The lobby is large and modern, with the bistro bar in the front. There was a nice level of energy at the bar, with people socializing and 80s hair metal music playing in the background. We had a couple of drinks and a flatbread. The drinks were too shelf with Drippings Springs Vodka and carefully crafted. The rooms are large and designed with a flare that makes sense. Unlike A W hotel, where they sacrifice flow with being clever, the Indigo rooms have a nice feel elevated above the standard room in this price range. The clean, comfortable king bed and extra-large shower made for an upscale stay at an excellent price. We'll stay there again!

The place was perfectly set up and extremely clean. I can't say enough about it and beside all that; it's a deal. Then we got to feed and pet the capybaras, which were way friendlier than I thought they would be! The babies enjoyed some extra belly rubs too. Bottle feeding the kangaroo was so fun too- little Dundee was SO soft and loved all the pets, even gave us kisses! The giraffes were super friendly and greeted us every time we were nearby; feeding and getting quality time with them was an extra treat. The safari ride tour was also amazing- 5 of us fit comfortably and got to feed/see lots of animals that we wouldn't normally get to experience. We were surprised at how this place wasn't crowded at all in the middle of July when it is peak vacation season, so it really felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. They also have a beautiful main lodge area that is comfortable and welcoming with additional animals to enjoy.

The air conditioner could not keep up in May when the high outside was 90. I looked across the room at any given point and most of the crowd was sitting and fanning their faces with paper. Sweating. Sitting and sweating from 5pm until 9pm. I asked one of the servers about the situation and they stated the owners did not properly fit out the building from an air conditioning angle. My wife is eternally cold, even in summer. She even said she was hot. Rent in cool weather only.

The Not so Good: -Did not love the breakfast selections (received one voucher per day redeemable for one item). Out of the breakfast burrito both days, and the breakfast biscuit was something found in the frozen section. Cinnamon roll was so dry I didn't even bother eating it. -If your room faces the road, it can be noisy at times with loud cars. Not bad, but not great.
