I can't say enough positive about the service we received when we discovered that we had a squirrel family nesting in our attic. After I saw a squirrel go underneath an eave above an addition to our house and disappear I knew that I had a problem and so after it came out I erected a barrier to prevent it from entering again. The barrier prevented the squirrel from getting into the Attic again but it persisted in trying over and over to find a way in. I then went up into the Attic and I saw a juvenile squirrel and realized the adult squirrel on the outside was probably its mother that was determined to reach it. Wayfare came very soon after I called and successfully trapped the adult on the outside as well as two juveniles inside the Attic. This summer I learned I had a full-on rat infestation in the insulation under my house, and it immediately became obvious it was going to be a big ($5k) job. I called many pest places to get bids, and I told Wayfare I was not booking bids that cost money as that would add up too quickly, but that it was a big job so would likely be worth their time to bid. They agreed to waive the bid fee, and did come out, but then NEVER followed up with a bid for the job! THREE months later, they began sending me an invoice for $250 for "the bid," which, as I stated, was never even sent (even now, although the invoice continues to be sent). Obviously they have serious communication issues within the company, and, I can't rate their services as they never provided me any, but, my advice is stay away. read more

Excellent service! Wayfare has serviced our house quarterly for the two years since we moved to this house. EVERYTHING is taken care of--the house had been empty and we had mice, and carpenter ants, and then a racoon took up residence under the deck. Mark and his team are just a phone call away. All of the people who work for Wayfare are professional and friendly. If they see something (a loose piece of siding or a tree branch too close to the house) they take care of it or let you know you need to call someone in. I hired Wayfare Pest Solutions to help me with a rat problem I had. They are by far the best pest solution company you can hire. Not only have they come out same day every time that I called but they are the best price out there. I was only charged about $250 and they have come out multiple times to remove the rats from my crawlspace, put out multiple baits and traps, and guarantee their work for three months. I have heard of other companies charging more for just the set up of traps and $100 per rat they remove. Don't waste your time shopping around for pest control. Just hire Wayfare and save yourself some time and money. read more

Extremely happy with Wayfare. They were fast, effective, courteous, and fair-priced. I paid a fraction of what I would have with other Portland area removal services, and the Wayfare women were able to take care of our problem before the other companies could even show up for an inspection! We had a family of six skunks burrow under our patio and garage and make a home. Wayfare set some traps and humanely caught them. I understand that they will be released to the wild together.
