I was using my laptop to find repair shops and making phone calls was not possible for me at the time and he responded fast. The corners of the steel frame on the Pixel were bent from previous drops and a new one is needed for the new glass to sit flush and properly. However, the Google Store was missing the steel outer frame which is necessary for the new glass to be installed and they said because this model is a few years old and they are not receiving new parts for it. Jesus knew I needed a phone right away so I could get back to my job and my funds were super low and I couldn't afford to spend $400-$500 on a new phone so he did his absolute best to work around the damaged frame issue for me. He managed to get the new glass in there but the bent frame caused several hair-line cracks across the bottom half of the screen but the phone worked again! It didn't really look to bad to be honest. He wanted to make it right for me said he will order another glass and install because he had an idea of how to repair the frame for me and would do so at no extra charge and he would call me the new part arrived. He let me take the phone home to use in the meanwhile. I would absolutely recommend this place for cell phone repairs. Jesus is honest and very helpful.

Fast forward 4 years to today, I bring a tablet by because I had no other option as I was visiting my mother in the area and needed it for work. I took another chance, and this is how it worked out: I have to purchase a new iPad out of pocket and the same guy from before told me that he is not responsible for repairs failing once the device leaves the store. You may be able to find a cheap deal or two here but I would stay far away from the repair counter if I were you. Twice this has happened to me alone. Don't believe the good reviews, they are not genuine and I have the transaction history to prove it. Beware.

My most recent one was very mind-boggling to say the least, and this came after downloading the newest iOS version to my iPhone and I couldn't get my device to boot-up. Likewise, I couldn't use the restore function either, which meant my phone was dead in the water, and I needed help fast! I knew I needed professional help, so after reading the reviews for "Ann Arbor iPhone & Macbook" on Yelp, I knew this was my first go to choice. I decided to drive down to Washington Street, rather than call on the telephone. I talked with Jack on the phone, and he came right over to look at my phone. After examining the patient, he decided to download the iOS update again, and reboot my phone. After that I was able to access my iCloud, and restore the phone back to normal. Jack does amazing work, and if I could give this review 10-stars I would. IMHO, Jack is really the "IPhone/Macbook Whisperer" and does a truly professional job all the way.

The guy told me it would take 45 or so min, and with it being small shop/pandemic times, I left to window shop down the street. That is one advantage to them being downtown, there is more to do while you wait. I left and came back, and it was done. He printed me out a receipt when the text receipt didn't work. I'd recommend if you have some extra cash, time to kill, and want to invest in your technology (when you add up what you spend to how long you keep the phone/device per month or year, its only a few bucks.)
