I honestly don't know where to begin to express what an awesome experience I had. First, let me just say that Joel is absolutely amazing! I say this and I never even had the pleasure of meeting him in person since I sent my request by email and it was all handled by phone or online from that point on. I had received a notice from the city that I'd be fined if the lawn was not taken care of and was really under the gun to get this done. Having an insane schedule and not much of a green thumb, the front yard was looking like a recluse lived there. It was just awful and embarrassing. Weeds growing everywhere, tree limbs blocking out the sunlight, pine straw taking over the yard and driveway and spilling into the street, and, to top the look completely off, the mailbox was leaning forward to the point it was almost on the ground (it was being held up with bricks placed at the base of the post after my niece hit it with the car while backing out of the driveway). Oh, and let's not forget the grass that was just ridiculously high after all the rain we've been getting. Joel called me back the same day I sent the email and he was there the next day to assess the costs. I explained to him that I was just renting the property so I didn't want to put a whole lot of money into it and just wanted to do what was absolutely necessary to make it descent. I didn't even think to mention the mailbox because I hadn't even thought about that being something he could do and he let me know he could fix that as well. It was a great price and his friendly, professional demeanor made it a no-brainer. Since there were other appointments in front of me, it was supposed to be about 5-7 days before he could come out. However, THE NEXT DAY I came home to a miracle!! He had already done it!! It was late when I got home and it was all I could do to not call him at that hour to tell him how happy and grateful and shocked I was. Lol! I managed to contain myself until the next day and when I called he explained that he had an opening come up and squeezed me in because he didn't want the city to fine me before he got the work done. This is our third season with Quick Cuts. Joel has been an absolute pleasure to work with. I spent most of last summer and fall out of town, taking care of my terminally ill mother. They were there, like clockwork, making sure our needs were met and keeping the awful HOA in my neighborhood appeased - the only problem is on my end, the grass in my yard is not the most agreeable (it killed 3 lawnmowers for me) and Joel and his crew adapted to my fast growing grass by cutting it shorter to the ground, all it took was contacting Joel, explaining the situation and his crew adapted at their next service. Joel and company are exceptional. My yard was in disarray and needed serious work for the lawn and trees. Joel promptly gave me an estimate the next day. They showed up on time a day later and did excellent work on my lawn. They pruned the two trees in my front yard that were so over grown that the branches hit my truck when pulling out of my garage. They raised the canopy of both and they now look fantastic! I had some questions related to my shrubs near the house and the team showed back up the next day and took care of me.
