First of all, I love flowers. As my child and I walked up to the restaurant the beautiful outdoor area in the front took my breath away. Once inside we were greeted by a friendly host who quickly seated us. Our server quickly fought us water and took our drink order. After our food order was taken it seemed to not take very long for it to arrive. My meal was delicious. I ordered the baked half chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. But they have a gem of a restaurant here. I had the quesadillas and my wife had a shrimp salad. We also ordered the fry basket and they have different sauces you can get with it. Everything was really good. It was kinda tough to pick my meal because they had a lot of interesting choices on the menu. And the service was great! Very attentive and genuine. This is a nice place. The restaurant had a cozy feel with cute holiday décor, and although we waited a bit to be seated, the service was worth it--everything arrived exactly as we ordered. We had dinner here while on vacation. The servers were incredibly friendly. They had the biggest hot pretzel we have ever seen. The green beans were the best I've ever had! I never get very excited about vegetables but I wished I had just a plate of them. The chicken was also very good. We loved it so much we went back a second night. Perfectly cooked shrimp with a spicy sauce covered in coleslaw with tomatoes. The Fiddlehead salad looked delicious as well with lots of toppings. The salads are large enough to share, so come hungry and bring friends! They also have a great selection of house cocktails that are creative and well crafted. For a place with such good press the food was surprisingly bad. My wife's lobster roll had too much mayo, and the mayo was also too strongly flavored, so the lobster was lost. That does happen to bad lobster rolls, but I was even more surprised by what had happened to my lamb skewers. They were covered with an unpleasant, over salted glop; but where I could taste the ground lamb patty underneath, it didn't taste good.
