wildlife Control is really just for Squish. My initial conversation was with Sean. I explained my situation and that I had a quote from another company. He mislead me regarding costs and services so I agreed to have them come out to address the critter. The tech that showed the next day had gotten different communication from Sean than what Sean and I had discussed. And the terms or conditions were never laid out ahead of time. I'll own that I should have asked more questions or for more clarification yet I didn't realize I'd be paying $250 up front and then have to pay per animal caught. I expressed concerns about catching other animals than the intended target and not wanting to have to pay. I was told I wouldn't be charged. I wasn't given a copy of the service contract nor was I really allowed to read it. But I stupidly signed as the traps were already set up in my yard. They did nothing in my crawl space. The tech(Ray) was also unprofessional in appearance and communication. The next day I had a tree squirrel in one of the traps. I let it out because it wasn't the intended target and his buddies were throwing a fit on my fence. I didn't call Squish because it was a Sunday and I wasn't able to call during their tiny window of 10am-1pm to avoid an emergency call fee. I called today(Monday) to discuss options for resetting the trap that the squirrel had triggered and was told by Josh, I believe, that I technically could be fined up to $6,500 and face jail time for letting the squirrel out. He was a complete jerk about my issues with the miscommunications from Sean and the tech and wouldn't own any responsibility for misleading consumers. Instead, he told me they don't fully explain their services or tell customers the "bad stuff because then people wouldn't want to do business with us". I told them to come get their traps and that I would take my business elsewhere! I recommend you do the same! Not worth the hassle or your money. Very pleased with my monthly service. I have been using them for 2 years now...will never need to look for another. Highly recommend to everyone! Please beware of this company! If you do chose to try them out make sure you do your research and watch them very carefully! Check the traps before they get to your house so you know what they are finding. This is one of the worst companies I have hired and feel very scammed. I as a business owner would never treat my customers the way they have responded to my complaints and catching one of there employees lying and telling me he trapped a big rat in our crawl space when the crawl space and traps where checked before he came. Mind you they used tiny traps and caught a big one! This company came out to catch a raccoon or whatever was living under my house. They caught a possum. After six weeks of checking they (Ben) came out and installed screened vents to prevent further entry and did the inspection. My heater flex tubing was full of holes and even completely separated under part of the house. They did all of the repairs on the spot. The price was reasonable. I called last night to report a nasty smell in our master bedroom area and they came today, checked around the crawl space and found a dead rat ..in less than 24 hours I went from detecting the smell to eliminating it and have a plan to eradicate the problem.
