DO NOT EXPECT this same courtesy or SMALL GESTURE OF RESPECT from this company. I TOOK TIME OFF FROM WORK to be at home to meet Joey from 12-3 for the evaluation/ estimate for the work I needed. 5 PM NOW and ZERO, NOTHING, NADA on their behalf. JOEY DID NOT SHOW UP. Some even had as long as a week to two weeks just to get a quote. And would you believe one even wanted to take a portion my roof off, which jacked the price way up. Some of the quotes I received were way off the charts. I was becoming disappointed with what was out there till I contacted ARG. I couldn't believe how they responded so quickly and how fast they got the job done. All I had to do was send them a photo of the work needed and they immediately gave me a quote. Within couple of days the rain gutter was installed. The instillation only took a little over an hour (one 27ft piece with down spout) and it was done. **** WARNING **** ** FRAUD ALERT **…read moreDo not use All Handyman Service! Let me say upfront that Dennis, the handyman that showed up to complete several small house projects, was very good. He contacted me before he showed up, understood what I wanted done, completed the projects to my complete satisfaction (and delight), and was very friendly. The back office operations and employees are a nightmare. And, I might suggest, are borderline fraudsters. They attempted to fraudulently bill me for material that they did not use on any of my projects. And they attempted to way overcharge me for materials they did use. They refused over and over to provide an itemized list of materials that they were billing me for. Then they told me their Accounting department would only provide detail if I paid an "admin" fee, and that they would charge me a late payment fee if I didn't pay before they left the office for the day. After I threaten legal action, their system was miraculously able to produce a material list. More than 2/3 of the listed materials were not needed or used on my projects. Then when I asked what hardware store was used where they purchased the over priced materials, they said they had those materials in their inventory. For "privacy and business purposes" they would not disclose any detail or pricing information on the material in their inventory. Employees Stacy and Ana lied to me over and over. They attempted to commit fraud and when they were caught and questioned about it, they continued to "double down" on the fraud. I happily had already paid for all labor and was just requesting a list of the items used on my project. Ultimately, they removed all material charges from my bill although I was more than happy to pay any and all real material costs. This business is not legitimate. In my case, they attempted to commit fraud multiple times. I have documentation of all correspondence between myself and All Handyman Service should anyone want to verify the substance of this Yelp review. Patrick Carberry Claremont CA *** Update *** I have rock solid documentation and proof that All Handyman Service, out of San Dimas CA, DID attempt to bill for materials not used, needed or purchased and were not honest on MANY occasions throughout this dispute. I would be more than happy to share the documentation with their management. I am not sure it would help resolve anything because it was their management that was dishonest, refused to show an itemized material list, and then, when forced, produced a list that contained materials that were not used or needed or purchased. They also threatened me with late payment charges if I did not pay immediately. I feel sorry for Dennis, their fantastic handyman!
