Very surprised how good this pizza is. I had several flavors * Buffalo chicken * Bacon chicken ranch * Pepperoni * Margarita * Meatball parmesan * Sausage and Pepper The portions for the price were very good, one slice is a very filling pizza. If you're looking for some good novelty pizzas or just a thick crust pizza, I would recommend this place nice job guys especially for a chain pizza restaurant
Fantastic place - nu age pizza place. In case you missed the point, this place ONLY has square shaped pizza slices. Actually, they may have like 1 or 2 triangles lying around but why would you order that? I had a spicy soppressata slice, and a margherita slice - both were outstanding. The space is super clean, and the service is excellent.
First time trying this place and was warmly greeted by the employee working. He did not rush me while I was deciding which slices to pick and was very polite. That already put me in a good mood. The tables are general areas are tidy...even the bathroom. Sometimes places are dirty and that ruins my appetite so I'm glad that wasn't the case here. The pizzas are a thicker variation and was a good change from the typical thin slices I get elsewhere. I usually prefer the thinner slices but I really enjoyed both slices! I'm glad I gave this place a try and will be back!

The dough is airy and light/fluffy and creates an amazing pizza. Not to disappoint, SQ Pizza in Mahwah definitely did not disappoint rather it was a great dining experience to go! So head on over and order a large flat of your favorite varieties. You too will be surprised.
I was in Upper Saddle River visiting my cousin and her husband brought a sampler of this pizzeria home for us to have for dinner. It was midweek. He heated in the oven first and the smell drive me crazy. I couldn't wait to dive in. I liked the cheese one. The pepperoni was also good but the toppings were disproportionate. We all agreed the mushroom was not going on the reorder list. All had a great crust. That was a highlight. The flavors were good. My cousin's favorite is the veggie one.

We weren't expecting it to be quite so large...I think there were 12 slices and it was more filling than traditional pizza. The dough is excellent, more bready than traditional circle pizza but not dense like Sicilian. Definitely not thin crust. We will order from them again. We also ordered the caprese which came with a nice balsamic dressing on the side. The portion was a little on the small side, but then we couldn't finish it because the pizza was so filling. It made a nice salad the next day
Wow, I called up from my hands free phone to place an order while I was driving and woman on other end who did sound very nice she said "I would have to do that online for a delivery, but if I picked up I can order over phone". Ok so I called back and ordered for pick up , she said it would be ready in 25 minutes , I said can you make it 45 minutes she said no problem. I get pizza home and dough is RAW. I called back and woman said "oh, we can make you another one if you would like" I was like are you for real. she then offered me a refund. No apologies or anything. I will never ever go back here .
I ordered this for my clients for lunch today. I ordered several random things for them. For myself I ordered the veggiewich pizza sandwich minus the cheese. I asked the restaurant to separate my food and they did just that. The food arrived on time and my clients enjoyed it. It came to a little over $100 with delivery fee and tip. When I got the chance to dig in it was good. I never had a sandwich like this before and even without cheese it was still tasty. All in all I had a good experience.

When my items arrived they instead gave me a pie with arugula, cheese, prosciutto with balsamic on top. When I called to inquire about the pie and mix up order the "manager" Ben told me that's what I've ordered. When I told him what my order said he then told me that if I put I want prosciutto on a white pie this is what will pop up- regardless if that's not what you've ordered. So then he proceeded to tell me that I can replace the order again (w/delivery fee) or pick it up in person. I expressed that the reason I order online is because the line of work I'm in restricts me from leaving. He proceeded to get nasty stating he doesn't know what to tell me since he doesn't have drivers (a refund was not offered at this time). So I re-expressed the position that I was in and how I wanted to be met in the middle (especially considering it was them who decided what type of pizza I wanted) and he continued to be nasty with me. So I asked how will I know he will process the refund since it was done online and he just goes you'll see your refund hunny and disconnected the call. I called back because I still wanted to ensure it was gluten free as it was clearly not something I ordered and he condescendingly said, how long have you been gluten free? Do you even know what gluten free looks like? Ben behavior was egregious to say it kindly. The fact that they were in the wrong and decided to take the route of being rude and defensive when I just wanted what I ordered is preposterous. NEVER WILL THIS PLACE RECEIVE MY BUSINESS

We love SQ pizza. Their rectangular slices are the best with the fluffy crust and delicious toppings. I have not found anything else in the North Jersey area that is similar to this type of pizza. I also love that they have a rewards program so the more you spend the more offerings towards free or discounted pizza you get. Addition to pizza you can get sandwiches and also gelato. We tend to always pick up to go, but you can definitely sit in the restaurant to eat if your heart desires. read more

SQ Pizza has become an absolute staple for my coworkers and me. We always order a full Americana pie, perfectly crispy and consistently delicious, and pair it with one of their fresh salads. The food is always reliable and hits the spot every time. The staff deserves a shoutout as well: they're friendly, efficient, and keep the space meticulously maintained. Whether we're grabbing lunch during a busy workday or stopping by after hours, the experience is always smooth and pleasant. If you haven't been yet, I'd definitely recommend trying SQ Pizza, and don't skip the gelato. It's the perfect way to finish off a great meal. read more
I was in the area and stopped for a quick bite and was blown away. This place is great! The pizza was very delicious and filling. They have an amazing selection. I no longer eat meat and do not miss it until seeing that they offer pizza with sopperessa! I could also tell they they used high quality pepperoni Both their regular slice & their margarita slice were fantastic. Most places only do one well. I also tried their vegetable and white pizza. Everything was so good that I went back later the same day for more. The staff was very friendly. You could eat in or take it to go. The slices are a little expensive but they are big and worth it. They also have a food selection of drinks. I am looking forward to next pizza Friday! read more

The pizza is great! Probably the best around. However, please skip the chicken wings. They are just simply terrible. I believe that they either just go to the microwave or they have them already cooked and heat them up in the oven. Skip the wings at all cost. They are a big dissapoiment. read more

SO happy to find such a delicious GF pizza minutes from me! Nice thin crust, not so thin the toppings fall through (other pizza shops could take some notes!!) but just crispy enough. AND it's even good cold, a true mark of delicious in my opinion! read more

Wow, I called up from my hands free phone to place an order while I was driving and woman on other end who did sound very nice she said "I would have to do that online for a delivery, but if I picked up I can order over phone". Ok so I called back and ordered for pick up , she said it would be ready in 25 minutes , I said can you make it 45 minutes she said no problem. I get pizza home and dough is RAW. I called back and woman said "oh, we can make you another one if you would like" I was like are you for real. she then offered me a refund. No apologies or anything. I will never ever go back here . read more

Only had one visit and ordered only the Full Pan regular; pizza's incredible. Crust is brick oven crunchy. Sauce and cheese taste damn good. Curbside was great, she brought it to the car. But note, the large pan is a BIG pie. The box is pretty big, so you get a good portion with this pie. Looking forward to eating it again tomorrow! Service was great, pulled right up, called, she came out right at my time i requested. Pizza was super hot when we got home. Worth a try - for the Square Pan Pizza - in my opinion! Looking forward to ordering again. read more

Just brought my kids here today! because I heard great things about their pizza. And all the stories are true! The people are so kind and the ones who took my orders were great! Nice atmosphere. The kids liked the big dolls they have on display when we dined in! Pizza was light and airy and yummy! DOUGH IS FROM ITALY! Haha toppings were yummy! reasonably priced! I will be coming back here! Unexpectedly delicious, thin soft crunchy chewy with a hint of char--really, really good. Margarita was my favorite. Honestly as good as most pies we've had in the city. Sauce and cheese were on point. Thought this was a chain by the look of it but they said it was the first location...family run with imported ingredients (specifically the flour and oil). It was quiet when we arrived at 1 on a weekday but that won't be the case for long I'm afraid. read more

Umm wow. So many choices -- vegan, GF, vegetarian, meaty -- and all are delicious. We tried the BBQ chicken, the white pizza, prosciutto pie, and the GF round. Super nice people, the space is creatively designed and really pretty. We'll def be back bc we were too full to try the homemade gelato! read more

Their pizza is as Good or Better than described in the excellent news article about them! The choice of ingredients and how they are combined and baked is excellent and so delicious. I am already looking forward to going back!!! They are unique (not like regular pizza) and each of the 3 styles that I had were delicious! A little more expensive, but when you see and taste them, you know it was worth the price! Yesterday afternoon at about 3:00, I was very hungry and decided it was a good time to try "SQ PIZZA". I had read the excellent article in the local paper about SQ Piaaza and the owner George Georgiades, who has been a chef and owner at fine restaurants (including Varka in Ramsey) and the founder-owner of Eons, Greek (Chipotle style) restaurants.
