NON GENUINE PARTS…read more Came here to get a new battery for two phones and when I checked the battery percentage it said "non genuine apple battery" which I've never seen. This is a problem because I will be reselling these phones. But the worker was telling me I just needed to "update the phone" which is a complete lie which i'm sure he was aware of and just wanted to get me to pay and leave. Then he ripped off the old screen protectors and tried to charge me $20 for two screen protectors BEFORE TELLING ME THEY WOULD BE EXTRA. I was not happy with the "non genuine apple part" alert and told him I wasn't happy and he proceeded to mislead and tell me i just needed to update the phone/showed me youtube videos from 5 years ago telling me "this happens all the time and is completely normal." I'm selling these phones and this will obviously lower the price and he tells me to just show the buyers the receipt lol. He even told me my battery was the original one and any other replacement battery would show that alert. Again, NOT TRUE AND A COMPLETE LIE because I've changed the battery before at another shop and this was not an issue then. After all this and raising a huge stink, the worker then tells me I'm judging him(?) by asking them to put the old batteries back. Wow. It was at this point where his coworker stepped in and started to handle the situation because his coworker clearly did not know what to do and just resorted to getting defensive. I had to tell him the only thing i'm judging is their quality of work which I'm not happy about because I'm paying for it. At this point I realized there's nothing I can do and they didn't want to help me or make things right so I decided to just get my things and never come back. In the end, THEY DID NOT WANT TO PUT BACK THE OLD BATTERIES, EVEN AFTER HIS COWORKER SAID IT WAS POSSIBLE. To top it off he offered me the old batteries AFTER I PAID. The absolute gall. Original price was $220 but the coworker then said just $150. Then the original rude worker started to charge me $164!!! Again, I had to say something and only then did his other coworker charge me $150. Absolutely NOT worth it. COMPLETELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM BEGINNING TO END. I WILL FOREVER TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Not to mention the worker told me 30 minutes. Then after he said he was finished (after 35 minutes) I walked over and was standing there for 10 minutes while he was still working on the phone while eating laughing and talking on his phone.

He was able to diagnosed the problem and provided a reasonable quote on the spot. After agreeing to move forward with the repair, the team there immediately started working on my phone and had everything completed in under an hour. To summarize, service was FAST and EASY, customer service was phenomenal, and pricing was great. I purchased the watch with an American Express card and ended up accidentally breaking it. American Express insurance will pay for a repair, or reimburse me so I can purchase another new watch, (depending on the repair cost). I explained all of this to the man. This process takes about a week for them to approve or deny. I explained that I wanted to make sure that the claim was approved before repairing it or ordering a new watch since I wasn't positive they will approve the claim. Since I would not immediately buy a new watch through FIX HUB, they decided to just not call me back at all after telling me "I will definitely call you back within 15 minutes". They also did not respond to direct messages through Yelp/Email. I also had told the man that I'd drive over to the Utica Avenue location in Rancho Cucamonga to take care of this, since they do offer Mobile repairs. I didn't want them driving to me to do a simple repair estimate that would take 2 minutes. This is terrible customer service. I break stuff all the time and would have used their services and recommended them to others. They could've also made a very easy sale with charging $60 for a simple repair estimate which I made clear that I would pay. They also could've made a sale for a new Apple Watch Ultra 3 when I had my claim approved for American Express. This business obviously doesn't realize that doing a simple thing for customers leads to loyalty, referrals, good reviews, and future sales. Since it wasnt a huge sale upfront they decided just to brush me off. In my opinion, I would do avoid doing business with FIX HUB.

The only thing that initially made me hesitate was that it was a home-based business. I decided to keep looking around and even visited another highly rated repair shop in the area. Before I could even ask if they could repair my controller, they immediately recommended QCQ Repair. That told me everything I needed to know. From the moment I spoke with Jose, I could tell he genuinely knew what he was doing. With over 10 years of experience, his knowledge and professionalism stood out immediately. He took the time to listen to my concerns about my controller, understood how much sentimental value it had to me, and even understood how excited I was to play the upcoming Halo Remastered. What impressed me the most was his honesty. From the very beginning, he told me there was a possibility the controller couldn't be repaired because of how Microsoft designed the Elite Series 2. He didn't make promises he couldn't keep or give me false hope. Instead, he was upfront and transparent, and I respected that more than anything. I dropped my controller off on July 3rd, right before the holiday weekend, and he was still willing to take it in. A few days later, he contacted me with great news--he had successfully repaired it. Not only does my controller work perfectly again, but he also replaced the joystick with an upgraded component to help prevent the issue from happening again. The price was more than fair considering the complexity of the repair and the cost of replacing one of these controllers. What really sets QCQ Repair apart is that Jose genuinely cares about the quality of his work and his customers. His business isn't about getting people in and out as quickly as possible--it's about doing the job right. That's exactly why his reviews are so outstanding, and now I completely understand why so many people recommend him. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, honest, experienced, and takes pride in their work, I couldn't recommend QCQ Repair enough. I cracked the screen on my iPhone 6. I was dismayed to find that the Apple store had no availability until at least 5 days out and then I'd have to stand in that huge line. I started researching other options and came across iCracked. I requested a quote and a guy called me back quoting $149. I told him I would think about it and call back. Then Ed called me and said he could beat that price and that he was available whenever I was ready. He wasn't pushy or "salesman-y" at all, which I appreciated. I called Ed the next day and asked him to come out to fix the phone. When he showed up to my house it was like how I imagine doctors used to make house calls in the 50s...he had his little doctor bag with every tool he would need to do surgery on my phone. He was pleasant and friendly. He explained everything to me, showed me all the inner workings of the phone, and didn't mind me asking questions. When all was said and done I felt like I had just had a friend over to my house! I very highly recommend you call Ed for your Apple repairs. I can't say enough good things. My wife dropped her phone and shattered the glass on the front. And of course I spent the next day right after it happened just calling up our service carrier to see if i had equipment insurance on that phone or not and how to go about getting it fixed and who to call, etc. Well after some phone calls Ed came recommended as an authorized repair professional for Verizon. So I gave him a call and to my surprise (because i wasn't expecting such a fast solution) he responded right away and even came out to my house to do the repair on the spot, same day! I still can't believe how painless it all was (once I found him that is of course). Ed was super informative on how the whole repair process works and walked me through the whole thing. And getting to watch him while he repaired the phone was a special treat. Today was my first experience with ICracked. I was contacted almost immediately after reaching out to the company. I spoke to a man who was unable to help me and quickly got me on the phone with Joseph. I was extremely impressed with the entire situation. Joseph drove to my location and fixed my phone. The screen on my iPhone 6 Plus was about to fall off and Joseph had it looking brand new in what seemed like minutes. The price is very reasonable. I would have paid the same price at location that I had to drive to and they probably would have used cheap parts. ICracked uses the same products that Apple uses so that is a major plus. Joseph also offered a warranty that I gladly accepted and it was only 7 bucks a month. To say the least I am very pleased with the service and Joseph's help. After a faulty software update, my iPhone wouldn't work and I had no back ups (and predictably, I had tons of photos on it from a recent trip!). I called Apple and they told me I had no other option except to return the phone to its factory settings, meaning I'd lose all of my pictures, contacts, etc. I also didn't have Apple Care on my phone, so their services would have been more than I had paid for the phone itself. So I called iCracked instead, and after a bit of troubleshooting, Joe got my phone to work with all of the pictures, contacts, and original settings intact. Not only was it significantly cheaper, but I also got to hear about his cool experience working amongst Eskimos in Alaska while we waited for the software to download. Definitely the better choice! I could not be happier! Ed was fantastic!!! With four iPhones in the house, a few are bound to get cracked. We've done the insurance at $150 for a refurbished phone, made many of appointments at the Apple store only to spend 2-6 hours being treated like an idiot by the "genius" bar hipsters and charged $109 plus tax, and even ordered DIY kits on Amazon and ended up causing more harm than good. So glad to have called Ed. His service was impeccable. Punctual, knowledgable, very informative and well worth the cost-which was less than all the above and far more convenient. Easy to schedule, easy to understand the issues (thanks to Ed) and totally worth every dollar. Amazing service. I have never utilized a mobile "come to you" repair service and especially for an iPhone repair. Joseph came same day as scheduled, was very friendly and professional. The parts used appeared to be of high quality and you get a lifetime warranty covering the parts and repair. He was very thorough and meticulous with the repair. Before the repairs, he tests the phone and then retests the phone after to make sure everything is functioning. You then check the phone to make sure it's to your liking before signing and paying. The battery that was replaced used a battery that failed within a month of use and proper charging…read morehabits. This battery they bought and gave started suddenly running out in 20 mins despite regular diagnosing and low battery mode, and I found out it ballooned (the first battery never ballooned it was only old). The battery's technical "actual" capacity decreased drastically, which may mean it's a bad battery. So I ordered another battery from the proper website and it works fine with that technical capacity matching the manufacturer label. I would conclude this with either the repair store had this type of battery with them all along but it was too old, someone switched the front sticker label to have "lenovo" yet the battery is a knockoff replica from Amazon (my only clue is that it's label sticker doesn't wrap around the plastic case like my newest one does), or the provider that battery was delivered from is not trustworthy and this store should buy from somewhere else.

From the moment I walked in, the employee barely communicated with me and seemed uninterested in helping. Before agreeing to the repair, I specifically asked him to make sure my phone was still functioning properly before replacing the screen. He simply nodded and said yes. About two hours later, I got my phone back, and the very first thing I noticed was that the new screen was popping out of the phone. When I pointed it out, his response was, "Just don't put it in your pocket because the screen can come off." Seriously? That's the quality of work I paid for? When I got home, I also realized my Bluetooth no longer worked and some of the keyboard letters weren't working either. I returned to the store, and instead of taking responsibility, they told me they could fix it--but only if I paid more money. They damaged my phone during the repair and then expected me to pay again to fix the problem they caused. The workmanship, customer service, and communication were all unacceptable. The technicians refused to take responsibility and had made me come back to the store a couple times, wouldn't issue a refund, and acted like none of this was their fault. Save yourself the frustration and take your phone somewhere else. This was a complete waste of money and one of the worst customer service experiences I've had.

So I went in to get my iPad Air fix. I was told I need a new screen. I get a call that it wasn't…read morethe screen and it was loose wire so they reconnected and just charged me for labor. But when I got my iPad back they chipped it and scratched inside of it when taking screen off and left glue residue when putting it back together. They are honest with their job but not safe with customer items. They should not rush things in my opinion and own up to their mistakes and just fix it.
