When we asked about it, they said that's normal. (Incredibly annoying!) Then, shortly after she got a strange color blotch on the upper right corner. We didn't think much of it Bc they offer a "lifetime warranty". We took the phone back today at 10:45. They were supposed to open at 10 but no one was there & it was locked. Called the # & they said they were running late. We continued to wait until the guy showed up. He looked at the phone & said it isn't their fault & that they would need another $180 to fix the problem. He claimed that he thought it was because maybe my daughter sat on the phone. I explained to him that I weigh a lot more than my daughter and I said on my iPhone daily, and have never had the issue. He said, "Well, you have an original screen". I told him that I didn't realize that the screen that they replaced it with wouldn't be similar to the original quality of the screen, & he just shrugged his shoulders. I told him that we already spent a lot of money on the screen & didn't want to pay $180 more. He said he couldn't help us under warranty & suggested that my daughter "go be more careful with her phone". Place stinks. Would never use them again. Headed to buy a new phone now. Wish I had never wasted time or money here.

Before I left, he double checked everything like FaceTime and Face ID to make sure it was all working perfectly. I have visited this place three times this year, and today will mark my fourth. I'm starting to think my kids use their phones as door stops... EVERYTIME I've had an issue, Alpro is still the cheapest and fastest. I've NEVER had a problem with his honesty, I've never had an issue with the quality of the work being done. Matter of a fact, I feel there is honesty in every communication, down to what parts are being used, the origin of the parts, and his opinion on the repair. I have no reason to go anywhere else, I just wish my family would stop breaking their iPhones.

So I pay up, take the phone home, and voila I see I have the error message that I paid extra to remove. Also the new screen doesn't register touches correctly and the volume button doesn't work. I go back the next day and ask the guy what OEM error-free parts did you give me? He shows me a battery box, not realizing I saw the box he opened when he fixed my phone, and it was completely different. When I let him know that, he changes his story and says no it's a different box. "Forget it, just please fix this phone." Then he says the screen he installed must be replaced with another one. I ask how do you know the issue is with the screen you installed? Could it be you installed it incorrectly? He doesn't answer and firmly says it must be a faulty OLED screeen. He said he'd install a new one but that this one will have the non-OEM error message no matter what so he'll refund the difference I paid. Turns out chronic liars can't keep track of their lies. He said he would refund me $30 for this new, lesser-quality screen that would now register a constant error message. But this guy forgot the difference he quoted me the day before for the "better" OLED screen was only $10. He had up-charged me an additional $20 the day before. So guess how I felt when I found out I was conned again. What's scary is this guy has the ability to look you in the eye with a calm face and boldly lie about things I knew the truth about. Granted his prices are relatively cheap, but I value honesty and integrity more than price. What's the use of cheap prices if you can't trust the product and/or workmanship? Who knows what else will go wrong in the future.
