OMG DELICIOUS! The guy was really nice. And the store brings you back to when things were priced good. What a great price for delicious soft doughy donuts! DONT WALK RUNNNNNNNN!

They shouldn't charge so much for donuts if there's gonna be flies stuck inside the cases.

They got 8 out of the 12 donuts ordered wrong.

Ordered through grub hub with a very clear note "no nuts, coconut, maple, sprinkles or crumb. Chocolate cake donuts preferred." They sent all of the things I asked them not to send and no chocolate cake donuts. It also said to include napkins and they sent none. When I called and asked for a refund, she said "no refunds!" until I said I'd call my bank and petition the charge and leave a bad review on yelp. Then she said she'd refund. We'll see if they do.

Okay, so there's always been a Spudnuts on Victoria and Channel Islands and only been there once like a long time ago. I was in town this past weekend and my little brother wanted boba and the closest place was Spudnuts at this location next to Fresh and Easy. I was surprise how big it was compare to what I remember from the other location. They have tons of smoothie choices and their donuts looked so yummy, but I was able to control myself :) The very next day BF and I were craving some boba so we stopped by Spudnuts before heading back to the OC. While my BF was deciding which smoothie to get i spotted Custard filled donut holes - MY FAVE!! They were 4 for a Buck, so I got a dozen... it might be just me, but it's rare to find a donut store that has custard filled donut holes so i got so excited. This place is danger when I'm in town now... Their boba drinks are $3.75 (one size), they charge 50 cents for paying with a card, so I suggest to bring cash. As for the employee, he needs to cheer up and actually show some kind of service instead of just handing me my drink and turning his back right away without saying anything if he has a tip jar in front of me. You know what that means, no good service = no good tip or any at all...

I was in town for a business trip and stayed at a near by hotel. My buddies found this place on yelp, so we stopped in for some breakfast. I love going to bakeries and donut stops early in the morning when everything is usually fresh from the oven. It's like you can see those cartoon air waves from the donut's scent pulling me into the shop. For Breakfast: Ham and Cheese croissant, Cinnamon bun, Crumb Donuts, and some bottled green tea. Thoughts: The ham and cheese croissant was simple with a reasonable amount of cheese and ham. There was more breading than needed but that might be a good thing for bread lovers. I like my ham and cheese croissants to be extra hammy and cheesy where my bites oozed with cheese coming out. The cinnamon bun was very delicious. We got it immediately after it came out of the oven. Yippee! It was sweet to the tongue and warm in the mouth. The bun was soft and moist inside and out and tasted really sweet. Too much icing but I ate it anyways because it was fresh from the oven and so fresh. The crumb donut was large and tasty. It made those little 6 pack ones I usually buy from the vending machines to survive a night class look extra dinky and at a reasonable price too! For Service: I'm not sure if the person who helped us this day was the owner or not but he was super sweet. He offered to warm up our food which we would have eaten cold if he had not told us about that option. Who wouldn't like their food warmed up for them? He also picked the cinnamon bun from the batch that just came out of the oven instead of the one on display. Extra brownie points for showing us breakfast newbies from out of town your awesome customer service. Thanks again for waking up my zombie-ish crew with your delightful breakfast selections. :)

Love, love spudnuts! Especially they filled custard holes! However this place charges 4 for a $1! Maybe prices have gone up?

Just bought some donuts here and this little piece of metal was in one of them...

A few years ago when I first discovered this place I noticed how popular the Jalapeño Cheese bagels were. I thought they looked weird and I was very reluctant to try one. I was happy with my standard order: an Everything Bagel. Then one day, I don't know what possessed me, I decided to find out what was up with those Jalapeño Cheese bagels. Holy hell those sons of bitches are good! It's astonishing how good really. Sure am sorry it took me so long to try them. And there are so many variations with jalapeno! Just to name the ones I remember: Jalapeno 1 Cheese, Jalapeno 4 Cheese, Everything Jalapeno 1 Cheese, Everything Jalapeno 4 Cheese Everything seasoning on top of a Jalapeno 4 Cheese. You know, like Jalapeño' 4 Cheese wasn't already mind-blowingly delicious enough. No, Bagel Rock Cafe is like, hold my cream cheese. Then they do that thing they do, with Everything. I really don't know why I'm telling you all this. I know you probably already knew. Seems like I'm the last person in the world to discover how great Jalapeno 4 Cheese bagels are. But who knows, maybe there's someone else out there that hasn't discovered how fire those bad boys are. Bagel Rock Cafe is the perfect place to try one Mikey C says: Highly recommended!

FRENCH CRULLERS FOR THE WIN!…read more My original review of this long time Oxnard establishment (been here since I was a kid and this strip mall had the Carriage Square Movie Theater!) was 11 years ago! Has anything changed??? Nope! STILL, the best donuts in Oxnard! Located next to IHOP & KFC in the Lowe's Strip Mall, the smell of fresh donuts with a friendly staff to greet you, puts a smile on your face and helps perk up your senses up properly! Often times there is a line in the morning (proof of their popularity), however, it moves quickly. Their donuts are well crafted, but there's not just donuts are on the menu. There's also croissant sammies, bagel sammies, & breakfast burritos if you so choose, but I gotta say, their true specialty is... THE FRENCH CRULLER: THEE BEST CRULLER you will have from coast to coast! I have not yet had something that tops this creation here! Outer shell has nice crispness to it, that is rarely matched by other donutteries, and yet the inner core is oh so pillowy soft!!! Mmmmm! The glaze and/or coatings (pink (strawberry because it's Oxnard?), white, chocolate, maple or glazed) are not excessively sweet. Such a great donut! If I could, I'd eat these every day of my life! VERY EASY RECOMMENDATION! Want a donut fix in Oxnard? This IS The Spot! Enjoy ;)

Staff was nice as we were greeted when we walked in. Ordered their Chorizo Avocado Sunrise bagel. Came with a jalapeno cheese bagel with avocado, chorizo patty and sauce. The bagel portion was a bit smaller. The chorizo patty with the sauce wasn't too bad. When they cut it in half, I think most of the patty ended up being on the other since after about 2 bites, the chorizo was gone. However, the other half had the patty portion filled up. Overall with the sauce, it wasn't too bad. Pricing was ok also.

The food and service here are amazing - get…read moresome. 3 GENERATIONS OF POUND CAKE DATA I grew up eating pound cakes baked by three generations of women who poured their souls into every soft, buttery, rich loaf. To me, that is what pound cake is supposed to be: simple, flavorful, comforting, and made with care. LEMON IN THE TITLE (NO SO MUCH IN THE CAKE) Unfortunately, the lemon pound cake I purchased today for over $15 did not come close to that standard. The color, flavor, and dense, bready interior all pointed to a missed opportunity. I was especially disappointed that the lemon flavor lacked brightness. There was no real sense of lemon zest in the cake or icing, which is what gives a lemon pound cake its character and lift. ICING - EPIC UNDERPERFORMANCE The icing also fell flat. Instead of tasting like a thoughtful glaze or cream cheese-style icing infused with lemon, it came across more like powdered sugar and water sitting on top of the cake. It checked the box visually, but it did not enliven the cake or the senses. NO FUTURE SALE HERE (UNLESS THE PRODUCT IMPROVES) For $15, I should have been excited to come back for another one and maybe pick one up for a friend. Sadly, that was not the case. I would love to see this store put more care into honoring the pound cake tradition with excellence, because pound cake lovers know the difference.

They also offer seasonal drinks and fun specialty drinks, including ones with cereal, which adds a unique touch. The pastries are just as amazing.
