We have a rental property in Portland that needed some work after our renters moved out. The exterior was covered in cobwebs and had a couple bee hives in the eaves. Aspen Pest Control came out two days after we called them. They cleaned all the cobwebs off the exterior, knocked down the hives and sprayed the perimeter of the house. We hired them to spray quarterly so we don't have the same problem again. The price was very reasonable. The curb appeal increased dramatically and the whole place feels so much cleaner. read more

I contacted Aspen Pest Control because some of my neighbors had problems with sugar ants. Rather than taking a wait and see approach I decided to be proactive and have the interior and exterior sprayed. Everyone at Aspen was professional, pleasant and well informed. I was given an appointment with a minimum of wait time and a follow up 4 weeks later. I am happy to say that both young men were absolute gentleman, professional and well informed about the process and product they were using. Technician Angelo arrived on time and explained how he planned to get rid of the spiders that had taken up residence in our house (which btw is in a tiny forest). Treatment doesn't smell & is safe for kids & pets, but I put our pets in the laundry room. He sprayed baseboards inside, and also sprayed a different product outside around the perimeter. He will come back in 3 months, as the treatment works slowly over time. Angelo also gave me several bug houses (sticky on the inside) to trap any insects that might wander around under the beds. The treatment worked, and I've been using their quarterly program ever since, because it gives me peace of mind and is a good value. Called Aspen about a mouse problem in our kitchen Monday morning, and they were out here by Tuesday afternoon and had several solutions implemented (bait stations, steel wool to block a hole) plus recommendations for other measures we could take. Aspen pest control came over a few months ago to help with some mice that were in my garage and made their way into the house, within one visit the mice were removed from my home and garage / around the house. They offer a package for visits and are fairly priced, they will come back and refill the bait boxes and spray around the house for pests etc. I had a mouse in my house my cat caught so I called aspen to have them come out, I was a little distressed due to feeling like the mice were gone for good and then having one in my house again was upsetting, the receptionist sent out a technician within 30 minutes and he arrived and went straight to work. He spent at least two hours checking all around the house for entry points and spent a good deal of time investigating and proofing the home to avoid any more intruders! Aspen is amazing! We hired them a year ago because we had so many ants, spiders, etc. Kyle is the technician we usually have at our house and he's great at what he does - efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. He's always on time, and finds bug issues sometimes (wasps etc) we didn't even realize we had. Most importantly with 4 cats and lots of critters residing in our forest-like yard, having pet safe bug spray is super important to me. They make it really easy to get service scheduled on a quarterly time period - there is no self scheduling etc. It's also a very reasonable price as well. We haven't had ants AT ALL (not exaggerating) since last year when they first started showing up. I can't recommend them enough and I regularly refer friends over there when asking who we use. read more
