My entire experience with this company was awesome! Their customer service rep was lovely. She set me up with an appt within 48 hrs. The technician, Steve, called when he was on his way and he showed up on time. He was patient with me explaining the raccoon issues we were having. He did a thorough investigation and then sealed the entry point right there and then. He then called a handyman for me who showed up within 40min to finish the job. The handyman was also great to work with and his quote was completely reasonable. The whole issue was resolved so quickly and easily. It went way better than I could've hoped for. I am such a fan of EcoCare. We have the annual pest insurance, which means we get 4 treatments per year, but the EcoCare team always goes above and beyond. If we ever have any pest problems, we can call them and they send someone out to spray, usually within the same week. Steve at ecocare is the man. I called ecocare first, with an unidentified rodent problem. I ended up hiring a different company. Two months later, this week, I begged them to come back and trouble shoot b/c the company we hired had ostensibly covered all the possible entrances to our house but hadn't caught a single rodent, and we could still occasionally hear something in our wall. Steve showed up two days later, got on our roof (where no one else had previously been), and identified a few other potential entrances we should cover, preventively. Then, gloriously, he figured out our current problem isn't mice. Or a squirrel, the other company's new working theory. It's a freaking sewer rat, and it's coming up from the ground around plumbing inside our wall. Disgusting, but crucial to know, and of four technicians who've been to our home, and more who I've described the problem to on the phone, he's the only one who figured it out. (He also has a cool wildlife/park ranger type vibe going on, like nothing could faze him.) Call Steve, you won't be disappointed! read more

Over a month ago we purchased a bag or rice from the grocery store and stashed it in our "pantry drawer" in our tiny condo kitchen. Little did we know that it was infested with pantry moths! As soon as we saw the moths emerging we cleaned, put out traps and still had moths. So I called almost in tears EcoCare pest solutions. From the first phone conversation in making the appointment for a tech to come out, I felt assured that over time, the moth problem would be history. David came to my condo and spent almost an hour going through my kitchen (it's tiny) and said I didn't need to spray. He gave advice, told me I was doing the right steps and in about 6-8 weeks, the moths would be gone. And if it became worse he would be over immediately and spray. And after his advice and the time with me, David didn't charge us! Unbelievable service! I took cards from David and I have been letting everyone I know to give them a call. My family hired these crooks to vacum crawl space and lay down vapor barrier and seal up areas for mice to enter up into the house. They provided pics afterward to show the completed work. When someone went into the crawl space to double check, it was discovered that they had NOT sealed up the multiple areas per contract and dried feces showed they had not vacumed up all debri from larger animal s down there. They are very friendly and say they pray before work every day as the entire staff are devout Christians, so how they get 5 stars I have no idea. I suspect because they take out the bad ones off their website and becaue people would trust them and not go into crawl spaces to double check their work. Also, they advertise they have a AAA rating with Better Business Bureau, but know that this website has not taken complanints for years, only comments can be entered on the site ...Better Business Bureau simply doesnt not operte like it used to, Please be on guard with this company read more

We actually owe a huge thank you to EcoCare - we had them come out to assess a rat issue (they were seen in our front yard). David did a thorough walkthrough of our property and explained all of the areas he saw potential issues as well as how they could help. But before we took any pest control action, he highly advised me to have our sewer scoped. He suspected the rats were around due to sewer line issues - and he was RIGHT! Thanks to the rats and David's expert knowledge, we had our sewer line scoped and replaced and all before we had an imminent sewage back-up into our home! Whereas both are rodents and need to be gone, health-wise, our maintenance and long term care down the road shouldnt be as severe as mice don't do the structural damage to homes rats do... We've been working with Ecocare for 6 months now -- and we've probably had them to our house at least 5 times in that period. Each time they've come, they've been very nice and polite and they sound knowledgeable. However, we've only seen our ant problem get worse during this time -- and no amount of spraying has gotten to the root of the problem. Now instead of having lots of ants crawling into our bedroom window and onto us while we are sleeping, the ants crawl through whatever poison Ecocare has sprayed, and they die in piles of 10-20 on our window sill and on our bed. Very gross. So much for the promise they gave us so many times of "they'll pick up this bait, take it back to the nest and your problem will be solved." read more

Brandon's knowledge of rodent behavior is PhD level. He is super informative and professional. He is also super responsive. I am about to put my house on the market and needed to move forward quickly with treatment for mice. Brandon came to my house for an assessment on a Thursday. He usually doesn't work on Saturday but he was willing to set me up with extensive traps throughout my house two days later, on a Saturday, in order to get the 3-month process started as quickly as possible. What struck me about his approach is that he just doesn't want to put a band aid on the problem, he wants to get to the root of it. He strives to forever eradicate the issue. Ecocare was by far the best...Daniel was much more thorough than any company with similar fees: he crawled under our houses, in our attics, on our roofs. Inspected our garages and sheds. Made suggestions as to how to help reduce the likelihood of critters hanging out on our properties. And of course set traps, etc. He then returned to clean out the eaves in my garage from a prior rat condo...oh and not only is he very knowledgeable about rodent behavior but he is also an awesome guy! read more

We called and had an appointment scheduled for the technician to arrive today between noon and 1:00 pm. We didn't hear from the company and nobody arrived. We called and they said the tech would arrive in about 45 minutes, that he had broken ribs and was moving slowly. A company that cares about its customers would have called to notify us of the delay or to reschedule. No phone call or notification of any kind. We had to take time off of work to be here for the appointment. It is not acceptable for a firm to treat their customers this way. A simple phone call is the least you could do. read more

AMAZING! I cannot express how nice, helpful, fast, and well this company does business. We called due to rodent issues and they were quick to have Jimmy come out to inspect our property inside and outside of the house. He was very nice and did a very thorough job. After inspecting he came in to explain what/where he was going to place the bait traps to see what specific rodents he was dealing with. When I was 10 I thought that Farmer Fitzgibbons & his cat were the Abbadon & Verdelet of kiddie hell (you know, the place with the nine circles, not the four Swedes altho I've heard they devour souls as well). Now that I'm decrepit, no longer believe in the great pumpkin, & have to crawl down into the basement (alone!!) to do laundry, those cute furry cartoon critters inspire more palpitations and shakes with a few high-pitched squeals thrown in for good measure than warm fuzzies. Um, yeah. Did I mention that my rowing machine resides in the basement & who wants to be jumped by a gang of rodents while rocking out to Fluke & burning kcals? There's cardio & then there's cardiac, ya know? Anyhoo, Despereaux may be dashing & adorable on paper but in the fur while sorting your socks? Not so much. Luckily, one of our friends had a pest problem involving a 20-nothing, bedbugs-cum-fleas, & had a great experience--with Ecocare, not the rest of the unholy ménage & gave us their contact info. Set up a $75 inspection with them within a few days that was thorough and informative. Miles was punctual, friendly, and very good about explaining his findings and reasoning; all this while crawling around looking for ratty entry points. For those of us with furry critters of the non-rodent variety, poison-based pest-control is not an option and glue traps would be a joke if they didn't just piss off these hirsute harbingers of plague (Yersinia pestis all the way, baby). Apparently full grown rats are about a foot and a half tip to tail, around 1-2 lbs, and can easily cart a glue trap or two around while working up a berserker meltdown. Ecocare uses a box trap that's baited with peanut butter that will deliver a lethal electric shock once the rat enters the trap--quick, relatively more humane death & no worrying about a rat wandering off & dying somewhere you can't find them...until the smell makes you want to move to Botswana. He discussed the most likely entry points with us as well as solutions for sealing them off (which could be done by them or us) as well as giving us his professional opinion that our particular Rattus portlandicus was likely a one & done since there was no further evidence beyond the initial excrement gift basket that they were still there which was very refreshing instead of trying to lock us into a 3 month deluxe $250 rat hunt. Needless to say, I'm glad that Nicodemus et al have moved on but if they have another layover, I've got the ultimate Farmer Fitzgibbons eviction service on speed dial. read more

We moved into our new house in November 2015. The following September 2016 I had those annoying little soil/sugar ants in my kitchen and 2nd floor bathroom (little pests were in my walls!). We found Eco Care and they came out and sprayed for us. Unfortunately, the little ants came back this March 2017, just in our 2nd floor bathroom (apparently the walls are a lovely place for them) so we had tech Jimmy Johnson out today and he was great! We've got a plan for recurrences, he was professional and funny and just an ease to work with. The response when we called last week was very quick as well and the gal on the phone was super helpful. I had a horrible ant problem. They had gotten into the walls and were dropping from basement recessed lights. Terrifying! I tried all natural methods, and finally needed help. I asked friends who they'd recommend and Eco Care came up several times. So glad I called them!! The first time they came out, poof, no more ants for at least a few months. I had to call them back as I started seeing a few ants here and there, and that usually means many are on the way. Every time the techs were right on time, courteous, and did a great job in an efficient manner. Scheduled EcoCare for critters in my attic. The appointment was for two weeks out because they were busy. Called them during the second week to confirm date and time (8 AM--9 AM), and they said all good. Tech did not show up as scheduled, so at 9:20 on appointment day, I called to find out where the tech was. EcoCare said he had a home emergency and couldn't come. Office gal claimed they called me and left a message about the cancellation. I was home all morning and there were no calls and no message, and she had the correct phone number on file. Asked if another tech could be substituted, she said no. It is really poor customer service to claim the company called and left a message when it is so obviously a lie! Also really poor business practices to not have an extra or floater tech to cover for such situations. A lost day of wages for me. And I still have to deal with finding another company. NOT HAPPY! read more
