Other dentists have told me "just deal with it", but the doc here came up with the perfect solution: we had an invisalign made for me -- not to align teeth, just to create a thin barrier that stops the grinding. It's made of very thin and light material, and I barely notice it in my mouth. They told me that they can't normally do this because heavy grinders would just chew through it, but for minimal and occasional grinding it's perfect. The moral of the story is, they took good care of me and I'm sure they'll do the same for you!

I have never been in a more painful dental chair in my life - and that includes the emergency room at Parkland hospital. I have not had any issue or problem with the chair at ANY other dentist. As soon as the hygienist finished the x-rays and reclined the chair I was in serious pain,both back and neck. I just have an average, 52 year old bad back, too - no serious spinal condition or neck injury. I can't imagine what being in those chairs for more than a minute or two would feel like for someonewho does. I was told that all the chairs there are the same. The hygienist was nice, friendly, and the desk was as well. I never met the dentist during my new patient visit, although I was told several times she was "on her way back to meet me". Even after I explained to the hygienist what the issue with the chair was, and was told there is no solution, she then told the dentist, and the dentist never made it back to my exam room. Again, a complete waste of time, and a huge, frustrating disappointment. Especially for a first visit to a new practice I was really excited about. The irony here is that I found this practice for my wife and I, and after some research, I booked both our appointments. This was MY idea. Hers was before mine, and she couldn't stop RAVING about how great the dentist is, his care and concern, his chair-side manner was awesome, how wonderful and helpful his assistant was,how great this office is, and we were both excited about my visit the following week. I was scheduled with the other dentist, and had the opposite experience. I can't help but wish I had been scheduled with my wife's dentist, I might have had a similar experience. Instead, I was treated like an afterthought, and ignored by the dentist who couldn't see her way to come to my exam and meet me, and address my concern with the chair. So now, my wife and I, who would have been regular patients at this practice (with a lot of work to be done), are going to find another practice. Because I was scheduled with the other dentist, not the one she had. We left our previous dentist for similar experiences; feeling ignored, like out concerns weren't being heard or addressed. What a disappointment.

I appreciate his honesty. At one point, his staff even told me I had a refund coming because they overcharged my credit card during a previous visit. What dental office does that? I have had PVC's and PAC's for 30 years but never realized that sleep apnea was the cause. Also, after putting the mouth appliance in each night, I quickly fall asleep. Before wearing the appliance, it would take 1.5 hours on average to fall asleep. Between the correction of my heart arrhythmias and quickly falling asleep, the mouth appliance has been life-changing for me. It has also stopped my snoring throughout the night! I highly recommend the dental mouth appliance that Dr. Edgar prescribed for me if you are struggling with sleep issues. I am sooooo glad I chose to make my appointment here. Got to fill out my information online so I went at my scheduled time and didn't have a wait time. First impression: very clean, advanced equipment, nice rooms with entertainment, and the friendliest staff ever at a dentist. After signing in I was in the waiting room for about two minutes. Someone had just been called to the back so I thought I was going to be there perhaps 15 minutes, but instead the dentist that was going to treat me came out and took me to the back himself. Dr. Sahegin was awesome- he asked me if I had any concerns, answered my questions, and we decided to just do a general examination and figure out my workup. Michele came in, introduced herself, and took me to do my x-rays: some positions were slightly painful but nothing I couldn't handle and Michele was quick to minimize the discomfort :) Dr. Sahegin did an extremely detailed evaluation at the chair as well. I can't express how much I appreciate this as I've had my fair share of dentists that don't answer questions, look at the general places to do major work, and you're pretty much out the door. Amazing!!! Had to get touch-ups on a couple of things and a filling so I was there a while as the machine was making it. Michele even took me to look at it and at the precision of the coloring. It was nice to see everything that happened "behind the scenes" (maybe its because I ask a lot of questions though lol). I also had a cleaning and Kelli (hygienist) was absolutely wonderful. I asked her a couple of questions and she gave me good tips too. I felt as though I was being a little pampered to be honest. I know it sounds strange as it's the dentist, right? Whenever water splashed on me they would dry it off or if I re-adjusted I would always get an "are you okay?" I couldn't explain that it wasn't the procedure that bothered me as I had my mouth open but Dr. Sahegin, Michele, and Kelli all equally checked up on me constantly. I will say, it was kind of nice :D Before I left, Dr. Sahegin walked me out and talked to me a bit before I left for follow-up questions and to ask me to fill out a survey that the office was going to send me. They really care about the service they offer their patients which means a lot. I have definitely learned to expect more from dentists and can say that I am extremely comfortable returning here. I don't see why anyone should have a problem at Champions Modern Dentistry- they all go above and beyond to accommodate you. Highly recommended!

They took over a dozen X-rays and imaging because they couldn't get the angles correct and then charged me for all of them. They insisted I needed a deep clean and lied on the examination by saying my gums were worse than they actually were. They said I needed other procedures and My insurance came back and denied these claims as fraud. They gave me proof as to why they were fraudulent. I have never had this happen before. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and they warned me not to go back. I canceled my appointment , but they had talked me into ordering a partial. When It came in I went to pick it up, but they refused to give it to me, saying I need to get a medical release before I get it. The receptionist was so rude and condescending I couldn't believe it. I caught her in several lies before I left out of complete confusion that I was unable to get my property. So in recap, be careful when and if you go here. Watch out for them charging you for things you don't need, keeping you there for hours to force you to make a choice you do not want, bold face lying to you, and then disrespecting you if you stand up for yourself. I will be filing a claim with the BBB as I am not the only one who had this happen to them
