The menu was great, lots of items you can order pizza, pasta, and Indian! I got a few dishes, and I was happy with them all. I really enjoyed the veggie burger, and the tandoori paneer plate & the cauliflower wings. Everything was flavourful, and felt healthy, I didnt feel gross after eating this food (most places in surrey you feel like there is MSG and feel not good after eating it) but I felt leaving good! The place was busy when I came in and the staff was very nice and attentive Overall it is very clean, and there is absolutely no meat or eggs there. I will certainly be back to try other items on the menu!

A vegetarian bistro and we had just been talking about trying more vegetarian dishes? Why not? As the name suggests, it is small and quaint, buried in a strip mall and one of those "blink and you'll miss it" places. The decor reminded me of a contemporary restaurant where everything is chosen based on their ease of ability to be cleaned (and for the record, the place was clean), with enough seats to sit about 15 people, and I may be rounding up. We were the second table to enter and we were greeted promptly and given the menus. Perhaps I was misled by the restaurant name and did not really know what to make of the meat dishes that I saw: Beef burger? Chicken Nuggets and Fries? Crispy Chicken Burger? I saw nothing to indicate they were the vegetarian version of chicken nuggets or beef burgers, and about 2/3 of the menu was vegetarian or vegan options, so I surmised they must have put a few meat options there to satisfy any meat eaters that wander through the door. I settled on the Spaghetti with Veggie Balls and the boyfriend ordered the Veggie Curry. The pasta was quite filling (included garlic bread) and I discovered the veggie balls and/or sauce was a tad above my spiciness tolerance level, and was even spicier than the Veggie Curry. In hindsight, I wasn't surprised: it is my personal experience that a lot of the times a vegetarian dish will have a lot of spices added in. Chalk it up to not reading the ingredients carefully and thinking things through. In terms of service, I thought it was great. Water glasses were filled regularly, the waitress checked up on us to ask how we were enjoying the food. I would be very interested in coming back and trying other items on the menu!

I really wanted breakfast and didn't think of the Naam. It's not a go to spot for brunch. Until now. First off, I didn't have to wait in a line. You have access to their lovely patio! And the food was delicious, and very reasonable. I got their Spinach & Feta Omelette (sautéed mushrooms, onions, spinach, red pepper, cheddar, feta & mozzarella cheeses) and I made it a platter by adding their potatoes & miso gravy + Veggie Sausages. The food came hot and fast. And HUGE. I loved that you had plenty of mushrooms and a ton of cheese. I didn't even touch the sausage and still came home with half of the food! You know their miso gravy slaps and accompanies a potato! Service was fine. Again, I'm coming for the food and feeling like I'm at home! I really appreciate this place and can't wait to try more of their breakfast items (I got their dinners down!).

The tempeh burger was the best thing of what we tried. 4/5 However, the other dishes weren't very good. It was difficult to tell what the actual croissant was like, but it was a bit tough to cut and chew. So were the tacos. Definitely depends on the dish, and good for if you're already in the area. Not something I'd recommend travelling for.

Returned recently for lunch on a weekday and was pleasantly surprised to see lots of improvement!…read moreThe salad bar was clean and the selection was awesome. The bar was filled and everything seemed organized and appealing. The stations were putting out food at a steady pace and everything tasted good with a few exceptions. The only suggestions I had are: 1. The hamburger buns are stale and dry... need to procure better bread. Same with the bagels, scones and bread slices. 2. The banana chips and pumpkin seeds are stale. These need to be changed more often. 3. The desserts like the bars and lemon loaves are really awful tasting and not bakery standard. Not sure why but may want to consider some quality control on this. Has anyone actually tried these desserts before they go out to everyone? 4. Might want to keep the bowls warm when placed on the counter for self serve. The food is cold once placed in the bowls. However I am very pleased how healthy and non-greasy the food is. I like the price point and I am now a regular. Great job and please keep improving so I can keep coming!! The servers are also very accommodating!

I also got broccoli that was cooked, cold and raw all at the same time. Lots of bread and pasta options but if you are diabetic that's no good. The salad bar was literally a bowl of salad and bowl of cherry tomatoes. That's it. Went to bed hungry and discouraged. Fast forward to breakfast. Pancakes, bread, cereals, potatoes and bananas. There were sausages that some how managed to be white, despite not being from a white meat and tasted like they were cooked in the oldest grease ever. Rubbery "cheese omelet" which was instant eggs with greasy cheese in the middle. Thought I could eat whole grain cereal offering but guess what? No artificial sweetener to be had. I can pour corn syrup colored like maple on my pancakes, drink all the artificially sweetened soda I want, but I cannot have artificial sweeter in packets because that is "bad". Three kinds of yogurt but sugar is the second ingredient in all of them. And I am again hungry. Guess I will be going to the grocery store despite paying "inclusive meals". This really is some of the worst food I have ever had and I grew up eating free lunches from government surplus food at school.

My daughter was at a cooking class in Richmond and as she would always eat dinner at her cooking…read moreclass, I needed to find dinner for myself. After a bit of Google searching, I decided to try out Greenday Vegetarian. It's a food court stall, tucked away on the 2nd floor of Pacific Plaza building. I found it on the Fantuan app and decided to order my food through Fantuan; then go pick it up. There are two sides of the building with escalators that look nearly identical. Make sure to go up the one that's close to the Big Feet store! After waiting several minutes past my requested pickup time and seeing that the app was still showing the message "Confirming your order", I went up to the food stall and inquired about it. It turns out, they don't actually do takeout orders anymore. They really shouldn't be listed on Fantuan anymore. The lady told me they only do dine-in. Well, I was OK with that as I had planned on eating there anyways. I just thought that pre-ordering for pickup through the app might make things quicker for me.  Even though they don't actually do takeout anymore and shouldn't be on the app, it's a good thing for me that they were still on the app, as the food stall only has Chinese menus and I don't read Chinese! Since I had read the menu on the app though, I was able to put in an order for Eggplant and Tofu on Rice. I was relieved that they had that as there were a couple of other items that I inquired about,  having seen them on the Fantuan menu and it turned out, they no longer served it or else it needed to be ordered about 2 days in advance. Well, the food was good. There was a very flavorful sauce used in the dish, and it was colourful which I always love. I was happy with my food but it sure was a bit of an ordeal trying to get my food from this place. Don't think I'll be going back there any time soon. I recommend this place only if you read Chinese, or if you've got someone who reads Chinese to accompany you!  Service: Good Parking: Plentiful and free for the first 3 hours.  Location: Tucked away in the food court of Pacific Plaza, on the 2nd floor. You really need to be looking for it or else you can easily miss it.

Decent, no-frills, heap, food court, vegetarian Chinese food…read more I stopped in for lunch on a Friday, as I was passing through Richmond and was ready for lunch. The food court is on the second floor and has 8-10 stalls. This little vegetarian stall has an all-Chinese menu, so if you don't speak the language (i.e., me), it can be a bit of a challenge. Thankfully, the nice woman translated for me and told me some items they had available. I ordered a mixed veggie fried noodle dish ($8.75 after tax), which was ready in under 10 minutes. It was mediocre at best flavour-wise, with a slightly sweet, rich soy sauce covering a generous portion of noodles and decent amount of veggies. Tasted like a cheap home-made stirfry, not something I'd want to pay for. Tasty enough, but unimpressive overall. I wouldn't especially recommend it, but if you happen to be nearby and need a cheap veggie meal, you could do worse.

Where have I been all this time????? And I am a devoted "dog mom", so this place is totally right down my alley! It's tucked away, though, and not so easy to find if you've never been here before, but it's SO worth the time to find it and visit! Hands down, this is the most dog-friendly place I think I've ever been to. Photos of patrons' dogs plaster the walls. Dog notices are posted everywhere. I believe this cafe was named for the owner's Great Dane. People bring their dogs here. It's as dog-friendly as they come. And I love that. The coffee and pastries are fantastic. I hear the lunch sandwiches are good, too. My friend has been here often and says it's consistently good. My biggest issue with this place is the lack of seating. In the summer, sure, you can sit outside on the various concrete half-walls and benches, and there's a large outdoor patio area with a lot of tables and chairs, but in the winter, or on rainy days, there are very few tables and seats here. FYI.
