He found a location the rodents were accessing my office, created barriers, put out bait traps, and keeps my well informed. I do not recommend Eradicon Pest Services…read more When I purchased my duplex in January, the previous owners had already been using Eradicon for a rat issue for over a year. In June, my tenants suspected rats were back. I contacted Eradicon (their name was on the traps), and the soonest they could send someone was 3 weeks out. The technician, Cameron, found that all the traps were empty of bait, refilled them, plugged one hole, and claimed there was no new rat activity. There was no follow-up, no clear communication about cost, and no mention of future service--even though I asked. Just a few days later, my tenants trapped four baby rats inside their kitchen. I called Eradicon again--another two-week wait. At that point, I contacted EcoCare Pest Control, who came within a few days. Their inspection uncovered multiple dead rats, several unsealed access points, lots of fresh droppings, and a crawl space in serious need of cleaning and repair--all of which Eradicon had overlooked. When I called Eradicon to cancel service, I was transferred to someone named Mitchell. I asked multiple times to end the relationship cleanly, but he continued making excuses and insisted I owed $495 for five services--none of which I agreed to. There was never a cost estimate or service agreement discussed with me. Mitchell also claimed the ongoing rat problem was due to the "high concentration of rats in the area"--a statement that felt like deflection rather than accountability. When I mentioned that I would be leaving a review, he accused me of being "retaliatory." This company was unhelpful, unresponsive, and evasive. I wish I had switched sooner. If you're dealing with a serious pest issue, I highly recommend going elsewhere. (Updated August 2025): Eradicon's reply contains several misrepresentations I need to correct. This property was serviced by Eradicon multiple times before I purchased it in January 2025. This was confirmed not only by the tenants, but also by the previous owners' financial statements and by Mitchell himself when I called. In June, I contacted Eradicon after signs of rats returned. Their first available appointment was three weeks out. The tech, Cameron, said there was no active rat activity, refilled empty traps, plugged one hole, and gave no plan or pricing, despite me asking. Ten days later, EcoCare inspected and found dead rats, fresh droppings, and unsealed access points--all of which Eradicon missed. EcoCare backed this with photo evidence. When I called to cancel, Mitchell claimed I owed $495 for five visits, which I never agreed to and was never quoted. He also blamed the infestation on a "high rat population in the area"--a baseless excuse. This duplex is in a residential St. John's neighborhood. I wasn't confrontational--I simply declined to pay for unapproved services and said I'd leave a review. That's not retaliation--it's transparency. Eradicon charged for repeated visits while doing little to solve the issue. I've since hired a more effective provider. Others can make their own call--but I won't be using Eradicon again.

I initially contacted New Leaf because we had a raccoon living under our house (as evidenced by…read morevideo our motion camera recorded) in the crawlspace. We chose them because of their humane way of dealing with wildlife, which was my main concern. The awesomely-super-cool Cory came out to check on our raccoon and found she was a mom with at least one baby. She had clearly been living under our house for a while, as there were multiple nests and tons of damage. Cory gave me all my options on how he can remove her and her family, while also educating me on the ways of mama raccoons. (I was amazed to learn they are very clean animals making multiple nests as needed to maintain a clean environment for themselves and their babies.) Obviously I wanted the most humane and safe way to get rid of mama and her babies. I shared all the info Cory gave me with my husband that evening and we decided how we'd proceed. However, we didn't need to have Cory remove her, because mama raccoon took it upon herself to leave our house that night, and took her baby with her. (Clearly having Cory and my heads poke down below the entry door shining a flashlight at her in the middle of the afternoon kinda spooked her - she got the hell out and took her kit with her as soon as night fell!) Once mama raccoon and family were gone, we had the awesomely-super-cool-amazing Cory come out to assess the damage - the DAMAGE was almost $3,000! Yikes! But not to fear, our awesomely cool homeowners insurance company took care of all but $450.00 - yay! On Friday, June 16th, 2017 - the day of the repairs: Oh my gaaawd! I can not say enough about these guys! 4 (maybe 5?) guys (including the awesomely cool Cory) showed up at 9:30am and went right to work. They protected every inch of my home where they needed access: entry, hallway, master bedroom, master bathroom, master closet - ALL protected against anything icky they needed to pull out of there. They were all nice, polite and considerate. They did a great job - A GREAT JOB! We now have a completely clean, repaired, non-stinky, lovely smelling crawlspace thanks to the awesomely-super-cool team of Cory, John, Tyler, Cameron. (I think these were their names, but I might be wrong - my apologies if I forgot or misheard names - I tried to remember...) Every single person I spoke to and/or met at New Leaf was the definition of professional, well educated in their field, and overall awesomely-cool. Thank you to everyone at New Leaf! -Pamela Anderson - former landlord of mama raccoon and her kit.

New Leaf Pest Control is an awesome company! We had heard about them when a relative was moving…read moreinto a home and needed help with pest problems in their attic. I had been wrestling with repeated, long-term respiratory illnesses. We initially thought we only had one mold spot in our crawl space from a prior bathroom leak wetting our insulation. We suspected that mold may have been contributing to my health issues. Feeling quite ill, and after researching several companies, I spotted New Leaf's owner, Jordan, on a web site ad. I was impressed that he provided his number to contact. I had remembered New Leaf from our relatives, but thought we were outside their service area. Desperate to find a trustworthy company and a solution fast, I called Jordan's number. I explained our situation and his compassionate, caring response convinced me that he was a godsend. I cannot say enough good things about New Leaf. Every experience we've had with them has been above and beyond expectation. When their crew came out to remove our 30-year-old manufactured home insulation, and found it was much, much thicker than they normally encounter and the job couldn't be completed that day, their crew went out of their way to finish the job for us on a day that was not their normal work day, just because they cared about our situation. Jordan worked with us, with great patience, to problem-solve other issues we were having with our home. My health challenges necessitated me staying with friends for several weeks. New Leaf's work made it possible for me to safely move back into a cleaned and sanitized home. New Leaf's prices are completely reasonable and their service is excellent. Jordan is a man of integrity and very knowledgeable. Instead of trying to sell us things we didn't need, he was very honest with us and tried to actually save us money. He went the extra mile to find solutions for us on multiple fronts. We are so grateful to him and to his excellent, professional and very kind staff - for helping us to feel safe and good in our home again. If I had one last thing to say, it would be: GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS - you won't regret it!!! Julie K.

I really had high hopes for this company after hiring Insight Pest Control (nightmare company)…read more This guy said they are well known for being terrible, and out of the gate, he seemed a lot more knowledgeable about wasps; however, like Insight, his treatment didn't work, and we still have wasps all over. I let him know a few days ago that I still saw them, trying to overcommunicate, and he assured me that was normal. Today, I saw many more, and they were still entering our home as they were on Friday when he came out. Additionally, they were entering the living area of our home and flying around our house, which means his treatment was not done properly. I asked him politely to please come back out and fix it, and he said the soonest he could come was Thursday. It's Monday, and we have wasps flying around our home. Not only did his treatment fail, but he has no solution for 4 more days. I even asked if he could come later or after hours, and he did not even try; he just said he is busy and no. Zero customer service and zero care for my home with wasps in it. That forces me to now hire a third company. I have paid over $700 now to 2 companies, and I still have a wasp problem. I would really expect these companies to do better when live wasps are flying around, but they don't seem to care. Sharing this to hopefully save someone else the headache and financial loss. If you want your wasp problem handled, or a business with integrity, I would not suggest hiring this company.
