Last week I took my Sonata for it's first oil change. As always, this is my third Sonata, the service was exemplary. My service representative was Everett Hogge who was very nice and made me feel that my car was special. The work was done and I was out of there in less than an hour with no charge. Horrible place to get your car repaired..Was told my car needed a battery for 140.00 went to pick it up and lo and behold I was told it now needed a starter arm for 300.00 .Every time I ever took the car there it was always over 500.00 regardless of repairs.My car only has 24000 miles on it ,The car was bought there I'LL NEVER GO BACK ! read more

Everything was fine when buying our car, but their service department is TERRIBLE!! Horrible communication and customer service. My husband was verbally accosted by the manager when he asked a simple question. Completely unprofessional. Appointment times mean absolutely nothing-- it's still first come, first served. Our average visit is always about 3 hours. Never going back to service dept and probably won't buy another car there again because of the horrible experiences with the service dept. read more

The job that was conducted was not an orderly or clean one. As the parts were replaced in my car (coolant pipes) on Tuesday the 6/10/2014, which were located above my shifter chip, coolant destroyed the chip resulting in a stiffened shifter and ultimately my car to not start, Wednesday the 11th. The coolant puddles that were found below the shifter chip indicated that a careless job was done and costed me an extra $350 to fix another section of my car. Thank you Hayundai Dealership in Springfield Pa. I don't recommend the dealership. Also the manager of the service department thinks everything is a dick-measuring contest and is super rude. read more

All I wanted was a heated steering wheel and I was willing to pay a little more each month to get it. I walked out of Springfield Hyundai with so much more! They upgraded me to a newer model Santa Fe with so many bells and whistles (including the heated steering wheel) my head was spinning. A sunroof the length of the roof, leather & heated seats, their Blue Link program which offers remote start (like from miles away, not feet), push button start, smart key entry, and the list goes on. This was the most painless car dealer experience I've ever had and I could not be happier with my new vehicle! read more

NEVER GO HERE TO BUY A CAR! They promises "discounts" then when they have you they will not deliver. Also, they misspell your name on the registration and refuses to fix their screw up. They told me to go online to the DOT site and fix it myself. Why should I fix their screw up? again... GO ELSEWHERE TO GO BUY A CAR. They never have good prices and after service is negligible. Went in to purchase a used car at $7000. Said they had to give it a check and clean it as it just was put on the lot that day and would be ready the next day. Went in to purchase next day and price jumped to $8500. Crooks - salesman was Norman. General Manager could care less about what we had to say. Awful. The service department at Springfield is AWFUL. The transmission on my 2006 Hyundai went, and i had my car towed there b/c i thought i had the 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Well, I didn't. Since my car was transferred to me from a family member, that disqualified me. It took them a week and a half to figure that out. I then made arrangements to have my car towed to another dealership, and Springfield Hyundai had the audacity to advise me they would not release my car unless i paid the $105.00 charge for a "diagnostic test". Unbelieable. They are completely unprofessional, disorganized and untrustworthy. I would NEVER advise anyone to get their car serviced there. read more

Unscrupulous business practices for this service agency. My 88 year old mother went in for an oil change and to check car over for the winter. She was told that it was recommended for her to have the transmission fluid drained, replacement of all the belts and to flush engine out. The car has 19000 miles on it, not 190,000 miles. They led her to believe that these services were needed rather than recommended and since she knows nothing about cars and was afraid that something was wrong, agreed to these repairs. How can they take such advantage of an elderly person? The car is an Elantra 2009 and should not need these repairs at this mileage level. When we called to inquire why the work was really necessary, the service manager, Stacy Miller gave us a flip response..."I have her signature on the invoice and that is all I need." How can a well established car dealership, where my mother did purchase the car, take adavantabe of an elderly person? A oil change and rear light bulb ended up costing her over $920!!!!! I inquired about a vehicle that they hadin stock, a new 2014 Tuscon. Ireceived an internet price on Saturday at 3p.m.. On Memorial Day at 3:09 pm I received a follow-up internet price from the internet sales team stating that the price they quoted was incorrect and off by some $1900.00 due to the fact that I did not qualify for alll the rebates that price was based on even though they never met me or knew anything about me. I immediately contacted my salesperson, Michelle, and left a rather angry message with her assisantant to have her contact me again concerning this classic case of bait & switch. Today I settled on a beautifukl Nissan Rouge comparable size, correct color and better honest price. Walk , no run, far far away from this very dishonest dealer. I have told as many who would listen, DON'T BUY FROM THIS DEALER...EVER. hyundai customer care could not intervene with the numbers, however their representative saidthey woul open a case concerning my complaint. My household has within the last 7 years purchased 4 new hyundai vehicles. We have now moved on to Nissan thanks to the dishonest sales approach of the people of Springfield Hyundai. This dealership top to bottom is the worst and Hyundai's are expensive to maintain in order to keep your warranty. Their service department is much higher in price than other dealerships, their service manager is one of the most rude, obnoxious, jerks around. The general manager can say nothing but I'm sorry to hear that but not offer any kind of assistance that will make them better just says the other dealerships must be lowballing you to get you in the door and then will add on labor time. Can't say enough about my bad experiences with this dealership especially the service department but sales is not much better. Gave them another chance and I was right the first time. If you must buy a Hyundai, go to another dealership but do your cost of ownership research. That commercial saying you the warranty is reliable not the car is true but to keep your warranty make sure you know how much maintenance you must pay for. read more

We had great service from keith in buying a used 2004 Dodge Dakota, but everything else has been a nightmare. First of, it's nearly impossible to get a hold of the right people. Whoever answers the phone, IF they actually answer, transfers you continuously to god knows who until you get disconnected. We were also told several times that they will have someone call us back and that they "will personally walk the contact information over" and of course that's absolute horse crap. No one knows who is in charge of what so if you do not have a specific contact, then good frickin luck. The service/repair people said that they fixed things that were actually not done. And then when we point this out they would flat out lie and say that they never said that. Horrible horrible customer service. For once, it was the sales department that actually did their job. I DO NOT recommend this place at all. Ignorance runs too rampant. read more

I truly wish ZERO stars were an option. I am an honest tell it like it is person and this was my first big purchase. I went in wanting to finance a car around $12,000. I explained that to Don Mac and he ran my info. He left the room and when he come back he said good news you have 2 options ( i was figuring for that amount i had said!) So we went and looked at the two cars and i test drove one and was ok with it. I told him i would much rather come back the next day with my boyfriend to pick up the new car and trade mine in beings it was full of all our stuff. Multiple times he insisted on me cleaning out the car right there in the lot IN THE RAIN ! It wasn't until i started signing the papers that i realized that this was a 2015 model and $28,000! I was so embarrassed that i didn't realize it sooner and didn't speak up. Now Im stuck with a 398 a month payment for 6 years and i don't even love the car! It has no pick up. I would not recommend Don Mac or this dealership period to anyone. This was a tough lesson learned but I heard it loud and clear. read more

I found a used Hyundai listed in the paper and on the dealership website for $2,991.00 I wast my morning getting there. CASH in hand ready to go. I need a car and have been saving up every last dollar. I come across a car that'd a good deal and I'm ready to go. I get there.....well it turns out the car is actually $4,991.00 Its 2000 dollars more then the LISTED price. So they try talking me into finance or whatever. It's a scam to get you in the door. I don't want to finance. I'm not wasting my time on a car I can't afford. I want to own my car out right. Second the car is listed way over blue book. I get a dealership needs to make a bit of money, but this is bold face BS. The guys sure where nice. To bad they lie right to your face. I kept my cool, im not one to start trouble there or give them problems. That and the fact that the one dealer was a brick house and had about 250lbs on me....lol So i just gave them the smile like "we'll let me think about it" ha ill never go back and I'll make sure anybody I know looking for a used car never goes there. bought an Accent 11 months ago a 2012 CERTIFIED used car., today inspected, needed rear brakes and only drove car 7,000 miles. was told the brakes only had to barely pass inspection when certified. I sent a message saying I would post on social media to shut them down for this crap. then went into sale area and complained. manager said he would see what he can do. while waiting for the car I was asked to go into an office where the manager was. he had my message and then started yelling at me and talking to me as if he was my father. I was ready to smack the shit out of him but I calmed myself down . I will say he did the right thing and not charge me for the brakes, but they tried to get me to have my brake fluid flushed for $130. a salesperson there told me he has a problem with something like that. I told them not to do it. no matter what customer has to say, their job is to be professional and honest. they fail on this. the service people were ok. read more
