SKETCHY. RUDE. SHADY. UNPROFESSIONAL. OVERPRICED. NON GENUINE PARTS…read more Came here to get a new battery for two phones and when I checked the battery percentage it said "non genuine apple battery" which I've never seen. This is a problem because I will be reselling these phones. But the worker was telling me I just needed to "update the phone" which is a complete lie which i'm sure he was aware of and just wanted to get me to pay and leave. Then he ripped off the old screen protectors and tried to charge me $20 for two screen protectors BEFORE TELLING ME THEY WOULD BE EXTRA. I was not happy with the "non genuine apple part" alert and told him I wasn't happy and he proceeded to mislead and tell me i just needed to update the phone/showed me youtube videos from 5 years ago telling me "this happens all the time and is completely normal." I'm selling these phones and this will obviously lower the price and he tells me to just show the buyers the receipt lol. He even told me my battery was the original one and any other replacement battery would show that alert. Again, NOT TRUE AND A COMPLETE LIE because I've changed the battery before at another shop and this was not an issue then. After all this and raising a huge stink, the worker then tells me I'm judging him(?) by asking them to put the old batteries back. Wow. It was at this point where his coworker stepped in and started to handle the situation because his coworker clearly did not know what to do and just resorted to getting defensive. I had to tell him the only thing i'm judging is their quality of work which I'm not happy about because I'm paying for it. At this point I realized there's nothing I can do and they didn't want to help me or make things right so I decided to just get my things and never come back. In the end, THEY DID NOT WANT TO PUT BACK THE OLD BATTERIES, EVEN AFTER HIS COWORKER SAID IT WAS POSSIBLE. To top it off he offered me the old batteries AFTER I PAID. The absolute gall. Original price was $220 but the coworker then said just $150. Then the original rude worker started to charge me $164!!! Again, I had to say something and only then did his other coworker charge me $150. Absolutely NOT worth it. COMPLETELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM BEGINNING TO END. I WILL FOREVER TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Not to mention the worker told me 30 minutes. Then after he said he was finished (after 35 minutes) I walked over and was standing there for 10 minutes while he was still working on the phone while eating laughing and talking on his phone.

WARNING: DO NOT take your devices here!…read more I brought my iPhone 15 Pro Max in with minor water damage after a trip. I told them upfront about the issue and clearly said that if it couldn't be fixed, I'd just go through insurance. The staff promised they could repair it and quoted me around $300, so I trusted them and left my phone. After that, it was one delay after another--they kept saying my new screen was "on the way." When I finally got my phone back, it started flickering and shutting off within just a few days. I brought it back, thinking it was under warranty, only to be told that they wouldn't fix it and that the flicker "wasn't covered." The manager, Brennan, will say whatever you want to hear just to get you to leave your device. It's all talk until you've paid, and then suddenly the story changes. I feel completely taken advantage of. If you value your phone, your time, or your money--go somewhere else or use your insurance instead. This location is unreliable, misleading, and not worth the risk. Easily the worst repair experience I've ever had.

Would NEVER recommend this place !! The guy with the curly mustache originally told me it was going…read moreto cost a total of $220 to fix the screen on my google pixel 9 pro xl phone . He told me to leave a $70 dollar deposit and an extra 20 for an overnight service fee to get it done faster , I then agreed because I desperately needed my phone fixed . By this time I have repeatedly mention the model of the phone like five times ! The guy even took a picture with his phone of my damaged phone to confirm the model !! He then repeated to me , "yes it's the google pixel 9pro xl " The next day he calls me to bring phone in because the screen has arrived , nearly 30 min later he called me again to say the screen I ordered was the wrong one !! When he is the one that ordered it so I was a little upset to hear that he had messed up the order but I tried to be level headed and understanding until he tried to blame me for writing the wrong model BUT he is the one who filled out the receipt ‍ he then proceeded to tell me he had to charge me $70 more dollars for the correct screen and I asked him if he was going to add that to the original price of 220 because he messed up the order . You would think a business would take accountability and have a back up plan for something like this because accidents happen . He told me no that it was going to be 270. So I was pretty upset and ask him if I can just have my money back and the phone back . Then he proceeded to say no because he paid for the shipping and I told him "you are a business, can't you return it and get your money back? "and he said yes ! So then I asked for him to give me the phone and my money . He then said that because he took the screen off it's going to be 125 to get my phone back !! So he didn't realize before taking the phone apart , that the screen he ordered was significantly smaller than the phone sounds like some bullshit to me . I ended up taking my phone and leaving !! I went somewhere else to fix my screen and they fixed it literally within five min in front of my face and he said the guy who worked on my phone had no idea what he was doing because he broke the screen even more . Crazy that he tried to charge me for taking the screen off and he didn't even know what he was doing !! Terrible TERRIBLE place . I would recommend the Tyler mall in Riverside much nicer people and professional.

Fast service and great pricing…read more My IPhone screen had completely stopped working but luckily Cracked Screens was open at 8:30 AM. After agreeing to move forward with the repair, the team there immediately started working on my phone and had everything completed in under an hour. To summarize, service was FAST and EASY, customer service was phenomenal, and pricing was great. Cracked Screens is a place I'd feel confident recommending to others and if I ever need another repair in the future then I'll definitely be coming here.

Took exactly how long they said it would and everything looked great. However, my phone isn't the same. Backlight is either super bright or too dark. So if you're looking to get your screen fixed for around $200 instead of $375ish this is your place but just know it won't be exactly the same.

I use this computer for my work, my writing, and so many important files. Unfortunately I had never backed everything up onto a flash drive. Needless to say, I was freaking out! John was so sweet, kind, knowledgeable, and immediately made me feel like my computer was in good hands. He was able to fix it, get me back up and running, and it only cost me around $85! He even told me that based on how well I've taken care of my computer, it could easily have another five years of life in it. I really appreciated that he wasn't trying to convince me that I needed a new computer or sell me something I didn't need. I also couldn't believe this little shop has been here in Riverside off Van Buren since 1996! There's something really special about finding a small local business that has been around that long and still treats people with genuine kindness. If you have a PC or Mac that needs repair, I absolutely recommend bringing it here. Great service, fair pricing, knowledgeable, and most importantly, someone you feel you can trust.
