Had a control box that wouldn't work. Jared came out and said the timer had gone out and he replaced it with a more up to date model and it is working fine. I also had a leak that I found after several hours of digging and he fixed it in a hard to get location. I will definitely recommend them if I know of anyone with a sprinkler problem. We purchased a home and had no idea how to operate the irrigation and watering system in place. We had set up a spring check up with Sprinkles, and it took some time (weather, scheduling) to get someone to our house today. Kevin came out and was super professional, efficient, and helpful beyond our expectations. Showed us a new system that uses our wireless to control the system, and helped us test the system and make sure all sprinkler heads were operational. We paid for the system and again felt good about the time Kevin spent showing us how to work it. As for our other issues, he pointed out some items that we should be aware of, and made recommendations that we felt good about. When he left, we were pleased with the new system and now have the knowledge to support the yard and plant watering even if we're away from home. After we called the home office, and Patricia helped us get signed up for the winterization of the system later this year when it's time to shut down until next summer. Easy, just like that we are now set for the year. Good investment and Kevin suggested we reach out anytime we need help. Our experience was great and we view this as an investment in the home and maintenance of our yard moving forward. I scheduled a service/repair of my Hunter irrigation system for a leaking control valve, tech quickly confirmed issue and located faulty control valve. They use a routine practice of selling you a complete valve assemble at a cost of $92 (which is 4 times the market cost for the part) to replace the valve diaphragm that is readily available for less than $8. They rob the customer by selling the whole assembly which is not installed at all, and they remove the new diaphragm and swap it out and keep the remaining new parts. Not a customer friendly practice. Buy your own parts and let them install them if you know the problem solution. read more

All calls to them are handled through the office. You can not talk to the owner or the technician directly, EVEN if you have problems! I am thinking this is a built into their business model, so that you can't complain to him! I think they would prefer to do and estimate with out coming out because I had asked for a date range and they said they were not sure if they could make it, but just would send someone out and they he would call and give you the estimate or would leave it at the time he came out, something about also using use some software that estimates an arial view? They would not provide a drawing or discuss the location for the sprinklers UNTIL the day of installation! I did not feel use this company for the following reasons: (1) Not able to talk to owner, manager, or technician giving the quote or installation If you have to get a technician or someone to go over the quote, or if you have a problem with the installation, or just want to go over what he is going to do, YOU HAVE TO CALL the office and then the person calls you back on a BLOCKED number. VERY unacceptable for a company that has been in business , according to them over 30years. Professional companies would either give their employees a company phone especially the technicians that are giving the quote and the ones doing the work! (2) Estimators and technicians use their OWN phones that are BLOCKED NO company issued phones The first technician that was suppose to come was Anthony, which I was told he could not unblock his cell to show his number because he was normally a firefighter and just did estimates on the side. Which made me wonder why a company with thousands of installations and of course the revenues to go with the installations, did not have enough money to give a company phones so that employees, such as Anthony, didn't have to use his person phones?? I told them it was unacceptable to not be able to call the person giving me the quote. So the person called with an un blocked number, however, upon calling him back, they are not allowed to set up their phones so that you can leave a message. I also never got and answer to my calling him. Also according to the office manager you can not be a certificate hold on their liability insurance, unless you pay them, Sprinkles, money. I have many insured contractors and have NEVER paid for a LIABILITY or WORKMAN'S COMP insurance certificate. This is normally a part of being insured with the insurance company. The owner, Chris ( note no last name was allowed to be given out) is un reachable because I was told he is retired and the office manager Steve is the main person but is difficult to reach. Patricia office sales promised to send me an updated list of references but never got it. Initial reference that was included in my estimate was 10 years old! (3) When you call to make a date for them to come out and estimate, they are unable to confirm a date. I have a yard alarm, so it was imperative that I know when the estimator was coming out. This was not possible, The schedule and available dates of the estimators was not shared with the office and they would have to call me . (4) I wanted to get a copy of their liability insurance and workman's comp- which , they replied they normally ONLY give this to commercial accounts but not residential. Residential accounts would have to pay for them to be a certificate holder ( it means you are names as some one using their services and may make a claim if an accident occurs) This is the FIRST company ever that said they would charge me for this certification of their insurance coverage. read more

I enjoyed their services and installation but be wary of auto winterization. I sold my home and 8 months later they still charged me to winterize and would not waive the bill. Technicians are knowledgeable and friendly. read more

I had someone come out in Aug to check all zones and make sure the system was working and in good order. About 30 days later when I went to use the system one (1) sprinkler head was not working. I called and asked them to come fix that head. The new tech came out and turned a screw and it worked in about 20 seconds. "It was off" then the tech checked all the other zones, found a leak in a zone that I had turned off and don't use. The tech screwed a cap on the end of a hose and billed me $155. When I asked why they told me that it was a "New repair" Lesson learned. DO NOT let a tech touch anything but what they come out to repair. This is how they make you pay for your warranty work. Got to hand it to them, pretty slick! read more

We had some small trees removed, the backyard leveled and needed someone to lay sod. We found a few companies on Angie's List, but Sprinkles was the only one to respond. The next day they came out and we asked them if they could do some extra things as well. They measured and gave us a quote that included roto-tilling a long slope, adding soil conditioner, placing metal edging, and of course preparing the soil and laying sod. They supplied everything. Thanks to some cancellations, they were able to do the work sooner than expected. They arrived on time, did a beautiful job, cleaned up after themselves, and left an instruction sheet on how to care for the new sod during the first month. As it turns out, they could have done the tree removal and leveling as well. I wish I'd known. We couldn't be happier. read more

We just had an irrigation system installed over the entire lawn. Scheduling was efficient and the crew showed up on time, completing the project when they said they would. The system was explained clearly and we were given an opportunity to practice programming it. Sprinkles also sent a tech out to tweak a couple of zones. The next week they did a cleanup of the yard and installed some new plants. The crew worked hard and the yard looks great. Our experience with Sprinkles has been excellent. I had an appointment and they didn't show up. I took off work early and moved some stuff around for my 2 year old, and they didn't even show up OR call to explain why. I called 8 times trying to talk to someone and no one answered. I've read this happens a lot, I would save your time and energy and find another company like me. read more
