Food was good and plenty of it, had enough for lunch the next day. Had butter chicken on garlic mashed potato's with asparagus, very tender filets with nice breading, Philly cheesesteak eggrolls were large and good for splitting, nice cheese sauce. Wanted desert but no room, may start with it next time. Only flaw (minor) soups came out at same time as meal, it was busy dinner time. Peach old fashion was tasty and well made. Came in last night for dinner, we've been here a handful of times and usually really enjoy it, but the vibe and food just didn't quite hit the mark this time. We started with the Mediterranean board, which was delicious! Lots of great dips and naan. We would've enjoyed a few more grapes and cucumbers though. I also ordered the cucumber mocktail, which was super refreshing and tasty. I would highly recommend! The main issue was the timing, we were seated, ordered, and waited quite a bit. When our food finally arrived, our meals were unfortunately cold. My steak was cold but my rice was a little warm, all fries and Mac and cheese were really cold, and the burger was room temp but we were so hungry we went ahead and ate. I did mention it to our waitress as she asked how it all came out. She was very kind and offered to remake the dishes or comp dessert, which we appreciated but declined. Both she and the manager were polite - it just seemed like a busy night and our order got lost in the shuffle. Just mediocre for our time and money. Service 3/10 Late outdoor seating, we waited 15 minutes for a table that was already cleared when we had arrived, and they said they needed to bus tables. Had to ask for water, had to ask for our order to be taken. We started off with the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and let me tell you these should keep you coming back! They are filled with juicy steak and peppers and have a queso dipping sauce - they were epic! This was visit number 2, food was very good, service was just OK, a server came out and brought us a dessert that we had never ordered she was like are you sure and we were like yes in fact, we just received our dinner so why would we have dessert when our dinner was like maybe put at our table maybe five minutes ago, then when the bill came we were charged for that dessert tried to get a hold of the waitress three different times finally un believing it was a manager walked by. He stopped by the table and we said we never had ordered the dessert so why were we charged for it? He said he would take care of it and he did watch your bill cause you may be getting charged for something. You never ordered when the waitress came back to collect our bill. It's rather high energy, and you just feel happy to be there. Two of us shared the Fit Chick bowl. It was super yummy! Their menu is well rounded with a variety of offerings. They also have a different soup of the day, and specialty cocktails. Let me start by saying, if you want awesome dining options in northern Indiana & want to avoid getting too close to Chicago, Crown Point, IN has you covered! Dozens of restaurants fill the downtown. You can literally have breakfast, lunch AND dinner there and experience almost every culture of food. For a foodie like me, well, it's pretty awesome... and... I digress. We were exploring the downtown shops when we suddenly realized we hadn't eaten lunch (I think the yummy smells we kept passing helped with that). Suddenly hungry, we walked into the next place we saw... and I loved the idea of it because I LOVE Gastropubs. Usually I do a ton of research ahead of time, but since this town seems to feature restaurants as its go-to attraction (and I usually can find something gluten-free to eat at Gastropubs), I figured I'd be able to find something... somewhere... if not here. First, the staff knew exactly what gluten was. Gold star for them and the manager handling their training! Second, the atmosphere was modern with a hint of edgy. Super cool vibes. Third, since hubs doesn't have "issues," he ordered the Chicken Florentine soup not thinking anything of it except that he wanted soup... and he didn't know what to expect, but said it was one of the best soups he's ever had. That's high praise coming from him - he's very particular about praising soup! Unfortunately I couldn't partake in any of the yummy-sounding soup options since none were GF... and I was in the mood for a salad (rare) anyway, so I got the Southwest salad. It. Was. Super. Good. And not just because I was on the verge of fainting from hunger. While the restaurant makes an effort to include many gluten-free options, including buns, they got demoted one star for not having a simple GF soup option. If they'd had a gluten-free soup, well, that would have blown me away.
