Here is the place to stay in Waco. Superior staff, well maintained (seemed new and it was 3 years old), and very close to all of the activities in Waco. The staff went above and beyond. I've stayed at 5 star international hotels that could not have provided the help this staff did multiple times! The room was perfect, clean, soft bed, great layout, and roomy! Only thing that was somewhat goofy is the glass door to the bathroom at the foot of the bed let the light show through. A safety tip, do not leave anything visible in your cars as there are some sketchy people living on the streets going through the parking lot. I heard a few complaints. The staff do keep side doors locked from outside entry even with cards.

They canceled my month old reservation the same day I was to check in. Poor customer service!

The manager canceled my reservation the day of my trip and I was notified by email. She gave me 8000 points, but it won't matter because Marriott lost a customer.

Fantastic hotel- rooms are massive and very quiet. Great location across from campus. Front desk really helpful and place is spotless. Will definitely stay again!

Spinghill Suites Just opened in March 2021, very nice and clean. Layout is same as other Springhill Suites that we have stayed at with the exception that there are numerous upgrades, for example the shower with the additional shower wand to use with the shower head or just the tub valve. TOTO brand toilet. Bathroom is huge, long bathroom with 2 ft x 1 ft tiles.. We had a room with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. Very spacious and new with the opening of this property being less than a month. Room includes small refrigerator and microwave and a good Sze TV. Plenty if free parking. Right off the I35 and University Parks, one block from Baylor campus and 3 blocks from Magnolia Market

It is really close to the Silos and parking here will save you the $10 Silo parking fee. There is not always someone at the desk, nor does the phone always get answered. BUT, the hotel has EXCELLENT communication. We received a text before checking in with all the info we needed. Then, advice to text if we needed anything. Actually we sent a few texts that were IMMEDIATELY answered. Impressive! Even in the largest of other hotels, it can take some time to get a real person. We were immediately texted when we had a question about parking, then accessing the room, and others. I read on one review that there are about 10 parking spots. Actually, there are probably 25 to 30 in the lot. We found that we could park in the lot with no issues at various times. NOTE: Some spots are marked with "Reserved Parking". I asked the hotel and they related that hotel guests can park in those spots. We were told about possible train noise. We did hear it a few times, but it wasn't bothersome. In fact, there were ear plugs in a black pouch in the bathroom should this be an issue. There was also live music in the 4th floor bar until midnight. We could hardly hear it & we were on the 4th floor as well. BTW, there are superior views of the silos from the rooftop and other places in the hotel.

It is designed extremely well for a boutique hotel, and appointed nicely. What's it near? It's DIRECTLY next to the Dr Pepper Museum. It's only a five-min walk to Magnolia: Chip & Jo Gaines' shopping area. But, do NOT come here for the "breakfast bites", which is their substitution for breakfast. Sadly, there are only 2 breakfast foods, both bad for you: cereal laden with sugar & yogurt laden with sugar. And, for a boutique hotel, there was a lack of coffee. Yes, there was a coffee maker in the room with 2 pods for us, but no creamer. It was on another floor. We were here 2 nights, and the pods weren't replaced. No coffee the next morning and nowhere in the hotel to get some complementary coffee. That was odd because almost every hotel has coffee, some 24 hrs a day (Holiday Inn, etc). In summation, the location couldn't be beat. Check in was smooth with Courtney at the front desk. We would have never found this hotel were it not for a Travelzoo offer.

The outside looks like, not exaggerated, a hotel ready for demolition. There are beautiful views on two sides of this hotel. Some terrific staff members (Cheyenne at reception, a gentleman immediately came to fix the phone in our room, and Catherine Wiley...and only her...in the restaurant actually cares about the customers), please close more bottom floors and focus on top, for pity's sake get the outside cleaned up, fix the very low quality/high price in your restaurant...Hilton can turn this around. Had tea, coffee in the room and bottles of water if you wanted to pay $2 to drink them, fridge, iron, hairdryer. Checked in was smooth but clerk could have been a bit more talkative/informative. Large conference room on the first level, pool and outdoor seating was nice but it was December so I didn't utilize those. Easy walk to multiple restaurants, bars & shopping at Spice Market across the street and only about a 15 min walk to downtown Waco. Bar & restaurant in lobby, cleaning staff was very accommodating and friendly. Over all good average hotel experience but there are more modern hotels close by.
