I had a screen repaired by iCracked and the color of the replacement screen was very desaturated and the pagination movement was jerky compared to my original Apple screen. After the cost of repair + tax and a measly 10% tip, the price was within a couple dollars of an Apple store repair $146 vs $149. Better to get it done at the Apple store for the flat $149 fee and get a good quality retina screen. I asked the technician to put my original cracked screen back on my phone and made a genius bar appointment with Apple instead. The iCracked technician charged me $40+tax for the labor and now I will head over to the Apple store to pay an additional $149 for a quality repair..... So I'm out almost $200 and a couple hours of wasted time for this experience. iCracked claims to use the same quality of products as Apple with their repair services, but they clearly do not. read more

I'd give them no stars if that was an option. Got my screen fixed and bought a tempered glass put on. Days later my screen began to act up. I contacted the guy who did my repair. He told me to take my perfectly good tempered glass off (that I paid for). Still didn't fix the problem. He then came over to try and fix it. Didn't. Couldn't figure out the problem, I suggested the Glass was not put on properly and he assured me he did it right. Didn't replace the protective glass. Charged me but left my phone broken. Then I went somewhere completely different where he just changed the glass and it works like a dream. On top of it, I contacted customer service who were less than helpful. Then sent a follow up email asking if I was happy with my experience. I expressed I was not and that was it. Save your money and go to "U Crack I Fix". read more

Cracked my phone the evening before, called them during work the next morning and then Monte showed up a few hours later... they replaced my screen added a protector and a new case as well as helping out another coworker at my office. They offer a great warranty for their products. The price was steep but reflects all the things they offer including traveling to you within the day and the quickness of their services. I was really busy at school and didn't want to take the time to go to a repair shop, drop off my phone and struggle to find my way back without GPS when classes were over. They came to my school and was done in 15 minutes. It was super quick and easy. Hopefully I won't have to use them again but if I do crack my screen again, I'll schedule an appointment with iCracked. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This service is crap I went to the website, filled everything out, even got an email with some guys number to call for my broken phone screen. I call and call and call and call well you get the picture and NO ONE PICKED UP, so I was like hey I'll just leave a text message and he can just respond when he wants and it's been 8hrs and still no text message. Monte is a pro. Fixed my screen after a mom/pop shop couldn't get it done and Apple wanted to charge me something crazy stupid. The response to the inquiry on the site was 10 seconds and he was at my house within the hour. The entire process was very streamlined and efficient, and if you're honest with the amount of damage to your phone, they stick to their quoted price. The entire process took about 20-25 minutes, and besides ensuring the quality of the phone, Spencer also walked me through the debit card setup and confirmation process, because they DO NOT want to be accused of scamming people :) Polite, courteous, clear about the whole process, and nice to chat with while we were just hanging around. If I would find a negative review I would use it to describe my experience with Icracked. I had a cracked iphone screen, and the technician came and changed it along with other changes for $155. Two days and the screen started jumping and would click on stuff that I don't click on. So it took me two weeks trying to get the technician to come repair it, and they would give me appointments and never show up and keep changing appointments. And when another technician was put on the job, he came, literally did a reset to some settings and told me that will do it, and if the problem prevails, just text me and I'll come replace the screen. And ofcourse, the problem prevails and the last thing they say your frame is damaged (which is not, and I sent them images of my iphone) it's your problem not yours. So for me I wasted $155 with such an unreliable service. read more

Contacted them in the morning about a charging port for my iPhone and got a response from Sadiq within 20 minutes. I was impressed, he told me how it works and what the cost would be. He showed up a bit later than planned but it wasn't excessive, just 20 or 30 minutes. When he arrived he said he misquoted me over the phone and the part was $10 more than originally planned. OK fine. The price still wasn't outrageous, especially for them coming to me. I was OK with paying for the convenience and lowered stress. He started taking my phone apart and found that the part didn't need to be replaced, there was just a loose connection in the phone that he fixed, so I did not get charged for the part which I thought was really cool of the guy. I got an appointment at 7:30 in my town. "Brian" said that would work. He texted me at 6:50 and said he was an hour away. At 7:50 he was still an hour away. I called to confirm this. He said there was an accident in Austin. Told me this service is like going to the doctor meaning my appointment could be at one time, but I could get bumped to a later time depending on other appointments. He made some bs excuse that he had texted me multiple times, and I didn't answer. That was a lie. I had other things to do and found a place that was much cheaper. Would not recommend. They were awesome. Eric was my tech and took care of everything. My daughter cracked her iPad screen. I submitted an online request to have the screen replaced. Eric came to my office in downtown, picked up the iPad, fixed it and dropped it off the next morning. It was extremely easy and Eric was very helpful and communicative. Do not waste your time with this strange operation. It's a bunch of subcontractors who want to take your iPad away to repair it at there home , I guess , but who knows since no one will give you a straight answer on the phone and I talked to them at least 6 times. First they said to me the repairs will be done at my house then they said NO and they needed to take it away to somewhere and let it dry ? I have had this iPad repaired before and no one needed it for 6 hours or overnight ever. They charge way more than I Fix on Forest and they are just strange operation that gave me some bad vibes .
