Stay far away from this place. I purchased a very expensive camera set which was poor quality and unreliable. The set up was a nightmare and the system does not fully support remote monitoring -what I specifically asked for when coming in. The owner made it clear he wouldn't take it back even tho I just plugged in one camera to test it and made sure it worked. Not only does this product not serve the purpose I asked him for, it has connectivity issues! I made this investment to help give me a piece of mind but has done nothing but the opposite. My cameras have been offline-not connecting to the server for two days now and I'm a nervous wreck because I can't do anything to fix it or monitor. No playback function, nothing. A total scam and waste of over $700. Go across the street to Best Buy and get yourself a better quality device from a business who stands by their product and if there is problems they will exchange or refund for you. read more

I hate writing bad reviews. I really do. All I wanted was my money back when an item I bought didn't work. I spent 3 phone calls trying to set it up. Even returned it for another unit. Still no luck. At this point they started to blame me. And my wireless router (maybe your router can't handle it they said, which means the product won't work with my Apple time capsule. One of the most popular wireless routers on the market. You'd think they'd know that and mention it up front. But no...). Basically nothing was wrong with the unit, or them. They kept telling me it was my fault. The awful woman who works there then started calling me incompetent. Because I couldn't figure out how to do her job? What does that make her? After 3 trips, multiple wasted hours, and lots of frustration I just wanted my money back. The man who works there (who I pity has to deal with that horrible woman everyday) said fine, I'll refund your money. But this woman could not let it go. Keep berating me and and calling me stupid. I'd say "just let it go" and she'd keep on firing. So finally I had to fire back. I said when someone comes to my bar I don't berate them for not knowing how to make a martini, I just make one for them. Because it's my freaking job. When you sell electronics part of your job is to help and instruct those on how to make those products work. They don't know how. They simply expect you to know how and blame you when the item isn't working. This wasn't just bad service, it was rude, insulting and angry. I don't know what going on in this ladies life but it's certainly making her an awful person. Avoid at all costs. I expect they've only been around so long because there aren't better options near by. If anyone wants to open a similar store nearby it'll be a piece of cake to run them out of business. read more

Terrible experience. I was told that I would not be given any information about the product I wanted to buy until I purchased it. Absurd. I went in to buy an RF detector and they had about 4 of them, ranging from $50 to $180. The woman who "helped" me wouldn't tell me anything about the products' attributes and when I asked how the device works, she told me it comes with a tutorial that I could not see it until I bought it. To that, I asked for her to explain the devices to me so I would know how to decide which to buy and she said "when you go to the doctor, you have a co-pay before they'll see you." Not only is that not an accurate parallel to make but she flat out refused to tell me how the device works and insisted I had to buy it first. So I left. So much for getting in-person, expert help. I'd rather drill down online and not be insulted for trying to give someone my business. read more

Went there not knowing what to expect. Was just looking for camera's for the house for our security issues. This shop has a lot of other stuff that people seem interested in. The Shop "owner" Perry, I think was very helpful & offered to support the products in anyway needed. Even with in shop trial & supported from any questions & issues that came up. You might find some of the items he has on line or Amazon, for a bit less or the same price but this guy supports his sales & even afterwards supported his customers. And yes he has a bit of an accent, but this is Los Angles & everyone does. I had no problem understanding him & came across as being knowledgeable / educated about the products he sells. read more

If I had the option to put negative stars I would. I bought an item from this shop and after awhile I noticed something wasn't right. I contacted Parviz who said he would gladly help I went in the shop and after going back and forth on my matter I was forced to call LAPD. An officer came over and handled the situation smoothly after 15/20 minutes Parviz agreed on giving me a full refund. He made me sign a refund receipt and I told him I couldn't sign if I hadn't received the refund. He said not to worry that by the end of the day he would have processed the refund. That happened on 4/19/2014. He did this agreement in presence of an officer. I called today 4/21/2014 and he refuses to give me a refund. His excuses were as follows. 1. He had to do some investigation. I told him what more of an investigation did he need besides verifying the item with the manufacturer not the supplier. (The Supplier only supplies items from the supposed manufacturer) The item in question has a complaint that only the manufacturer can clear up which they already have done. He is just giving me the run around because after a second call he said 2. He has no funds in paypal so it is going to take 3 days as he has a business account. Lucky him I also have a paypal business account and when my paypal balance is low I can still send money to any individual from my checking directly to them. Yes it takes 3 days or so but it shows an attempt was made. I contacted paypal he has not attempted to make the refund. 1,This man took the product back. 2.Promised a refund in front of an officer of the law 3.Now refuses to refund my money and has kept the product. Up until today I thought this man was honest. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited all weekend hoping to see that he was going to stick to his word. He obviously didn't and this disappoints me. I am usually all about helping our communities small businesses but with events such as this one has made me want to stick to BESTBUY or FRYS.
