Nail taken out of my left rear wheel today. It was reducing air in that tire too much. Glad to have gotten that taken care of! They were able to fit me jn today and the charges were very reasonable. Excellent customer service. My maintenance required light was on. I dropped my car off during my lunch break and one of the shop workers drove me back to work in his work car. They called me a few hours later to tell me everything was alright with my car, it just needed an oil change. And it was only $39.00. I think that's a very good price especially to get in so quickly. I called the day prior and got an appointment scheduled for the very next day. They even offered to have someone pick me up from work to grab my car. Luckily, my coworker took me, but knowing they offer this for no extra charge is amazing. I would highly recommend this company for your automobile needs. The woman who helped me at the desk was extremely kind and welcoming. They truly value their customers experience and their dedication to providing 5 star service. Couldn't be any happier! read more

I recently switched to McGarrigle's Automotive when I had an emergency for my car. Their schedule was flexible and they were able to take care of my needs quickly. Unlike my old mechanic, McGarrigles always offers to pick you up or drop you off which I find to be excellent customer service. When I tell you this is a top notch business I mean it. We broke down on our way to a wedding, we called desperate for someone to see our car. Denise was so kind and let us come over. They checked out our car and told us where eat and have a beer while we waited. They fixed our old car for a reasonable price and on time. They told us an hour and a half and it was just under 90 minutes. Finding a mechanic that keeps its word in this day and age is rare. We wish we were locals or they were closer to us. If we ever have car problems in the Philadelphia area we will only go to MacGarrigle. read more

By far the nicest staff, they offered water , coffee and had the cleanest gas station restroom ever :) , they also offered up an additional chair for me in the waiting area. I am overwhelmed by the incredible service McGarrigles provided for me. My battery was dead and after my insurance company failed to show up they came, jump-started the car and drove it to the shop. From there they replaced my battery but also found something wrong with the alternator. They saw I had Honda Care and actually called the Honda dealership to confirm this was covered under my warranty and set up an appointment!! They did not charge me or even try to replace the piece covered under warranty and then they drove my car back to my home. Again, never ever have I had service like this in the car industry and I will always take my car to McGarrigles. read more

Very overpriced and unorganized business. Beware if you bring a vehicle for inspection. If it fails their 100 point inspection with a repair estimate $2000 more than car is worth, you are still responsible for $100 inspection payment if you choose to bring to a mechanic that will not require a 2nd mortgage to repair. They also refused to let me pick up vehicle when I informed them I would be bringing it elsewhere. They insisted on dropping my car off the next morning, and they arrived 3 hours later than agreed time. I went to the dealership where I purchased the car 12 years ago to repair and complete the inspection. They did so for $2500 less than Mcgarrigle Gulf''s friendly neighborhood mechanic estimate. read more

Many thanks to McGarrigles Auto Services in Springfield, PA. On a cold Monday night in January 2018, my car was side-swiped and the outside mirror on the driver's side was broken and detached. I requested McGarrigle's help on Tuesday and Pat McGarrigle immediately checked my car and ordered the part. On the next day, Wednesday, they picked up my car and later that day returned my car completely repaired with a new side mirror. They gave next-day door-to-door service with cheerful cordiality. My family and I were 30 minutes in to an 8 hour drive when my husband's low tire pressure warning came on. We stopped at multiple tire places in the area and were told the waits were between 2-6 hours! With two small children in the car, that wasn't an option. Knowing that we just needed a plug in the tire, we drove to this location hoping for help. The guy on duty was so nice and we were in and out in FIVE minutes!!!!! Thank you so so much!!!! read more

I recently had a tire fixed here (just needed a plug due to a nail being in it). They couldn't have been nicer and fixed it so quickly. Then today I stopped there just to get gas quickly while taking my girls to daycare. I didn't realize all pumps were full service so started doing it myself (in the freezing cold) and the nicest man came out and finished it for me. I told him I had kids in the car and that's why I was rushing. He then grabbed a basket of lollipops and told me to take as many as I liked for them. He was so pleasant and so kind and made an otherwise hectic and crazy morning much better. I plan to take my cars there from now on for any service repairs! read more

The best kept secret in Springfield PA! These guys are the best! Extremely fair, and trustworthy, great customer service! They drive my wife and my son back and forth, they have come to our house to charge battery, and not charge us anything. I have heard horror stories about auto mechanics taking people, especially women, and charging them outlandish prices for services they don't really need. I pretty much had the opposite experience at McGarrigle's. I drive a car that belongs in a junk yard. I was having an issue with a slow leak in one of my tires. While on the way to school last Thursday morning, I stopped to get gas and get some air in the tire. The man working was great. When I explained I needed a new tire, instead of agreeing and suggesting I purchase one from him, he took a look at it, found the problem, filled it free of charge and said they would fix it for twenty dollars. He even gave me a free lollipop for breakfast! When I finally got around to getting the tire fixed today, given the amazing service I experienced previously, I decided to bring it back to McGarrigle's, four miles (and farther than the 7 other service stations) from my house. a different group of employees was there but the service was the same: fabulous! They fixed my tire in less than twenty minutes and charged me only ten dollars! I will definitely be back! read more

I made an appointment almost two weeks in advance. I dropped my vehicle off at 8:30am the morning of the inspection. At 3pm, I had not heard from the shop, so I called only to find out they had not even looked at it my car. At 6pm, I received a call stating they only had to change a bulb, but they needed the boss to look at it in the morning to see if undercarriage rust would prevent it from passing inspection. I had to find a ride to work Saturday morning and didn't receive so much as a phone call from them. I finally called at 8:30am, and they tell me it will not pass inspection and that I can come and get it. I was not thrilled with this, but I knew it was a possibility; it's an old car. When I went to pick it up, the vehicle was cold and had clearly not been turned over that morning. It's not even clear to me they had looked at it since the previous night. While they didn't charge me for what little work they did, it took them 8 hours to look at a vehicle with an appointment that required minimal service, and then caused further delay on a Saturday. I will not be returning, much less recommending anyone I know to use this shop for service. read more
