COVID-19 protocols listed here by the owner on Yelp are not being followed. The COVID-19 section of this page specifically says everyone is vaccinated and masked, but I put a note in my booking that this would *absolutely* be required to enter our home, and got the screenshotted email back saying "lol just kidding." My son is in the neonatal intensive care unit, and COVID cases are rising again in King County. "Individuals can choose how to combat COVID?" Fine; I choose not to allow businesses who lie on Yelp about vaccination and masking into my home. (While the owner says they've refunded my money, I haven't seen any evidence of that, FYI....)

This company is a scam. We opted for a deep cleaning, which they have a nice list on their website of what the service includes: Kitchen (clean sink out, counter tops, cabinet faces upper and lower, stove top) - Cabinet faces were not cleaned at all, dust was everywhere All exterior surfaces in all rooms - Everything was covered in dust and dirt still Floors are mopped and vacuumed - There's piles of dog hair still on the floor All window sills - See the images below, these may have been wiped, but there was still dust and dirt Baseboards - See the attached images, still extremely dusty with dog hair everywhere Light switches & Door handles - These were not touched, again see the images below, they're covered.... Detailed Dusting - Almost every surface still has dust except for maybe the countertops. The range hood was filthy with dust, the fan was completely covered in dust too. There's no furniture in the unit, it should have been really easy to tell what needed dusting I also paid additionally for a fridge cleaning... which wasn't even opened from the looks of it. They said they did 3.5hrs of cleaning. The employee at our front desk verified (with camera evidence) that the cleaner was there approximately an hour. This was after cancelling on us during our first booking. I quite honestly don't know what they did, the unit was already relatively clean as it was cleaned two weeks prior, and there's barely any furniture in the unit

This place is bad... and I mean REALLY bad. I made the mistake of thinking some of the bad reviews were just "hiccups" for other yelpers and that I'd give them a shot. BIG mistake. - Unvaccinated and maskless workers - the first shock came when my two cleaners arrived, unmasked, and I immediately asked if they were vaccinated. To this they looked at each other blankly and said "no..." like it was strange for me to ask. At that point I assumed they would put on masks, but nope, nothing. Even as I had my mask on. :( - "Move out cleaning" - as I began walking out the cleaning job with my unmasked crusaders and they immediately began telling me that z"scheduling always does this to them and that there will be no way they can finish any of this." I though this was interesting since I paid almost $400 for a move in cleaning they specifically was supposed to be a very comprehensive clean. As they reluctantly got started, I was dismayed to see they didn't even have the appropriate brushes to clean out the window tracks (one of my primary asks), so I supplied them with brushes to clean these....and you guessed it, they still didn't get done. - Hardwood cleaning - I had asked them to not use harsh cleaners on my brand new hardwood floors, but I didn't ask them to dump any drawer dust / debris they found out onto the floors and just leave it in a pile when they left (the pile was literally right next to their vacuum cleaner). - Glass cleaner for.... Anything? - these very inexperienced cleaners were spraying glass cleaner on stainless fridges, showers, floors, wood cabinets, counters... just about everything BUT glass. Must have been on sale at the dollar store. When the two cleaners abruptly left, my job was less than 25% cleaned and they again blamed "scheduling." No way to Contact - There is no way to speak to a person at this company. They only email or txt. When you try to call back the txt line, you get a strange message. Owner escalation - The owner of this company refused to acknowledge (or apologize) that his employee's practices around not wearing masks was unsafe. Instead, he argued he didn't need to make them wear masks. On its own, that is really bad.. but then coupled with the COMPLETE lack of actual cleaning, makes SPRUSE the worst cleaning company (and quite possibly just the worst company) I have ever encountered.

Very disappointed with their service I should have paid more attention to reviews I thought previous customers didn't pay enough or didn't request for specific service. However, I specifically added/ paid all the items and talked in advance to the manager for professional staff. Many of the spots were left (inside and outside cabinets, shelves, window blinds). I won't recommend them. Spend more money and go with another company. Pls keep in mind my place was empty and previously cleaned professionally by last tenant. Still they couldn't provide acceptable service. Photos speaks for itself.

Paid $400+ for their advertised 'move in' cleaning package. Our new house had just had the floors resurfaced and stained, and we needed things cleaned prior to moving in. I selected just about every option on their website and was expecting service that would equate to a 'move in' worthy level. Pictures featured are not before pictures... they are after pictures. 8 hrs of work and basically nothing to show for it. The only reason they get 2 stars is after speaking with the owner on the phone, I was refunded $20 and they sent another technician the next morning to address my concerns. Timely response I guess. Save yourself the money and wipe your own counters/ windex your windows. Or find another vendor. I wish I would have. ***Updated to 1 Star*** Austin- The initial cleaning was conducted on Thursday, 8/19. We spoke on the phone at the end of Jacqueline's shift and prior to any detailed walk through of the job. At that time, my perception was that she had been working for 8+ hrs, and certain things she showed me were very clean. It was very awkward for both of us to have you on speaker phone with an unhappy customer (since the cabinets weren't going to be cleaned of contact paper residue, even though I explicitly called this out in the 'notes' section of the intake form and was never informed that is in fact out of scope), and I felt compelled to share she had done a good job elsewhere. After that call and agreeing to the $20 refund for 'cabinets', we both left the property. I contacted your customer support on Saturday, 8/20 with the pictures. Not the 'next week', literally less than 48 hrs later. It was the fist time anyone had been in the house since Thursday. NO WORK had been done in the house between Thursday and Saturday. It was only when we began to move into the property that my wife and I noticed nothing in the closets had been wiped down, along with the rest of the pictures shared. As I mentioned in my original review, the whole point to hiring a move in cleaning was to address the sawdust left from a floor renovation the week prior. Any consumer looking at this business will notice a recent pattern; sub par results, expectations not being met, and then Austin (owner) replying with language that publicly shifts the responsibility to the customer underneath a poor review.

Save your money, do not hire this company. Go to the bottom of this page and look at the "non recommended reviews". I clean my house every week without a miss and I just needed a professional to come and make it sparkling clean for areas I'm not able to do. I actually cleaned the house for the cleaner before she arrived. We hired this company to do a deep clean, should have listened to other reviewers. The cleaner arrived on time and spent five hours for a deep clean. In her five hours here, she could only do two rooms, kitchen and a .75 toilet which she somehow managed to leave extremely dirty. At one point she was sitting on the floor wiping down cabinets, here is a pic of the cabinet she was sitting by- still dirty. She didn't manage to touch a single bedroom, she cleaned the other two bathrooms in 5 minutes and those are dirty as well. So in the five hours she was here, she cleaned. 600 sq ft area and that too not properly. The before and after pics they post are for cleaners to justify their time. I can find 5 spots in my house that I can clean in few seconds and post a before and after. Stay away from this business and find a cleaning company that actually does a good job.

I looked into several cleaning companies before settling on Spruse, due to their Yelp reviews and responsiveness. I didn't appreciate feeling like I was being pushed into a contract before even trying them out, but I finally got a price for a one-time clean and booked it online easily. They strongly recommended that I say it was "very dirty" and to get the "deep clean" because I had not had a cleaning service before, so I did. They sent one person for just under 5 hours, for a 2 bdrm, 2-1/2 bthrm 850 sq foot home. I specifically requested that they bring extension tools to clean some cobwebs at the top of a tall ceiling that I haven't been able to reach. The cleaning woman did some basic items - like dusting all the windowsills and vacuuming the stairs (we only have carpet on the stairs and 1 room) and cleaning the stove and kitchen counter. However, I noticed that she forgot to sweep or mop half the living room, and never mopped under the dining room table. Even the kitchen was poorly mopped - I re-mopped it and had a bunch of gunk on my mop. When I lifted the couch cushions, they were not vacuumed at all. And that's just the main floor - I haven't looked upstairs yet in the bedroom, but my cobwebs are still on the ceiling that I can't reach. I didn't expect them to clean the windows or inside the window tracks (which are dirty and do need work) but I expected a deep clean to at least mop my floors properly and clean cobwebs and vacuum the couch. Still on the lookout for a good house cleaner.

They agreed that the move out cleaning would include wiping the tops of appliances...the second cleaner never did that

EDIT: How does a standard move out cleaning of a STUDIO apartment take 5 to 9 hours? I had 3 separate Spruce cleaners take a total of 8 hours altogether, including the time spent waiting for the late ones. The owner's response about timing doesn't make sense. Anyway, at least they refunded some money after I posted my review. Pay attention to the other reviews. I'm not the only customer who experienced late cleaners, poor communication, and horrible "cleaning". Try a different company.

I wish I'd done this sooner. I pride myself on being clean snd organized, but between work and constant travel this summer, I haven't had time to give my place a good clean. Drew was great. I worked while they cleaned and they even asked questions to confirm I was getting what I needed. Most of which I wasn't sure how to answer because I've never had someone clean for me before. I just let them work. But he reassured me that if things come up, each time I can take notes on what I wanted focused on, or even add things like cleaning out the fridge or cleaning the stove. But honestly, it's really just the basic clean that I needed for now. I decided to go ahead and do this monthly. They just did a great job. And is such a relief. Thank you.

There are few facts before any personal comments. 1. They don't have professional planning on cleaners' schedule, nor coordinator. Average waiting is 1 hours and more for your scheduled appointment. 2. The wrong phone number can be given to your cleaner and you won't know it, cause you ententes the correct number and the online confirmation page shows the correct number as well. 3. Not all team members are professional, if you cannot be present during the whole cleaning process, you need to think about the risk. Here are some personal experience for a recent booked move out cleaning experience. Though I mentioned "please let me know 30 minutes before your eta arrival time" repeatedly, I waited over 1 hour in my unit for the cleaner to arrive. After she arrived, I leave the unit to the cleaner and did not come back on the same day to check it out. 1 days later when I come back and check, I'm beyond shocked. The cleaner wax and polished my bamboo floor. First of all, bamboo floor don't need any waxing at all. Secondly, why would a cleaning company polish/wax floor during a move out clean?! Third, it was horribly done, the floor looks super messy with foot prints everywhere. Besides, all cabinets were left uncleaned, the kitchen surfaces have multiple dirts spots too, which I can remove easily by wiping with paper towel. I have the most horrible weekend dealing with Austin the owner on the fix, spend 2.5 hours waiting for their team to arrive and fix it. Not saying they have a bad attitude, all experts from Spruse team are polite and repeatedly apologize to this situation. Austin tried his best on sending 3 experienced cleaners to my place, we just got beaten by the unbelievable floor condition. I let the team go around 7pm and cleaned by myself till 10pm that day to only to get the entrance area cleaned. On the next day they send me the cleaner who is responsible for this messy floor. I appreciate her courage to admit the mistake and taking responsibility of it. And I don't want to blame her further more with all the effort she put in to correct this mistake. This whole experience is just horrible, cause my goal of hiring a cleaning service is to save time. In opposite it cost me tons of hours cleaning the damn waxed floor, and having multiple batches of Spruse experts in to redo the clean. That's really the risk I didn't anticipate.

We rented an apartment that had a nice big balcony which the owners didn't clean before we moved in. I tried doing it myself but it was too time consuming (the railing was basically just grids). I found spruse cleaners through yelp, got a great discount for first time users, and was matched with Darren for the cleaning job. Easy to communicate over text. He was on time with all the tools that he needed. And he did a great job cleaning the balcony in the given time. Very happy overall Check out the after picture.

Customer beware!!! This business is a SCAM. They had their BBB license REVOKED. Like the many other negative reviews on this business, I have had major issues with this "company". I signed up for the monthly subscription. The first cleaning was done very poorly. I immediately cancelled. I rarely if ever leave poor yelp reviews and chose to cancel my service rather than write a review. However, I was charged again the next month and received a text that my cleaner was on the way. They apologized and refunded and said they resolved the issue. No problem. Again the next month I was charged to my credit card, this time they didn't even try to send anyone! When I messaged them they said I had not cancelled. It was only when I forwarded them our prior correspondence for the same issue did they refund me. Still I chose not to do anything. Now monthly later I received a THIRD charge for service I did not receive after I've been told three times by the owner that he personally removed me from my system. I believe they are trying to sneak charged passed unassuming customers who believe they already cancelled their membership. Beware! I also received a snarky text from the owner incorrectly noting I left a poor review. It was actually another Carly! When I told him it was not me he said I was the only Carly they ever serviced. Clearly not true. I also believe many of these "positive reviews" are fake and will also be notifying Yelp accordingly.

This is my first time to use moving-in/out service, so it is a little hard for me to choose the best service provider. I got around 10 quotes, and finally chose Spruse due to its availability, flexibility and good price. Some providers will send 3~5 cleaners and do the job in 2 hours. It may be OK, but I feel they must be too rush to finish to job carefully. Spruse sent one cleaner Lorenzo and he worked in my home for around 8 hours. He worked very carefully and patiently and the results exceeded my expectation. Lorenzo is also very nice and considerable, he helped me clean the decorative curtains and light fixtures upon my request, even though it is not in my cleaning notes. Highly recommended! read more

The house smelled really good after the cleaner left. The floor was nice and clean which I loved and the bathrooms and kitchen were sparkling. Upon inspection there were just a few dusty spots that were missed. Also I would have loved if the cleaner brought his own mask. I'm giving 5 stars overall but I'm not sure if the price that I paid for the deep cleaning is right. read more

Scheduled a cleaning a week in advance, they charged me before the service was performed and I had to cancel the service 3 days in advance since I needed to leave the apartment due to flooding. They promised a refund since I canceled more than 24 hours in advance and to this day they haven't refunded my money. Sent an e-mail to customer service without any reply. As of now, they have robbed me, since they charged me for a service they didn't provide. It's been almost a month. read more

I am writing this review with having received two deep cleanings from them. One for our new house before we moved in and one for our rental house we had left. I'll start with the good things. Austin is very responsive and professional in every interaction we had with him through text or calling. The cleaners themselves (I had marisol and Marco, then Lorenzo) work hard and do a great job. The bad is that for both of these services the staff was over 2.5 hours late. In a lot of these reviews Austin states there is a "time window" which I understand. The staff was 30-45 minutes late beyond the 2 hour time window. This may be fine for regular cleanings when you're at home/work and it doesn't matter when they show up, but when you're waiting in your car for over 2.5 hours for someone to show up at your empty rental house, it's extremely infuriating. This could easily be a 5 star business if their employees actually showed up on time. read more

The cleaners were very nice and friendly, but they clearly had a packed schedule, which may explain some of the missed areas and signs of rushed work. The entire kitchen counter and stovetop went uncleaned. Based on the debris, assume floor went uncleaned as well. The bathroom countertops had hair on them, probably from a dirty rag. They came back again to go over the missed areas, but I'd say if you're looking for a thorough move-in clean, this might not be the best. read more

The cleaner assigned did her job well, however, I faced a lot of issues with having a cleaner arrive at the time the cleaning was scheduled. I hope they sort out their scheduling systems and communication with the cleaners better. However, I would also like to add that the owner took a lot of efforts to make sure we got a replacement cleaner the same day. read more

Renee did an amazing job on our house. I have not had a professional cleaning done since before covid and the house was starting to show it. So much so Renee spent 4 hours one day and had to come back the next to finish. Showed up on time both days, showed my house and cat all of the love! asked me to go over everything Renee came in and did a great job hitting every spot in the house. Had a very nice experience with Spruse House Cleaning for my 1 bed apartment. I wanted to move in on weekend and reached out via Yelp for a quote and received a speedy response. Communication with them throughout the process was smooth and very professional. I was quoted a fair price and settled on a day and time, as well as an estimate on time required to complete the cleaning. The crew of 2 people showed up exactly on the schedule time. After a quick walkthrough, they got straight to work. Two hours later, which is about how long it was estimated to take, they wrapped up. Overall they did a good job. Well, I had to postpone because I was sick and they were very quick to respond and reschedule. Then the morning they were due I didn't hear a word if they were coming or not. Finally 4 hrs later they called to see if I was home. I said yes because they had already charged me. I was suppose to pay extra for cleaning the fridge but then ended up doing it that morning because I didn't think they would show. Finally they did show. 3 ladies. They had no hard wood floor cleaner so I had them use mine. Before leaving I checked my bedroom and they hadn't even dusted yet 2 of the girls were outside by the car. So I asked them to clean it. All they had done was vacuum. Overall I want my extra charge for the fridge back and I think I would not hire them again. read more

Fair pricing, responsive customer service and generally, good cleaners. Deducting 1 star only because I've had some scheduling/billing issues in the past (which Spruse always resolves). Sean, Lorenzo, Jackii and Chloe have been great cleaners but have also had others who aren't as good. read more

WARNING!! WARNING! Dishonest Thieves. Do not go with this company, if you value your possessions. I had my bicycle stolen and a bad review for this place is not going to bring me justice. I should have known the fact they fit me in quickly and was cheap was a good indicator the outcome was going to be disastrous. The guy I spoke to Austin was nice enough at the onset to fit our town-home in for a cleaning and have a guy call Brian to come in and clean. The deep cleaning was just ok, there were enough stuff that was not properly done for example bathroom shower, grout was not cleaned, dust on baseboards etc. By far that was not the worst part, having things stolen is the worst position to be in. The feeling of security is at jeopardy, we have lived in our home for the past 1.5 years on Capitol Hill and never had anything get stolen. The bike was parked in our patio in the back and not locke. The bike went missing a couple of days after the cleaner Brian came to clean, again we have lived at our place for the past 1.5 years and never had anything go missing. Coincidence, I don't think so. Was dodgy as ever, I'm very sure that these guys are in it together. A cleaner won't be so bold to steal something without having help, the police mentioned that as well. I have reported the crime and waiting for due course but these sorts of establishments should not be in business. A crime should not go unpunished and other innocent people out there should not be subjected to what we have gone through, I hope this review has helped in keeping CRIMINALS out of your home. read more

Darren was very nice, paid attention to all of the details I mentioned and left the apartment super clean and organized. I was super happy about the cleaning, and even though I planned this as a one-time deep clean I am considering calling Spruse again :). My only feedback is that I wish there was a heads-up text or email sent ahead of the scheduled cleaning. I wasn't sure if somebody would actually show up, so I called in ahead of my cleaning to ensure that the cleaning I scheduled wasn't forgotten. read more

Bottom line: Great cleaning once the person arrived on site. We were scheduled for a 2pm - 4pm cleaning on a Saturday afternoon. We waited around and the person never showed up. Then we tried to get a hold of someone / anyone for support. Called one number, was told to call another number. Called the other number and received an automated message telling me to call that same number. Eventually I texted numbers and someone finally replied asking me to send an email to support. Email? So, I email support and no one replies. Text the number again and miraculously I get a reply. Turns out the cleaner had a bad reaction to covid vaccine #2 and they said they sent an email asking to switch to Sunday. I reply asking what time on Sunday and also gently suggest a phone call might be faster and more efficient for last minute changes. Unfortunately, no more responses that night, despite repeated emails and texts. Fast forward to Sunday and I *finally* get a response at 11:11am saying that Nathan will arrive at 11:30am. I happen to check my email at 11:26am as we're getting ready to leave. Again, a phone call or text message would have been better. From here, Nathan arrived within 10 minutes and was extremely efficient, respectful and thorough in his cleaning. Very long story: 5 stars cleaning 4 star setup and initial appointment 1 star support Averaging to three. I'm hoping to use them again on 5/15 and provided the experience is good, I'll update the review. Update 5/25: Nathan arrived within the agreed upon time window (10am - 12pm) and (again) did a great cleaning job. As a result, I am increasing my review from 3 starts to 4 stars. I continue to have some challenges communicating where I have to nudge emails along after being sent to support@ (their email) in order to get a reply. That said, Jackii recently texted to check in on my experience thus far so I will hold out hope for a better support experience going forward. If these are just temporary bugs in the system, I will absolutely update my review to 5 stars. read more

Great service. And great value for money. I used Spruse cleaning for move out. The condition of the house was very bad with build up on the bath tub and shower tiles. The kitchen cabinets were also pretty bad. Shawn took his time and cleaned everything thoroughly. It took him almost 5 hours to clean the house for a 2 bed and 2 bath. He kept me updated on the status regularly. Overall, I am very happy with the service and definitely recommend Shawn!! The only thing that could be improved a little bit is the arrival time. The time range given is 10 AM to 12 PM. That itself is a long wait time for someone who does not live in the house. And Shawn's ETA was 12:30 PM. It would be great if the arrival time range is not that long. read more

We've been looking for a new housecleaning service for a while after having some not so great experiences. I found Spruse online and it was really easy to book an appointment and pay. Nice that we don't have to mail a check or write a check and hand it over to someone right now! Lorenzo came and did a really nice job. Our stove has never looked better (other than when it was new). First time user of Spruce and was impressed with how easy it was to schedule online and make changes since I initially scheduled the wrong date. Shannon showed up shorty after the start of the arrival window, asked some questions and got right to work. Hello! I'm Austin from Seattle washington. Ex home remodeler, now full time mood booster, and (when cleaners want to enjoy their weekends) cleaner. I'm a huge people person who tends to want to get to know my customers when I probably should be handling business. I value time, and quality and that's how SPRUSE is alive today we strive for prompt, clear, and kind customer service so our customers are informed and happy. Update: The owner made it right which is much appreciated. Things happen, appreciate the generous resolution. *************** Pros: they were responsive and easy to book. Cons: the cleaning was really disappointing. We booked a clean for a mostly vacant house prior to having photos taken to list it for sale. I messaged back and forth with the owner before having my client book and we decided on a deep move out clean. The business owner told me that the person paying for the job would have to book, so I instructed my client to book it. Easy, right? That part was. The actual cleaning was really disappointing. Like, to the point that I had to reclean the property prior to having the listing photos taken. We are talking multiple completely untouched floor surfaces where I could wipe the dust up with my hand, as well as poorly vacuumed carpets and rugs, and that's just a few of the disappointments. I called the owner the same day to tell him I was really disappointed and explained the situation. He said he would look into it and that it looked like the person who booked the cleaning booked the wrong type... Regardless of the type of cleaning booked, should the floors not be properly wiped down or vacuumed? To me, that is the absolute bare minimum of any cleaning company. Anyway, the owner said he would look into it and get back to me on some sort of resolution... 24 hours later and I haven't heard a word. I recommended this company to my client because of the great reviews, just wish we had the same experience as apparently many others have. I understand off days, but dusty floors in several different rooms? Come on. read more

We moved to Seattle in January of 2020 and we are just getting around to having our house cleaned professionally. I did some local research and stumbled upon Spruce Cleaning and spoke with Austin. He set everything up for us to have our house cleaned the very next day. It was supposed to be (2) cleaners but (1) of them called in sick so Shawn was at our house for quite a while. He was about an hour late but that is because his first client ran late and then he needed to buy a new vacuum. Shawn spent most of the day meticulously cleaning our 3000 square foot house including (4) bedrooms and (3.5) bathrooms. My wife and I were very impressed by the attentiveness, kindness, communicativeness and willingness of Shawn to go the extra mile for us as we needed a DEEP clean. Most house cleaners we have had whip through the house super fast and at rare times that could be nice but it is never thorough. Shawn took his time to make sure all bases were covered and listened carefully to our needs and wants. We will definitely use Spruce for our next cleaning needs. We hired Spruse to come every other Wednesday and used them for a year. We were pleased with the results initially but the last few months were Uneven as they stood us up on our regularly scheduled day (we board our dogs every time they come--which is then a waste of time and money and dropping them off and picking up.) we rescheduled the missed cleaning for two days later and they cleaned partially and left everything out and left it half finished when we got home. They tried to come back to finish it on a Friday night at 6pm...??? We do not want them in and out of our house when they feel like it. The owner is not responsive on email, they are very disorganized. I let them them know that we were discontinuing our service. I noticed last night that they charged us for cleaning yesterday when they did not come as we have fired them. I sent an email to the owner, Austin Miller...no response yet. read more

I scheduled the move-out service on short notice. I contacted Justin on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday before I finalized to use Spruse's service on Thursday. I noticed there are a few low stars on Yelp but most of them were due to not communicating well between the two parties. So I communicated with Justin back and force several times and make sure I got all the information before I decided to use Spruse in the end. Justin responded very quickly all the times. Spruse offered the very competitive price. I quoted six cleaning services on Yelp, some of them asked for more than twice as much as Spruse. I did have concern if Spruse's low price means they will not do as good. It's not. Shannon did the cleaning for us. She was awesome. I am extremely satisfied with her work. I would recommend Spruse to my friends and will use its service again in the future. read more

Cleaners show up late, immediately take a lunch after showing up, I selected them to clean: floors, blinds, walls, all of these items added $30-$35. After letting them clean for a while. I got back to my place to discover they left without cleaning any of the blinds or walls, some things were not even fully cleaned like the shower walls staying dirty. Seems like they were only interested in cleaning things on the surface level without putting any care into the thoroughness of their work (something very important in cleaning work) I'd rate higher if the service was affordable, $300 for a half finished job left me quite unsatisfied and tired after I had to finish cleaning after they left. read more

We hired Spruse for a move-out clean from our house which seemed like an impossible job for us to do on our own. The house looked amazing when Spruse had done their magic! Brian and Shawn did an incredible job of tending to every detail including cleaning the cabinets and fridge. They arrived on time, were extremely professional, and made the clean as easy and for me as possible. OK I never do this but I am going to give my highest recommendation to the folks at Spruse House Cleaning. They just sent a very polite and super professional guy to do a deep clean on our place and, honest to Harry, he did EVERYTHING. He was spot on time and cleaned places I would never have thought to clean (don't judge) and our house is seriously sparkling! Those of you who have been here know that, with two dogs and two cats, 'sparkling' is a forlorn dream. I mean, the guy cleaned the SHELVES IN THE FRIDGE! A really good friend of mine had an incredibly messy roommate, and as a gift I got him a cleaner when the roommate moved out. What I didn't realize was how dirty this place really was, but Spruse went above and beyond and all 3 cleaners did a great job: - Caitlin: the kitchen looked brand new! - Lorenzo: the bedrooms were organized and the bathroom looked like a different house - Jamie finished the floors and living room and left them dust free! Today I had Hannah and her trainee Eli do a deep clean with laundry/organization add one for my 2br/2ba apartment, approx 1100 square feet. They arrived on time within their quoted window and were in communication with me via text as needed throughout the cleaning. when I got home my place was SPOTLESS and the organization they performed for my cabinets, shelves, etc was amazing. Our regular housekeeper has not been able to clean our home and we really needed help. We searched Yelp and saw that Spruse could accommodate our needs. Darren came to our home and he was just wonderful. He was masked up for COVID, he was respectful of our home, he was super smart and he understood our expectations. I have used Spruse two times for one time deep clean. I like the convenience of booking online. There are multiple times of the day available for seven days a week. Austin is responsive on Yelp for any requests or changes. So far I have been satisfied with my cleanings. If there are particular ways you would like to get the cleaning done, you can work with the cleaners to provide your specifications. There are a few kinks in cleaning and I am expecting that would be improved with feedback over time. I recommend using them a few times to figure out if Spruse works for you. read more

As a busy, single income household, it's really great to have an affordable cleaning solution for my apartment. I have used this service twice and the professionals cleaning my apartment, Hannah Jayni and Lorena, have been quick, kind and efficient. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is because both times I have scheduled cleaning services, there has been an issue with the schedule. Everything was spectacular. Lorenzo was very friendly and did a jaw-dropping great job on some problem areas of the house. Compared to past cleaning services he was a step above and I would definitely use their service again in the future. Booking was a little confusing but I was able to get next day service which was super helpful since last-minute company was coming over. The only problem I had was I had booked for 6am-8am and the service was done 8am-10am. I just wish I had received a call about the time so I could have slept in a bit more haha. read more

Started using Spruse a couple months ago and have been happy with the cleanings in particular. Dropping a star because the admin and customer service have been lacking, regular scheduling issues and poor communication, but the cleanings themselves have been thorough. In particular, our last cleaner Drew was thorough and conscientious, checking with us about our expectations for each room to be cleaned and then having us check each one when he was done to be sure he had met them. After being newly diagnosed with some health issues, my friend boomed a cleaning session with Spruse to help me around the house. Shannon showed up within the 2hr arrival window, was super friendly a d came ready to help. She focused on our homes personal challenges (i.e dog hair, scuffs and dirt from wheelchair usage etc) and I feel like she really listened to our family's needs. Awesome location - you can walk to multiple grocery stores, restaurants, WS Sunday Market, gym, etc, and is right on the C-line bus route (goes downtown). The building has all the amenities you would expect from a newer building - theater room, game room, rooftop courtyard, gym, etc, but the dog run sets this complex apart. It is the length of the building (probably 10x the size I've seen anywhere else) - dogs can actually run around, which is awesome if you have a larger dog. Great place to live! read more
