Tossed salad made with special requests.

The Springfield group has created amazing consistency in their offerings. The filet is always spot on and flavorful. The salad I asked for extras, like bacon, cheese, etc. it was probably the best salad I've had in years. Their food is fresh. The servers are amazing and friendly. The Springfield is my "go to" favorite spot to take friends and business associates because I can almost guarantee the meal will be flawless. Boardman, Oh location held at least the same standards as Mars... may be even a touch better (even though I didn't think that was possible!)

Not a great spot. Was really looking forward to upscale dining but found the place to be more "family style" dining with an effort to be fine dining. First turn off was not having a Luxardo cherry in a $12 bourbon cocktail. Followed with a switch to beer which was warm. Appetizer was overpriced and underwhelming My food was undercooked. Ordered lamb medium-well and it came out rare. Side dish was an icecream scoop of mashed potatoes. Service was slow all around. Dirty plates stayed on the table for 25 minutes while we waited for the bill. Atmosphere was loud Won't be back and don't recommend.

Steak and eggs

The service for the Sunday brunch today in the bar area was exceptional. Unfortunately that is where the good experience ended. We arrived at noon, one hour into the brunch. They were out of the Quiche already and another side of scalloped potatoes that was on most of the other dishes. Ordered a Bloody Mary and it had to be the worst I have had in years, very disappointing. I'm not sure what kind of bland mix they use but should be ashamed (unless they were out of that also). I had the Oscar Benedict which as you see how very little Hollandaise sauce and less Crab. My wife got the steak and eggs. Steak was good but scrambled eggs with cheese looked, felt and tasted as if they were sitting in a warmer from last week. Check was brought without offer of dessert. It's a very nice atmosphere, beautiful room but........

Zing Chicken. $17 for very little chicken, mostly garlicky pasta, and a huge hot pepper

Very disappointed with our experience last night. We love the ambiance of this place and looked forward to dining here. The first thing I noticed when reviewing the menu was that the number of offerings has been greatly reduced, and it appears that prices have gone up as well. My wife ordered the Zing Chicken, and got maybe 2 ounces of chicken breast, and a cup of very garlicky pasta, on top of which they placed a huge hot pepper. This entree didn't come with a salad or any kind of a side dish. For the money, this just wasn't worth it. My sister-in-law ordered the House burger. She was asked how she would like it prepared, and she responded "medium." She paid an extra dollar to add cheese. When it was served, she took a bite and discovered that the burger was well-done. After that first bite, she didn't eat anymore, and didn't take it home, either. I ordered the Cod sandwich that was supposed to come with a side dish. I chose the mashed potatoes. After I paid the bill and left, I discovered that I was charged an extra $3 dollars for what should have been included with my meal! Pretty sneaky practice. The one bright spot was that our nephew had the crab cakes which he enjoyed. On balance, given the quality of the food and the inattention to preparation along with the increased cost of the menu items, we probably won't be coming back here again. It's a shame, because I used to like this restaurant.

I believe it was called a honey and fig Manhattan...forgotten the name of this drink but it's delightful!

This place was right by the hotel we stayed at. They're a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately we were here for funeral services and this was for our luncheon. The restaurant is very nice and clean and the staff are all very attentive and courteous. An older gentleman got a bit lost looking for his wife and ended up in our function room but the staff was quick to help guide him back. We had shrimp cocktails, Spinach dip, and crab cakes for apps and they were all wonderful. For my main meal I choose the Filet Au Poivre which was simply delicious. For my drink I had their fig and honey, I believe it was a Manhattan, and I didn't want to share that! Lol. Sorry, no drink menu online for me to confirm the names of the drinks.

I have been dining here since first day they opened. I have seen management and employees come and go. But I never ever had a bad meal or experience! Their steaks are top notch, always flavorful. Sure like everywhere else these days, menus change, prices change, and portions do too! A great place for quality food in a very nice setting!

Pot Roast and Cole slaw

This is such a lovely place. I enjoyed the cozy decor and the friendly staff. The food was out of this world. My husband had the pot roast...he took one bite and dropped his fork. Hahahahahaha!!! I had the Filet Au Poivre. I could cut the filet with my fork. The sauce was perfectly seasoned using the pepper and mushrooms in perfect harmony. I have been here several times and they never disappoint. Try it all!

Decided on this place on a whim. Was not disappointed! Menu was great, food was excellent and no skimpy portions! Our server Julia was attentive, and very personable. Wifey got endless SHRIMP with four different selections , and a side. (Limited time) The cheddar biscuits were better than I remembered. Can even order off the menu a chicken finger (strips) dinner with two sides for land lubbers if you do not want a burger or steak. Place was clean and quiet. Also new rewards program that took 20% off our bill. WILL return again!

Despite that, we waited about 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order or bring biscuits, no greeting, no check-in, nothing. There were only around 6 tables occupied and at least 4 waiters on the floor, yet service was nonexistent. When the food finally arrived, almost an hour later, our appetizer came after the main courses, which defeats the entire point of ordering one. My pasta was watery, clearly not drained properly. The food overall was mediocre at best. The waiter checked on us maybe once the entire time. We also oddly received only 3 biscuits instead of 4, which was more funny than anything, but still sloppy. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place. Subpar service and mediocre food, especially with how dead it was on a Saturday night. Honestly not surprised it was empty. Portion sizes are good though.

I ended up taking my meal to-go and ate it later -- absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the bartender completely changed the experience for me. She was a redhead working the bar around 7:30 PM, and from the moment I sat down, she was noticeably unwelcoming. I was literally the only person sitting at the bar, yet she barely checked on me, offered no conversation, and honestly came across with an attitude the entire time. As someone who has worked in the bartending industry myself and who travels often visiting different restaurants and bars, hospitality matters. A bartender sets the tone for the entire experience, especially for solo guests. Sitting alone at a bar can already feel awkward enough, and a warm, welcoming attitude goes a long way. I still tipped her generously despite the experience, because that's just who I am, but management should really pay attention to how guests are being treated behind the bar. It's disappointing because I truly loved the place itself and wanted to give it a full 5 stars. With better customer interaction from the bartender, this place would easily deserve it. The day I was there tonight, which was May 18th 2026. I arrived about 730 and left about 845.

The "double on the rocks" was shameful. The service was ok at best and the seating is cramped and very loud. Not my kind of place anymore.
