Really happy to recommend these folks. The team of 4 ladies came to my place and in just over an hour my 1000sq ft never looked so clean! They walked in like they were on a mission. We had our first cleaning today for this company. House was pretty dirty - 2 shedding cats and a dog. It didn't take very long, and the house is so clean! Hair that was everywhere is now gone, and the floors are cleaner than when we moved in. Just really good work. And another note - they were so kind! I scheduled a cleaning with this company to help restore my apartment after moving out. Unfortunately, things did not go well. The cleaners rushed the cleaning process, leaving many areas of the apartment only partially clean - which I was charged for. Additionally, when I returned to the apartment my bathroom mirror was cracked. Earlier in the day I met my landlord at the apartment to take photos to document the overall condition - the mirror was not broken at that point. I texted the cleaner after noticing the broken mirror and she fiercely denied breaking it and said 'it was already like that' - which is not true. It's upsetting that using this service ended up costing $175 for a mediocre cleaning + $200 charged by my landlord to fix the broken mirror + an additional $80 to clean areas they missed. I used Happy cleaning for a number of years now. Sue is great to work with and they are quick and very responsive. However the most recent experience was slightly disappointing when I asked them to help clean a small house. First, $500 for a 1500 sqft house was a bit pricy. Second, part of the carpet was not very well cleaned and the tenant living in the house requested recleaning afterwards. I would still go back to Sue for future cleaning but I would also check if there are other less pricy options that deliver similar results. read more

They had mild Asian accents, but spoke English perfectly well, so communicating what areas I wanted them to pay particular attention to was easy. I didn't know what to do exactly and basically just pointed out where different the rooms where but really they had it all under control without me. That took all the stress off me and I could get back to my work. +1 star I was in the main room of my house but they quietly and efficiently worked and never bothered me at all the entire time. I really appreciate the professionalism. I got exactly what I needed: a clean apartment and more time to focus on essentials. +1 star. Over the next four hours they systematically cleaned my apartment better then it has ever been since I first moved in, getting under and around everything and even cleaning things I never would have thought of like the door frames. I have used this cleaning service 3 times. 1. They did a move-out clean on a 1-bedroom apartment on short notice. Two people showed up and they did a phenomenal job - seriously. Because I was so pleased with the experience I made sure to go with them again. Unfortunately, the last two times I used them (and they will be the last..) their communication was horrible. I would get information on the phone or by email that was completely disregarded or changed on the day of the clean. This happened TWICE. They were late both times, they increased the price on me BOTH times, they did a deep clean on a BRAND new apartment after I specifically asked for a maintenance clean and charged me for it. That to me is unacceptable and careless. One of the cleaners broke a very valued possession of mine. I understand that accidents happen but instead of just telling me, I found her crouched in the closet gluing it back together with her friend. What the hell? I can't accept that kind of dishonesty. I didnt ask for reimbursement or a discount or anything when they charged me MORE than they had quoted me for a service that exceeded what I asked for. But I am really bothered by the fact that they tried to cover up accidental damage instead of being up front and apologizing. For that reason, I will not be using their services again. Great customer service and very responsive. Cleaned the home with a crew of four in an hour and a half. I requested an item list when scheduling to make sure everything was covered but..... Kitchen counter had crumbs, stovetop had food spots, microwave face was not cleaned, none of the stainless appliances were cleaned or shined. None of the vertical blinds were dusted. Master bath shower was not cleaned. There are dark spots in the grout that are not there when we have a regular cleaning. Master closet carpet was not vacuumed. Laundry room wasn't even touched. Threw away my medicine and entered my home WITHOUT my permission after I terminated our agreement! I fired them after my medicine was thrown away. Imagine my desperation when it was time to take it before bed on Friday night and having to go without all weekend. They said they would drop the keys off at the concierge on Thursday (since they ignored my texts for days). No keys. Friday she said, with no warning, we are downstairs right now to drop off the keys. I told them to come back a different night. They entered my home WITHOUT my permission to return the keys. This still infuriates me as I write it. F for communication. Could not give me an accurate 4 hour window. I work from home and have a dog. No warning or notice in many instances, including after I fired them. B for cleaning quality F for using the keys I gave. Many times pounded on the door until my concierge let them in. F for disposing of the recycling properly. Kept jamming boxes and recycling down the trash chute despite me showing them the proper location. The cleaners never arrived for my appointment. I called them 30 minutes after the scheduled start time, and the person on the other end hung up on me after I asked when the cleaners would be there. I called back, and she said she would text me with an update. I waited 45 minutes, no text. I called twice more over the next two hours, with no answer either time. I never heard back from them. Sue from Happy Cleaning responded to my Yelp quote request within 15 minutes, and she was able to fit us in on the date we needed for a move out cleaning. We communicated via texts and she always responded back to any questions I had within 15-30 minutes, and she also texted when they were on their way. I also appreciated their flexibility to shift our appointment when our movers showed up a day earlier than anticipated. She was always very pleasant and accommodating and very straightforward in pricing. Most of the other places I called gave me wide ranging quotes from low end to high based on how many people they'd need to send, how much square footage your place is, how long it would take to clean...and on and on and on. Sue just asked me when and where, told me what their move out cleaning services entailed and then gave me a price. Sweet. I like easy. :) They arrived promptly between the time they gave us (3-4pm) and cleaned our 3 bed, 2 bath house very quickly -spotlessly and sparklingly clean within 1.5 hours. Let me start off by saying my apartment was a disaster area. They sent 4 people. I tried watching them the best i could to make sure nothing important was thrown away. At one point i grabbed a reusable grocery bag they were about to throw out because it had open mail on top and showed them my iPad and a few other things were in there. They did a good job on the actual cleaning of things but i soon realized they threw out WAY more than they should have. I had a stack of about 20 poster pictures rolled up that is nowhere to be found. And they did a number on my refrigerater also. I mean who throws out new lemon and lime juice?? Sue and the cleaning crew were great. She was very easy to schedule and accommodated me on short notice. Her crew cleaned the entire apartment very efficiently and effectively. They let me inspect the premises before they left, and when I discovered that part of a closet had not been dusted they quickly remedied the situation and profusely apologized (which was unnecessary as it was not easily seen). Sue's communication with me afterwards was also exemplary. When my landlord demanded proof of a cleaning, a month after Sue cleaned my place, Sue promptly furnished me with a receipt within mere hours of me asking her to. She saved me from having to argue with my landlord. I really appreciate her kindness and help. One tip: sometimes they need to come to your apartment a little earlier than expected but they are very accommodating and will come get the key from you or you can leave it under your mat. I got the keys to my new apartment and lo and behold, it had not been cleaned after the previous tenants moved out. The previous tenants had cats and I'm allergic. The place desperately needed a deep clean, and due to some time constraints on my end, I couldn't do it myself. I have never seen the bottom of my shower look so clean. When I moved into my house 6 years ago, the bottom of the shower had stains on it. Over the years I tried every special industrial cleaner I could find, and even paid people to recaulk the thing a few times. The stains never came off. I thought they were permanent. One hour with Happy Cleaning Service and it was sparking with no stains. I have no idea how they did it. I can't believe it. Such a great cleaning service! They even told me they would bring 2 people, but showed up with 4, so the service was completed in half the time they said it would be (even better in my opinion!) Sue responded very quickly to my call and was able to schedule me in for a last minute appointment the next day. However, the next day at the scheduled time I received a text saying that they were running late on another job. She asked if they could reschedule for later that evening or the next morning. I wasn't too bothered by a reschedule and agreed to the next morning. The team arrived promptly at 8am, however, rather than the 2 workers that we had originally spoken about, there was now 4. I was concerned about the price and tried to communicate that I would do the floors on my own. In the end, they did the floors anyways. I also asked if I needed to pay in cash and they said anything was fine, which I thought meant card would be OK. Later it turned out that only cash or cheque was accepted, which resulted in an emergency run to the bank. It would have been nice to have that clearly communicated to me at the start. They cleaned my living room, dining room, kitchen and two bathrooms in a standard Seattle craftsman in about 2 hours. I clean these areas regularly (daily or weekly) but this is a once-a-year deep cleaning. I required mainly the dusting of baseboards and the wiping down of cupboard fronts, walls, and windowsills. Afterwards I was asked to pay $280--the price Sue quoted me was $150-200. I was surprised and not pleased. I called Sue and she told me that the house had been in a poorer condition than expected. If this was the case then Sue or her team should have given me a new quote so I could make a more informed decision. After talking to Sue she dropped the price by $40 but this was still $40 over the upper-limit of the quote! And for only common areas in a house that by almost any standards would have already been considered clean. Having done a deep house cleaning by myself I know I can reach the team's standards in 3 hours by myself. For the most part they did as asked and they did a good job but I would not ask for their services again. I also found Sue very frustrating to work worth after posting this review. I don't feel that the many 5 star reviews she has are representative of my experience. read more

Happy Cleaning has cleaned my house twice. Janie and her crew (different crew 2nd cleaning) are efficient and thorough. That they cleaned the tops of the kitchen cupboards -which I certainly appreciate- but did not dust the plantation-style window shades, I found curious... Happy Cleaning's (apparent) owner, Sue was not only prompt to respond to my cleaning request, she was able to schedule a crew (Janie) to clean w/in 2 days of my request. For several weeks after the first cleaning, Sue regularly sent me text message "reminders" requesting I leave a review for Janie. Her persistence was more than a little annoying; in our initial communication requesting cleaning service, I explained to Sue it was because of my mother's recent death that I required cleaning on such notice. I will be requesting cleaning service from Janie and her crew again. In fact, because its's front and center in my consciousness right now, directly after completing this review I am going contact Happy Cleaning and arrange for regularly scheduled service. There's every good reason to: they do a good job, are careful, speedy, charge a reasonable price and having Happy Cleaning scheduled to come regularly will mean less hassle for me! read more

What an absolute debacle. When they showed up, four people stormed into my house and immediately started throwing things about. They did not wait to receive instructions but just started going to town in the most destructive fashion. They did not speak a WORD of English - I'm not talking broken English, but nonexistent - so it was completely impossible to give them instructions anyway. They threw laundry in a clean basket into the dirty basket, something they would have known about had I been able to actually provide instructions, and they had already fanned out around the whole place. One of them threw my electric toothbrush into the un-cleaned sink. At the end, they held out their hand for payment. Apparently it was not possible to pay with a credit card like any professional business. I had to rush to the bank and grab cash, while the very confused cleaners waited (as hard as I tried to sign and pantomime "be right back", it did not sink in). When I confronted the owner of the business on the payment issue, she told me she had told me cash or check, but I called her out on her lie saying there was nothing in our text history about it, and she just dodged it saying "sorry about that". If you value your house or your peace of mind, avoid this business like the bubonic plague. read more
